Hey Guys, oops, We made a mistake! We just realized this video was sitting in our UA-cam Video Manager as "Unlisted" when it was supposed to have been Public for nearly half a year! (Not to mention over a year for the original version.) We just today realized this mistake and made it Public like it was supposed to be. I had been wondering why no one was watching it compared to our other GOT Epic History videos and confused why people kept asking me where it was. Not sure how this happened...I am still confused, but at least here it is.
***** Nah I'm sorry. It's way too freaking long, probably wouldn't hold my attention either just because of the way it's written. I have a lot of trouble getting into high fantasy because it's always written in a then-this-then-this-then-this format. Hardly any imagery or literary devices, probably because they have so much info they need to cram in. It took me two weeks to read the Hobbit (I usually read one book a day or every two days) because my brain just does not find this writing style interesting at all. The Hobbit had a good plot and everything, I just . . . can't
imsoryimsokool Nothing impresses chicks like long GoT backstory while pausing mid-action scene to explain it. They LOVE that stuff. Seriously though; ever realize just how much more interesting the world's history is compared to most fantasy histories out there in context to said fantasy histories? Sans dragons, of course.
Omg, could you imagine how epic a Robert's Rebellion movie(s) would be? The mental decline of The Mad King, the murder of Ned's father and brother, the fight between Rhaegar and Robert, Jaime's story arc in general, the massacre of the Targaryens. If they focused on multiple characters like in the books/show it'd be so good, because Rheagar's a good heroic character and Ned & crew are "good guys". So it'd be like if Tyrion and Dany had a fist fight to the death, the audience wouldn't know who to root for.
Martell's deserve a full version by far! They were also conqueror's with Queen Nymeria, they have a diff. set of rules and ways of living and they could not be taken by the Targaryens when Aegon came to conquer... Def. a full martell's epic story :D:D

comicbookgirl19 The Starks have been fucked over so much! I think that's why a lot of people like them, they are like the underdogs of a song of ice and fire. Thanks for educating me more on them!
And this is why all of those exchanges between Arya and Tywin are among some of my favorite scenes. She was already a little bad ass, but when Tywin asked her what killed her father and she answered, "Loyalty," she jumped up at least 5 more levels of bad assery all at once.
this is the best epic history out of all of them!! Mainly because the epic detailed history dating back to the dawn age and more. She must have an extremely good memory...so amazing, she's amazing :)

Been going back and watching all her Epic Histories again, love them so much and HoD got me back into the World of Ice and Fire. Took a while after the GoT catastrophe 😢
Thank you so much for these. As someone who has not read the books (yet) and really enjoys the show, these histories really help to flesh out the world and make the show that much more enjoyable.
Dont know why you stopped doing these. They are very insightful. Thanks to the show, it made me want to read the books. Being that the show lacks detailed info, what the character is thinking etc. I wasn't satisfied with just the show. So this breakdown you gave explains alot.
Amazing video! Can someone please tell me what's the music used at 8:13 (when she talks about king Torhenn) and the one used around 24:25 (battle of the trident...etc)? I assume they're from the same soundtrack.
I don't know what's different in this one. I can't remember when I last saw this. I was so confused when I seen this was uploaded again. Checked the submission date like 12 times, questioning if I knew what year it was hahaha
Thank you for finally getting this out to the public. I have been eagerly awaiting it's arrival and I was not disappointed. You did a fabulous job tying all the timelines together and making the history completely flow in linear fashion. I appreciate your videos and they help me understand the show so much more. You are amazing!
not really since it was very obvious. To me, it seems like GRRM is leading people to make that assumption before he twists it around into something else. At least I hope so because that would make the story even more unpredictable.
