Today I share with you the idioms that I use daily!! As you know - I love idioms, so this was an absolute joy to make! I also tell you about my wedding planning process (yes, I got engaged on valentine's day - I'm so over the moon!)
This is DAILY English used for efficient and natural communication - not always something you can learn in a text book!

I do like the best for today’s lesson as “through thick & thin” which I have never heard before. Giving you a sample is that my closest friend spends his time for me in terms of through thick & thin and vice & versa too..! Congrats Lovely ! ❤ That's fantastic news. Knowing idioms is very important if somebody wants to become fluent. I also like finding out their origin. That's the nerd in me. Not about an idiom now, but a while ago I went to a place in Nottinghamshire where they make artisan food. I absolutely love cheese. I found out that the old Anglo-Saxon word for Stilton was Stichelton. The pronunciation is not what some of you may think. I was in heaven trying some cheese and learning new things. Happy Sunday!

thank you so much for this amazing video , I love idioms so much and to be honest I use them very often even though I am not a native speaker when I use idioms some people do not get it and I explain them it is actually thrilling to talk about idioms. I often use 'there is blessing in disguise' 'when one door closes , another one will open' 'i never knew i would see him again it was out of blue' 'when life gives you lemons, make lemonade' 'once in a blue moon' these are my favs:) and kath would you please make a video about english literature ?I love when you talk about poetry and famous english writers. so much love from turkey have a lovely day 🥰

The idiom that most struck me was ''Through the thick and thin'' which in (Spaniard) Spanish is ''estar con alguien a las duras y las maduras'' or identically ''estar con alguien en las buenas y en las malas''.

I really love idioms. "It's in the bag" was the only new one for me. I loved the explanation. British accents are very beautiful. There are some which are very difficult tho, like Doncaster accent, for example.
