Hi Evelyn ma'am you are very well teaching English advance words it's imperative and useful in English conversation and you are giving me better English education so I'm improving in my English language because of your excellent teaching English speaking and I appreciate your assist in learning English language thank you so much
I got 14/15 correct. Only the first one Q1 was too difficult, I thought the word means something negative. 😅 The others I knew or guessed from the definitions. Here in my country, we have an old saying that literally translates to: "Beginning always hard" which describes the common experience that once you get going, things tend to become easier. 🤓 Oh, and just to let you know, I enjoyed this video very much! 👍
Well, I'm happy to know I'm not the only one who was under the impression "scrupulous" meant something negative. It, in fact, just means "meticulous"; interesting, right?
I have made only two mistakes. It was quite straightforward for me. In fact, most of the words came from Latin. I speak Portuguese, which originated from Latin, as a native.
Guys, I'm over the moon because I got 11 correct. Only the four words were unfamiliar: scrupulous, benevolent, elude, and prudent. Thank you so much, Eveline! Greetings from Ukraine. Keep up the fantastic work, everyone. How many did you get correct?
Got them all.
