I hope people make custom mini campaign missions in forge with the ai, maybe recreate old campaign segments from past Halo games.
Segment maybe, but don't get unrealistic expectations for story either
it would be cool if you could make a playlist of ai maps so you could theoretically play a full campaign mission
well 343 devs did say that they(players) can recreate some segments if they want. like the warthog run or stuff like that from campaigns.. but not a whole mission
@@alexlyster3459 never say never. people have made cutscenes and fan-campaigns in jankier games than halo infinite, often without mod tools / map editor. it's just the size of the MP maps would hold people back.
I hope that sort of 'build your own campaign' idea is something they'll keep giving tools for.

I really hope the Operations aren’t just mini free battle passes. The art implies it’s got PVE elements, so I hope it goes all in and gives us higher quality curated multiplayer missions.
No, they are just longer timed battle passes. But we can now earn XP in custom games and firefight. So you're not entirely off either. But we're nor getting Spartan Ops style missions either
Probably at the very least some sort of custom pve mode in matchmaking
They're essentially 6 week long, mid-season battle passes that can be purchased to have permanently as you would a regular battle pass. You can even buy them after 6 weeks is over so you'll always have to option to not miss that content.
Moral of the story: In a world where everyone want you to be the next fortnite or call of duty... be yourself

Call of Duty isn't what COD used to be and every game is becomijg more and more bland because of all the ridiculous skins that have nothing to do with the theme. They already lost their soul and character in their games, Halo should focus on making HALO content instead of wacky shit out of place in this franchise.
BUT THEY ADD A BATTLE ROYAL MODE, being different would be having a functional fucking game that does not play favorites with input devices and has devs who don't laugh at community feed back on shot registration. The fanboyism is reach mental disability levels

They need to have a Cortana AI purchasable of course. They probably need to pay Jen Taylor a cut off each sale but I'm sure it would be worth it.

That is something 343i should have definitely monetised. But they would also have to think about the other languages they have to translate to. I'm very surprised they didn't include Mati (the leaked AI made by Lux Voluspa, same as Iratus) in the Battlepass. Would have certainly made it more enticing.
They need to add an emote or when you’re spartan is idoling/not moving for a while, the spartan puts out their eft hand and the AI appears on it. Like Cortana with master chief in the campaign.
i think it would be really interesting if they added in a way to make custom game cinematics for pve stuff
I would love a SFM style editor for forge. That would change everything.

They said in the past they won't be doing it, and second they let Go the entire campaign side of the team during the lay off at Microsoft. They are telling him to shush because it's not going to happen for a long time.

This is probably the most hyped I've been for Halo since the time prior to Infinite's launch. The feeling of actually being heard and having fan feedback appear in game feels good.
Plus the introduction of PVE now will defintely keep me playing consistently since I think having a casual mode like Firefight is what the game needed for so long. Plus Firefight map remakes and custom modes are going to be amazing as well, and I'd assume will be put into playlists by 343i.
Overall the new CEO and team have been killing it and it honestly feels like Halo is back at where it should be for the most part. At least in terms of putting community and social aspects of the game at the forefront.
I'm so excited for AI in Forge, I'm gonna create huge bases and either hold out against the Banished or invade the base myself. The Flood customization will be amazing to wear, especially for Infection.
Am I the only one who liked Sanghellios from Halo 5? I'd like that back. It'd make for a fun Multiplayer map.

It is good to see Halo in recovery, but I fear 343 will yet again learn a wrong lesson if they think they can sit by and let the game persist only through the community's work.

I see nobody bringing it up, but I have something to alleviate the concerns of most people who’re tuned in: While there is a 32 AI at once limit, I’m pretty sure no Halo game has ever exceeded 32 enemies loaded at once in a single engagement. Maybe Firefight or Warzone Firefight did that, but whenever I think of encounters in the games, they don’t go past 20 enemies crowded together.
Tbh halo’s combat breaks down if you just flood a map with AI. It becomes less of a combat loop and more of a mess like Warzone firefight

@@LateNightHalo see, you absolutely get it. Gonna be fun to see say Marines and Banished both fighting with and against each other on the same team against a similar makeup enemy team.
I'm pretty sure the hard-coded limit on AI has always been around 32 or 40 since either CE or Halo 2 (excluding small wildlife and flood infection forms as their AI is handled differently). You can place more characters/bipeds than that but once you reach that limit the game'll start turning off AI to avoid going over it.

Imagine if we got a UI overhaul, proper lobbies like Reach, map veto system, a BR and a campaign expansion similar to Phantom Liberty.
That’s what this game really needs, and I hope 343 know this. Halo Infinite really could have a comeback if they play their cards right. It was always a fantastic foundation (sadly built on a terrible engine but oh well).

I love that Prism actually has map interactivity with the little needler crystals. Finally a map that isn’t just a mirrored arena map with no cool features.