I don't have a preference, just that I hope R + L = J isn't true because it would be predictable. It would make him Azor Ahai and that means he is practically indestructable until he defeats the Others
Question: Will you ever update the histories of these houses with what information we received from The World of Ice and Fire? Like for instance, Ned Stark's mother's name? That at first was what I thought you were doing by re-releasing this. Not that you should feel you need to constantly re-make these videos as we find out more and more about the different houses, but it was a passing thought. Cheers, it is a good video series after all, and what got me interested in the franchise. It's funny that this video was unlisted because I did watch it the first time (this version that was uploaded not long after the House Baratheon video).
You seriously upped your game with this one. You nailed it about Lyanna/Rhaegar except about their history. I think Lyanna fell for him during the tournament, IMHO. This was great.
First vid of yours I have seen, thanks for the info you certainly have a nice way about yourself that makes a person want to listen and watch........beautiful eyes as well. I'll probably watch the rest to catch up on what I didn't know, again thanks for the time you put in to this.
[POTENTIAL SPOILERS] Tyrion is the third head of the dragon. Aery's took "unwonted liberties" with Tyrion's mother, Tywin's wife, Joanna. This explains a lot about Tywin's conflict with Aerys, his hatred for Tyrion & statements like "Men's laws give you the right to bear my name and display my colors since I cannot prove that you are not mine." [/END POTENTIAL SPOILERS]
And just to add to my theory, this is from a study of human inbreeding published at West Virginia University. The study suggests that: "Inbreeding in the Lancaster settlement is thought to be a major cause of infant mortality due to genetic defects. One of these deleterious recessive genetic disorders that led to increased infant mortality is Ellis-van Creveld disease. Ellis-van Creveld is a disease associated with dwarfism in the extremities and a malformation in the heart's atrium." www.as.wvu.edu/~kgarbutt/QuantGen/Gen535_2_2004/Inbreeding_Humans.htm So inbreeding seems to cause a greater potential for producing dwarfism in your offspring. Aerys is the product of inbreeding, if he fathered Tyrion on Joanna, then this result could be expected. Inbreeding & dwarfism is common in most animal species. You can be certain that GRRM knows this.
Yes I read a theory in that a few months ago. It never crossed my mind and i wa really impressed with it. I do hope it is true!!! I love these theories, they're so in depth with reason and evidence supporting it all.
I like the theory that Jaime/Cersei are actually Targ offspring. It would make sense since the Targ are known for their incestuous relationships (hence why the mad king was "mad"). Their own mating would be a continuation of the family tradition. Making Tyrion the only true Lanester heir. Brilliant. Suck it Tywin.
I'll be very disappointed if the L+R=J theory doesn't turn out to be true. I think I would even lose interest in the whole series. I'm so obsessed with that theory and Rhaegar :P
Robb Stark True, but bastards can be legally legitimized like Roose Bolton does with Ramsey. Also, he still has Stark blood obviously with Lyanna as Jon's mother but it's just that Ned Stark kids are his cousin and not half sibling if the theory is true.
Daniel Kunkle Legitimized by a king, not any person, I doubt someone would,Stannis offered to make him Jon Stark, he refused. And polygamous marriage were forbidden after Maegor the Cruel, the Faith of the Seven doesn't accept a man with more than one wife at a time, Jaehaerys agreed with the High Septon the Targaryens would stop with this.
I think by the end of the series Danerys will take the Iron Throne but will fall ill and will die without an heir of her own. And if L+R=J is true she will make John Snow her heir and John will be the offical Lord and Protector of the Seven Kingdoms. I'm willing to bet that this will happen!
Crazy "third head of the dragon" theory SPOILER ALERT . . . . . . . . . . . . . It's possible that Tyrion is a Targaryen. In the books part of his hair is white, like the Targaryens. And Tywin insisted "You're no son of mine" to Tyrion. It's possible that (given we know Aerys had a thing for Tywin's wife) it's possible he raped her. And that Tywin kept it secret and planned on raising Tyrion as his own to avoid shame on his house. But Tyrion was born deformed and Tywin's wife died in childbirth. So he had to raise a deformed child, lost his wife, and all of that made it very simple for Tywin to betray Aerys. Plus this theory jives with Tyrion introduced as one of the only major characters who had an existing fascination with dragons while everybody else had forgotten about them.
