A few thousand students nationwide vs the 3,000,000 plus college students is not engulfing.
Some study said that if people actually go through the process to protest then you can easily times their number by 100 to get a feeling for how many people may feel the same way, but didn't have the gumption? to protest. It's sort of the same with call in lines for complaints about some product etc - for every person that phones in then the store knows quite a large # are dissatisfied as well.
It is not a few thousand, it is hundreds of thousands students, if not millions. Just the ones who were arrested were easily over 3000 so far. These are just the ones who were arrested l. There are many many more students who support these students.

@mrL9122 The only standards for secondary education are suitable test scores and, more importantly, money. Plenty of employers will be willing to hire them, especially with college degrees. As I said, this is how capitalism works.