Im a PVE fan of Halo more than anything, so I cant tell you how excited i am to have custom PVE levels for the first time. Never again will we have to wait years and years for more campaign content, and just in time too; Prodeus jsut got taken off gamepass and it had a TON of fan made content.
Idk why but the master cheif standing in the at ease position makes him seem so gentlemanly
Can't wait for Season 5 Forge/Customs! I enjoy making racetracks and not typical multiplayer maps, so I'm very very excited to make some PvE Campaign Missions! Already have some ideas 🙂

I'm definitely down for a world where they lean on the community to come up with maps, while focusing themselves on content we *can't* make. Weapons, game type templates, Elites etc.
I'm also husky raid and team huskies player as well
I need networking fixes. I live rural and networking issues + rural = pain.

It's nice to see 343 caring about Halo Infinite more, and this update looks like it might (hopefully) be 343's redemption arc, also, Hey LNG! Been a while, glad my notifications let me see your deluxe-like content
At this point my number 1 want for Infinite now is a UI overhaul and the addition of player cards, once we get those things I think I’ll be satisfied with Infinite as a package. Is it the Halo game of my dreams? No, it probably won’t ever be. But Pierre and his crew have done a damn fine job over the past year of picking up the pieces left behind when 343 got decimated, and turning a hollow mess of a game into something I’m actually excited to play.
LNG, please, PLEASE, don’t give up on pushing for lobbies. This feature is desperately needed

Havent played the game in a year or more, but i reinstalled the other day. I will say, while this feels like a "redemption arc" for 343, thats how a lot of the community also felt about MCC getting fixed up pre-infinite. So im not going to get my hopes up for whatever the next halo game is unless it launches in a good state

But I'm happy it'swill be here and is a good way to work in the limits they have and to murder that scope creep... Which hopefully the next game will be the new Halo 3 after Infinite and HMMC get old playuers back and new players in.

All the forge mode is really missing is some real terrain editing tools, don’t get me wrong people absolutely kill it with what we have to the pount where you really can’t tell. But to be able to do that is a very arduous process. I wish it was a bit easier, but what we have is still fine, and even if they did add in a real terrain editor i would still like to see the way we have now stick around, as a more basic version. Cause we can definitely still use it in a lot of unique ways.
I don't know if i like where they are going with the flood design. Its more treelike than what it used to be wich was tissue and fat, not so stiff looking. Maybe it just a design choice to display the armor more. Either way i am happy with this season, would have liked a new vehicle or gun, but the forge AI is a good compensation.
Don't fret. You can get Master chief's armor in just 7 days as long as you play just 88 hours a day.
Impressed with features that would have been there on day 1 had it been developed by a competent company lol.

I wish there was elite inspired armor pieces.
I'm very happy to see Infinite finally be close to what I had wanted it to be. I love seeing forge with AI. Great maps. Tons of support for customs and player made content. I am glad to see general improvements. While I think it's odd Master Chief's armor wasn't in the game from the beginning, it looks wonderful.
I just really hope at some point I can get over my grievances with how this game released. But my biggest issue being monetization of basically all cosmetics and the restriction on player customization being so harsh. Especially after Armored Core 6 dropped and just did what AC games always did, 100% player freedom in customization. You don't pay for colors, you get a literal full rgb color scale. You can make custom emblems, like as in depth as CoD Blackops and slap it on your mech. Idk, I hope Infinite continues succeeding and healing.
If only we could change the Mark VI armor pieces and helmet. I wanna look like Kelly, Linda or Fred.
Do you think there will be a PvE dedicated gamemode for custom forge ai maps? Or do you think we’ll have to play player created firefight and mini campaign levels on like, slayer?
I really hope the isolation remake looks amazing since I'd love to see more dev made flood maps.

Honestly a bit sad the multiplayer story content is getting canned (since we aren't getting any future campaign story content either until the next halo game). Glad that we are getting more maps, armor customization, etc.
It'd be cool if 343i continued adding onto the multiplayer story w lore drops here and there. I was actually really starting to get interested in the story in Season 4, especially w Iratus.
“Multiplayer story” is always useless and unnecessary. It’s multiplayer! If you want story, play campaign you noob!
I wish the explosion and bullet graphics and artstyle were of higher quality. My bullets feel like Lego guns and my explosions feel like overwatch. I wish that dirt would rip up and the explosion look like a real one.

I haven’t tried this in a while, but can your fireteam join custom games? The times I’ve tried, you could only invite your friends to a custom game from the custom games browser once you join one. You can’t all join together from a fireteam

Tons of ideas for future seasons. Customizable HUD etc HCE and H3 huds, playable elites, Alpha nine armor kits, FT Osiris armor kits, bungie era weapon design and vehicles, cortana/weapon Ai, Roland Ai?
I don't like how the main menu looks like. I hope this helps in terms of speed on moving in menus, but it's too much like a generic live server menu.
I hope for new tuning weapons. Like, they need to renerf the Disruptor, the granades etc.
But I would love to see a decrease of this desync :\

I don’t love the grind for the Mark 6 because its literally the only core I planned to use but I’m sure people might find a glitch in customs that I will certainly abuse lol.