This series of videos helped me understand a lot of things, I wanted to read the books this year but I didn't have time because of college, now that I know more about the lore behind the show I enjoy it so much more, THANKS TEAM CBG19!!!
I think Lyanna and Rhagar is based on Helen and Paris. They loved each other but couldn't be together, so Helen ran off with Paris, but her father thought she was kidnapped, so he declared war. They caused the Trojan War, much like how Lyanna and Rhagar caused Robert's Rebellion.
Maybe someone already said this here, but I think the third head of the dragon is Tyrion. Think about it, Tywin always says "you are not my son". He is probably the son of Aerys Targaryen and Joanna Lannister (Tywin's deceased wife)
I mean... we NEED a movie about the Rebellion... the climax with Rickard and Brandon dying would be one of those scenes that make men shed the Manly Tear. And then they could end it on a hopeful note with the whole Lyanna thing, because that's obviously a tale of love. That could be the whole underlying no-one-knows-the-truth-and-it-ruins-everything Love story.... pleasepleaseplease
Absolutely love your style. Almost very detailed history with minor things left out. But you managed to hold the whole 35:10 video very interesting and entertaining. Well done and keep up the good work. Would like to see you on bigger screen. :)
How is Daenarys not "The Prince that was Promised"? She awoke dragons from stone and was born on Dragonstone, etc. Fits the red priestess' prophecy too perfectly.
Wiicubemaster I think it states somewhere that she can be even if she is a girl because she is a dragon and dragons are genderless or something like that and that the prophecy may be a girl. I'm not sure but I remember something like that in the books.
Because there are 3 parts to this prophecy that tie in with what appears to be Jon snow, daenerys and possibly bran or another Targaryen family member. It's all prophecy, so even characters in the book who think they know what they are talking about could be completely wrong.
The problem I have with the theory of Jon's paternity is it hinges on the assumption there was a veiled promise made to Lyanna by Ned. The reality however is quite different. In the book the promise is made quite clear in the context of a conversation between Ned and Robert at Lyanna's subterranean crypt. Robert was pissed that she wasn't buried under a tree so the sun could shine on her and the rain could wash her clean, to which Ned replied (paraphrased) She made me promise to bury her with her family here in Winterfell, then he goes on to explain how he found her and reiterated how she made him promise to which he agreed. I do however agree that she was totally in *lurve* with Rhaegar.
btw there are a couple of notes that leave you to presume that ned was in love with the oinly daughter of the lord of starfall in dorne, they fell for e3ach other at the tounament at harrenhall and sche would propably have consold him after allanas dead read the last Barristan selmy chapter in the 5th were he things that the girls child was stillborn but in a chapter in the 2nd or 3rd book where arya stays with the brotherhood at a brothel you meet a girl who says that ned stark took "john" with him.
Yeah Jeff I didn't mention it but, I was a little bit confused by the poor grammar. I am not a 'Grammar Nazi' though I am very much in favor of at least using some punctuation. Especially since you don't really have to know how to spell anymore!
i'm sorry guys but english isn*'t my first language and thats why my english isn't that good, especially because i don't realy write english very often.
I see! Well that make's sense! Sorry but you gotta remember we deal with so many people in America that write post way worse than yours so it's kinda hard to tell when English isn't someone's 1st language!
Why would Rhaegar take Lyanna to Dorne, the birthplace and homeland of his wife? That just seems extra cruel to me. Maybe Elia saw the writing on the wall, and told them where to hide.
If I remember correctly the area of Dorne they are in in is quite far away from the Martell's and remote in and of itself. Also extra good hiding spot as who would expect him to go where his wife is from? Ad into that, that the Dornish are not as unified as they seem given the three types of Dornish.
The place he took her, the Tower of Joy, is also property of the Dayne's, a noble House from Dorne. A Kingsguard and bff, Arthur Dayne, took him there to keep them safe and secluded, I think.
