Whenever you do these concept videos i cover the right side of my screen before you switch to the Edmonton concepts just because Oilers concepts are either the best or worst for me, and i want to be surprised. I was disappointed this time.

Although the Canucks uniforms were decent (well done, Drew), It's always a miss when the Orca is used. I'm a Canucks fan and have a hatred for the Orca and what it represents. The majority (not all) of the fanbase wants to go back to the Flying Skate.
With that said, there are some fantastic ones in this collection.
The 'PIT' on the second Penguins alt throws me, since normally Pittsburgh is colloquially shortened to 'Pitt'. However, that would encroach on the University of Pittsburgh's branding, since their sports teams are well-known as the Pitt Panthers. Would 'PENS' work in place of 'PIT"?
As a Pens fan, if we went with a city name on front.. why not a diagonal BURGH? Marketing as "THE BURGH", much as Golden State Warriors jerseys occasional use "THE CITY"....

@@fyrf0x8910 hahaha shit. I live here in Phoenix and yeah it’s a brutal market for hockey and the Coyotes but I’m pretty sure they have a 30 year no movement agreement. I’m from Chicago so I’m a Hawks fan but living here in AZ I still pay attention to how the Yotes are doing. It’s an interesting franchise to say the least haha
The "Houston Apollos" design IS the Coyotes concept as a relocated franchise. I prefer Houston as a independent expansion team
9:29, as a rangers fan, I think the LA kings need to permanently wear these uniforms since purple and yellow are royalty colors and match the lakers.

Hate to tell ya but the Yotes will still be around in 2030. Having said that, the Avs alternate one (the darker one) I think was my favorite, so many of these overall are stunning concepts.

My favourite jersey of them all is the dark alternate Avalanche. Really modern and clean! Love it ! The best group of four jersey are the Winnipeg Jets, Minnesota Wild and Colorado Avalanche.
Agree with you on the dark alternate for the Avs. Notice that it is a greenish color. This was inspired by the Colorado license plates. The Colorado Rockies baseball team also did something similar last year. But the hockey version is way more tastefully done, great use of color.

@@ivanooze1049 ----- The one on the left is an odd shade of blue that has green mixed into it. That's the one with the mountain logo. The one on the right with the "C" logo, is more of a straight blue.

Sorry to burst the bubble of all the northern hockey snobs and gatekeepers but the Coyotes are NEVER leaving Arizona. We've been in the desert almost 30 years and we'll be here for longer still. Hockey belongs in the desert. That new arena is getting voted through and Arizona will enter a new era of local popularity and success once their future is 100% secure in the East Valley.
If hockey can thrive in Vegas, Tampa, Miami, SoCal and Dallas, it belongs in Arizona.
Cry about relocation all you want. We've heard it all before and survived every time. We're not leaving. We belong.

Do you think the players and coaches are all gonna go out there and play like shit to lose on purpose? Nah. Players don't tank. Coaches don't tank. The front office may make moves to tank behind the scenes to handicap their team and make them "worse" but you'll never ever see an NHL player go out there and try to lose. Far too much pride and competitive spirit.
The Coyotes traded away Chychrun, Gostisbehere, Bjugstad, Stecher and a whole lot more for picks and players too young and inexperienced to take to the NHL ice and they're practically left with half an AHL roster, but just like the team itself the players who remain are too stubborn to go quietly into the night.
Players don't tank. GM's and owners tank. Unfortunately one of the few things a GM cant control is a players hunger to win once he steps out onto the ice.

The jets set was incredible in my opinion. I really liked the rebranded logo. Also the different sharks logo was nice. Overall my favourite jersey was the nyc lights one

Surprisingly my favorites were the Lightning home/away and then all 4 of the Jets!!

I'm surprised the Hurricanes alternate design wasn't Charlotte colors. If I were to do an alternate concept it would be those Stadium Series Uniforms in Purple and Teal
Couple things. #1, the Flyers would never do those alternate concepts when it comes to the logo. They've NEVER fudged with the logo except to add the modern looking silver ball in the middle of their '02-'07 alternate jersey logo. If they did a Quakers inspired look they'd still use the regular logo. #2, the first Houston Apollos uniforms harken back to the Aeros with the colors. Speaking of colors, the Devils need to go back to the forest green as their secondary color. And the Kings concept, the road unis need to be yellow.

I love the Kraken alternate. I think the Kraken can definitely pull off a gradient - their current away jersey is basically implying a gradient in the arms, after all. Their whole color scheme is based off of the gradient from the sky to sea to depths. I like that a lot. I also can’t wait until the Kraken have a jersey with the anchor on the front!
I know you don’t like brown uniforms, but I think that Boston is one of those teams where brown could, and does work.

A lot of the numbers seem moved up closer to the shoulder and allow for space for an armband look as opposed to forearm with the secondary color that many jerseys currently have. Not sure I like it one way or another. Generally not fan of gradient for standard home and away but is fine for stadium jerseys. Some suggestions: try the kraken wordmark as a diagonal will probably look like the Vegas RR 2.0. keep the kraken font. Would like more contrast between the anchor logo and the jersey. Might be interesting to see a ship steering wheel with hockey sticks for pokes with the anchor logo or S in the middle. I like the new buffalo logo but the B and sword that is in the goat head jersey as a should patch would also be nice as a main logo. Also instead of PIT.... I would try PITT as that's how it's usually abbreviated.

The NHL needs to implement more neon accents in their jersey’s, they should be more creative, as of now, overall, they are slightly on the dull side

I'm a Jets fan, and I really love the whiteout alternate concept! I think our branding department has been way too safe. They went big with a fresh start brand when the team first moved here, but ever since then (aside from RRs) we've only gotten carbon-copy throwbacks and those super boring aviator alternates. I think we need a brand new idea like this one to add to our history instead of just going back to it.

I love the regular Sabres jerseys they have now. The logo is perfect and royal blue is way better than when they had it as navy. I hope they keep them as regulars for a very long time.
I love the Buffalo Sabres throwback uniform… I would definitely buy the jersey if they produced them… This set of concepts are great. Maybe I’ll rank the whole set later.