The Tower of Joy was the safest place Lyanna could be hidden away from the war for childbirth. Dorne was loyal and considering Rhaegar sent 3 of the best Kingsguard to have ever lived with her it seems like an adequate precaution. Also what is also quite revealing is that the Kingsguard didn't remain to protect the Mad King, which suggests that they knew Rhaegar was the better choice. They knew Rhaegar was going to his possible death and protected Lyanna until she gave birth to the future king.
spoogeninja ... Um Tyrion isn't a fucking Targaryen? The other Targaryen that well now is dead was Aemon Targaryen, also known as "Master Aemon" in the Night's Watch
***** (spoilers for the fifth book) it's canon, yeah. what isn't clear is whether he's actually the real aegon or not. griff and aegon himself clearly think it's true, but maybe he could be a pretender, or a distant targaryen relative... we don't really know
watching the 1st 3:35 minutes of this video is the 1st time I am completely understanding what came 1st and then what in the History of Westeros. Something about the way you tell the story, the use of visual aids and I guess added with all the knowledge I already know, finally makes sense. THANK YOU Comic Book Girl.
It always seemed to me that Barristan kinda looked back at Rheagar through rose colored lenses, only remembering the good. Rheagar could not have been this perfect prince if he kidnaps/runs off with another lord's betrothed. Even if it was love, he had to of known there would be consequences, running off with the heir to Storm's Ends' bride and the Lord of Winterfell's daughter. He was also rather obsessed with prophecy and the song of ice and fire, which makes me think that maybe Lyanna was in love with Rhaegar, but not vise versa. That he was using her as a means to an end, to fulfill the prophecy.
The song on Ice and Fire is not about union between a house from a cold region and one from a warm region, it is about a battle between good and evil, light and darkness, life and death, warmth and cold.
No, Rhaegar believed the Song of Ice and Fire was a prophecy. The Prince that Was Promised would be the Song of Ice and Fire. When Dany was in the House of the Undying, one of the visions she sees is Rhaegar holding baby Aegon and says, "He is the prince that was promised, and his is the song of ice and fire." He also says the dragon must have three heads, meaning he needs a third child and Elia could not bare him another son, so he would need another woman, and what better woman then the Stark daughter, ice to House Targaryen's fire.
He didn't BELIEVE it was a prophecy, it WAS a prophecy about Azor Ahai reborn who would lead the war against the others. Either Danerys or Aegon the VI is Azor Ahai reborn
Still doesn't change the fact that Rhaegar was kind of a dick, obsessed with forcefully fulfilling a prophecy no matter what it takes. He humiliated his wife in front of the whole of realm, he took a young lady with him without considering the consequences (once again humiliating his wife) and eventually pretty much held Lyanna prisoner in the Tower of Joy by the end of the war, all for his selfish reasoning to complete a prophecy. Honestly, I don't understand the fandom's overall positive regard for Rhaegar Targaryen without flaws while he was responsible for pretty huge faults.
Spoilers!: According to George R.R. Martin in a letter from 1999, Jon was born before Daenerys by about nine months, so Jon is clearly the Targaryen heir in this case. Plus there's the whole blue rose vision at Qarth, implying he's Lyanna's son. I haven't fact checked the authenticity of the letter; but the story of Harrenhal tourney reveals that Howland Reed was sharing ned's tent that night. He couldn't have conceived Jon. But then Brandon's love affair needs to be taken account: clearly he and ashara had a child. This neatly explains why Ned has a Dayne--the HEIR of all people--named after him. He was the uncle of Ashara and Brandon's daughter, besides being the man who brought back Dawn after slaying the Sword of the Morning. Despite Ser Arthur's allegiance in the king's guard, and their own loyalties, the Stark cause was the Dayne's by marriage. Hence their general nuetrality in Dorn during the war. Also they probably helped concoct as well as corroborate Ned's cock-and-bull lie about welping Jon. Besides protecting the heir of the Targaryens, what good would it do Catelyn to tell her Brandon cheated, producing a still born bastard off Ashara? I mean...Brandon's dead. Why not use him as fodder for the bastard story? Ned was killing two birds with one stone, protecting his brother's memory and explaining away Jon's parentage. To the Dayne's this would have been immensely honorable, especially in service to the Targaryens. All this really does is just clear away the Dayne smokescreen, but I'd thought I'd just share it anyway.
But how? Daenerys and Viserys escaped kings landing the day Eddard came home with newborn Jon in his arms... Daenerys was like 4 years old and her brother 8.
wow relax I wrote this after seeing this video and don't go like theory hunting to find out if everyone else thinks the same. So okay nice to know now other people think the same and let's move on...
That is good, but I like it better when they choose less well known actors so that you don't recognise them and get pulled out of the show. That is excluding Sean Bean, of course. He's the bomb.
I don't know why I keep imagining Lyanna saying something like "Let's run away together, what's the worst it could happen?" ¬,¬ just a war Young lady... just a war But now that you say it like that, the song of ice and fire wouldn't just be because of the song that Lyanna found so charming, if it was about them???? O_O
Loretto Ponton Looking at it, if Lyanna was so much like Arya than why would she want to run away with any man? The problem with the events concerning her, Robert, and Rhaegar is that it is only discussed from Ned's perspective and he doesn't know everything concerning that. It is like history in actual medieval times, some things we are just never going to know 100%. Robert could have heard a lot about Lyanna from Ned at the Vale, Rhaegar could have been as insane as his father but just good at hiding it, the whole war could have been in opposition to a plan by the Maestars to overthrow House Targaryn.
Loretto Ponton It's interesting how the things people thought of as myths we know happened while the history involving just people are nowhere near as complete.
Loretto Ponton What happen with Lyanna and Rhaegar didn't cause the war. It played a role though. Brandon demanding a prince to answer for his crimes to an insane king started the domino effect. Areys killing two Starks, Jon Arryn heir and demanding Ned and Robert heads was major along with Jon Arryn raising his banners and declaring war. The mad king behavior over the yrs probably contributed to other houses joining the rebellion. There are many ways the war could've been avoided. Through diplomatic means, compensations, duels and most of all Taking to Rhaegar Targaryn and Lyanna Stark first. Abduction of a individual from a major House doesn't automatically mean war. Appears to happen all the time in those times. Most nobles just paid a ransom to get that person back like the Frey's have been shown to do. Wiping out most the Targaryn line was unnecessary. The actions of ruthless, vengeful and ambitious men with plans of their own. Disposing and replacing the mad king with Viserys was an option too. No one even knew what was going on with Lyanna at this point. No one really cared in the end except Ned. Robert was too busy gloating over dead Targaryns before he knew Lyanna fate. So what happened between Lyanna and Rhaegar wasn't the real reason for the war. Otherwise it would've ended with the death of Areys and Rhaegar. Now Robert can look back and justify his actions as being righteous. The victors write history. Terrell Allen Maybe because Arya is still a child, and like most young girls under 12 yrs old don't think about boys romantically. Besides being like someone doesn't mean carbon copy. They were both consider wild, and love sword fighting, characteristics that make them alike. I think Ned knew enough about his sister to make a comparison between his daughter and sister. We get Ned perspective, Barristan Selmy, and a few opinions about it from characters without POVs like Robert and Meera. No reason to believe any of them but Ned KNOWS something because he actually saw and talked to Lyanna before she died. Ned doesn't seem to hate Rhaegar, the man who allegedly kidnapped, raped and murdered his sister. A person as to be aware of their madness to try to cover it up. Besides there is no hiding insanity. Takes too much logic and reason skills are need to scheme to play such a role. Opposite of what insane ppl do.
I remember when I first saw this in 2014 and she explained the R+L=J theory, my mind was absolutely blown 🤯I can’t wait til it’s explained in the books.
I'm half way through watching this and loving every minute. I've read the books 3 times each and every other thing you're telling me is new information. Couldn't like this more.

this is the best epic history out of all of them!! Mainly because the epic detailed history dating back to the dawn age and more. She must have an extremely good memory...so amazing, she's amazing :)
So if R+L=J is true, and Lyanna's last "Promise me, Ned..." was in fact regarding Jon, then Jon really is 'the prince that was promised'?
that heroic music going on during the epic battle between robert and Rhagar is awesome...
Please do house martell next!!!!! They're one of a most interesting houses if not the most interesting
Words can not express how much I love the fact the robot is wearing a cloak. Fabulous.

Of course a book follow up would be sometime like 2054.. 😣
Hey CBG19, just want to let you know we're still watching these videos in 2021. Amazing. You outdid yourself with these.

It's funny that this video was unlisted because I did watch it the first time (this version that was uploaded not long after the House Baratheon video).
Great job with this video!
The music, images and editing in this part 23:55 give me chills, it's perfect!
Loved it! And comments are available. Yay!
Marry me comicbookgirl19!
Easy there, "Robert"!
Lol!
The battle for Lyana was 7 against 3. When it was over only Ned Stark and Howland Reed remained. Great video!
What is the song called that starts around 24:00?
You seriously upped your game with this one. You nailed it about Lyanna/Rhaegar except about their history. I think Lyanna fell for him during the tournament, IMHO. This was great.
What is the song from 23:54 to 25:09? It's beautiful. 8)
First vid of yours I have seen, thanks for the info you certainly have a nice way about yourself that makes a person want to listen and watch........beautiful eyes as well.
I'll probably watch the rest to catch up on what I didn't know, again thanks for the time you put in to this.
You have to do House Martel or House Tyrell PLEASE!!!!!!!
Condensing this into one video and adding some more video content was great. Made an all ready excellent video amazing! Good work :-D
name of the song on 24:08 ?
it's been awhile since the last season of GOT and even longer since i've read the books, so this was very refreshing. thanks alot! you're awesome !!
Ellis-van Creveld is a disease associated with dwarfism in the extremities and a malformation in the heart's atrium." www.as.wvu.edu/~kgarbutt/QuantGen/Gen535_2_2004/Inbreeding_Humans.htm
So inbreeding seems to cause a greater potential for producing dwarfism in your offspring. Aerys is the product of inbreeding, if he fathered Tyrion on Joanna, then this result could be expected. Inbreeding & dwarfism is common in most animal species. You can be certain that GRRM knows this.
Thought same think
Yes I read a theory in that a few months ago. It never crossed my mind and i wa really impressed with it. I do hope it is true!!! I love these theories, they're so in depth with reason and evidence supporting it all.
I like the theory that Jaime/Cersei are actually Targ offspring. It would make sense since the Targ are known for their incestuous relationships (hence why the mad king was "mad"). Their own mating would be a continuation of the family tradition. Making Tyrion the only true Lanester heir. Brilliant. Suck it Tywin.
MrDumcumpster so you're saying a Targaryen + a Lannister = a dwarf, which doesn't make any sense because not even a Targaryen + a Targaryen = a dwarf
It's incredible to see how right she was about the secret around Jon Snow years before the 7 Season!! Comic Book Girl, you're awesome!! 😘😘👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
She didn't create the theory, it was a popular theory amongst book fans before it was confirmed in the show. She does do excellent videos though
24.10 what's the name of this soundtrack?
This is an excellent summary of the entire speculation surrounding Jon Snow's parents.
I'll be very disappointed if the L+R=J theory doesn't turn out to be true. I think I would even lose interest in the whole series. I'm so obsessed with that theory and Rhaegar :P
Jon would still be a bastard, Rhaegar was married to Elia, he was not married to Lyanna.
You have no way of knowing whether Rhaegar married Lyanna or not.
This video is one of those insta-likes as soon as you open it.
Thanks for making it!!!
Crazy "third head of the dragon" theory SPOILER ALERT

Now i have a boner.
Tywin wouldn't have raised a child if he thought it was Aerys. Tywin doesn't take slights lightly, ask House Reyne or House Tarbeck
This series of videos helped me understand a lot of things, I wanted to read the books this year but I didn't have time because of college, now that I know more about the lore behind the show I enjoy it so much more, THANKS TEAM CBG19!!!
R+L=M
Rash Al Ghoul + Abraham Lincoln = Magic SpaceChicken!
lmfao
I dont get it :/
wait your talking about the guy who taught batman ninja right?
yea... thats r.. but wtf??
you might fun at parties.
fantastic video!! thank you so much for this series.
Holy shit! The theory with Jon Snow is f*cking AWESOOME!!!!
I really hope this's true. Thnx guys
Had to double check to make sure I liked this
I think Lyanna and Rhagar is based on Helen and Paris. They loved each other but couldn't be together, so Helen ran off with Paris, but her father thought she was kidnapped, so he declared war. They caused the Trojan War, much like how Lyanna and Rhagar caused Robert's Rebellion.
Do you actually know their story? After Paris was injured and he died, she went back to her husband.
YOU ARE JUST AWESOME!
I'm from Argentina, and I share every little drop of passion as you do.
Awesome, AWESOME!!!
Maybe someone already said this here, but I think the third head of the dragon is Tyrion.
Think about it, Tywin always says "you are not my son". He is probably the son of Aerys Targaryen and Joanna Lannister (Tywin's deceased wife)
Saar Levy This comment makes me sad because I remember a time when all the theories were exciting and the possibilities were shrouded in mystery.
hahahhaaha you the best I love you...glad to have have found this channel.. laughter and history all wrapped up into one
What is the music at 23:52? I want to find the track.
It's been 3 since, cbg19 doesn't love us
If you found out it would be awesome if you share :D
These are so freaking awesome !!! The music and everything, just everything :)
I mean... we NEED a movie about the Rebellion... the climax with Rickard and Brandon dying would be one of those scenes that make men shed the Manly Tear.
And then they could end it on a hopeful note with the whole Lyanna thing, because that's obviously a tale of love. That could be the whole underlying no-one-knows-the-truth-and-it-ruins-everything Love story.... pleasepleaseplease
Robert wins…the end.
‘The King Who Knelt’ is such a disrespectful nickname for a lad that saved the existence of all Northmen and their customs.
i miss ned stark soooo much :( :( :(
I miss Joffrey.
askaflamininja He's with me now.
Lord of the Light But he didn't burn away his sin?
askaflamininja It doesn't matter, there are more important things happening now.
poor Boromir always dies in everything. lol
Because she dumb as fuck
She could be, the red priestess lady needs to work to convince herself it is stannis. It is not clear who it actually is though.
She's not a prince, that's how.
It's all prophecy, so even characters in the book who think they know what they are talking about could be completely wrong.
thank you for this! awesome work! George's worldbuilding is beyond epic!!
Malte malte I'm sorry you got attacked Malte, I understood what you where trying to say and you have some good insight.
AWESOME stuff!!! Will definately stay busy until the next season begins !!
Damn whats that song 24:09
Did you find out?
Can you plz tell me this song
I need to know
Song or theme name????
@@fierceeagle2003 the background music which plays in the back
It feels sooo good hearing the theme song again.
MrPaddyR but if jon snow is the son of lyanna and rhaegar doesn't it still make him a bastard? or did the two secretly marry?
Anna Bone Still a bastard but has targaryan blood which is handy for multiple stuff.
Thanks. Now I miss Thrones real hard :(
And here I was hoping you were gonna keep making Thrones videos to fill the void until next season
Are words "totally", "like" and "awesome" 90% of her vocabulary?
Totally.
You forgot the f word
No, she says "fuck" a lot too.
Courtney Lynn
Now THAT....was clever! ;)
I like the way she talks. It's her style. Don't be such a grump.
Do more EPIC HISTORY segments for other Houses please!
I'm kind of new to GOF(JUST BINGE WATCHED THE ENTIRE 4 SERIES) but if Jon snow was half targaryen wouldn't he have white hair?
not all targys have white hair just the really pure ones. Thats why they do the sister wife thingy to preserve their blood and traits,
Not if he is 1/2 stark... The blonde hair comes from inbreeding.
not necessarily. Robert Baratheon comes from Targaryen blood as well.
***** Robert's grandmother was Targaryen. Not half, but still pretty Targ.
Roberts grandmother was a Targaryen, And the first Baratheon, Orys, was Aegon the Conqueror's bastard brother.
the way she describes Ned lying about jon is my favorite. "ooh weird I did this"
John Snow, Daenerys Targaryen and Tyrion Lannister 3 heads..
spoogeninja ... Um Tyrion isn't a fucking Targaryen? The other Targaryen that well now is dead was Aemon Targaryen, also known as "Master Aemon" in the Night's Watch
***** Who the fock is Griff?
***** The last Aegon was killed when he was a baby... The first Aegon died 300 years ago...
We Peace hmmm wish i had the non-book reading innocence again
***** (spoilers for the fifth book) it's canon, yeah. what isn't clear is whether he's actually the real aegon or not. griff and aegon himself clearly think it's true, but maybe he could be a pretender, or a distant targaryen relative... we don't really know
Very detailed. Thank you.
Informative video that robot is annoying af.
watching the 1st 3:35 minutes of this video is the 1st time I am completely understanding what came 1st and then what in the History of Westeros.
King Aerys II Targaryen THANK YOU! SOMEONE WHO SEES THE TRUTH, SPEAKS THEIR MIND AND ISN'T A RHAEGAR FAN-BOY
I still remember how this video blew my mind.
And how hyped I was for Jon lineage and how disappointed I was when they butchered the show.
Spoilers!:
According to George R.R.
So Jon can't be older than Daenerys...or is he?
Remember, Dany was born at sea while escaping.
If Jon just showed up with Ned then he SHOULD be older than Daenerys.
***** That's not correct. Dany was born on Dragon's stone, hence her namesake, Storm born.
Alright. I'm wrong. Sorry.
i find these videos much more interesting than watching the series or the ubiquitous super-hero movies.
Just my Theory, BenJen Stark becomes Coldhand
That's not YOUR theory it's everywhere
wow relax I wrote this after seeing this video and don't go like theory hunting to find out if everyone else thinks the same. So okay nice to know now other people think the same and let's move on...
the nights king is bran the builder lol
Awsome video cbg19!:D your videos are so great, i now understans the hole deal:) You are awsome, keep on making cool videos:D
Tom Hiddleston would be the perfect Rhaegar Targaryen
Wow... I see it too... Perfect casting that would be
+flawlesstracks
Noooooo.
That is good, but I like it better when they choose less well known actors so that you don't recognise them and get pulled out of the show. That is excluding Sean Bean, of course. He's the bomb.
Thanks for the video. Watching this makes more inspiration for my new novel
I don't know why I keep imagining Lyanna saying something like "Let's run away together, what's the worst it could happen?" ¬,¬ just a war Young lady... just a war
But now that you say it like that, the song of ice and fire wouldn't just be because of the song that Lyanna found so charming, if it was about them????
Terrell Allen that's very true, we probably will never know for sure what happened
I wish you continued this series! it's so good.
i thought she already did this.
read the description before commenting.
MrBrN197 WTF
MrBrN197 Lol replying to your own comment.
lol
She did. I've seen this one long before now.
I remember when I first saw this in 2014 and she explained the R+L=J theory, my mind was absolutely blown 🤯I can’t wait til it’s explained in the books.
Slap me. I'm staring places I shouldn't.
SharpWalkers I know that robot is pretty hot right?
I'm half way through watching this and loving every minute. I've read the books 3 times each and every other thing you're telling me is new information. Couldn't like this more.
