- If you’ve ever bought an old car and fought problem after problem trying to simply enjoy it when the weather is nice, you’ll be able to relate to this video. Thanks to my brother, and Mark at A1 Auto Parts, we took Billy’s 350ci small block & PowerGlide equipped Chevy II and transformed a DUD that would barely move itself onto a trailer, to a very smooth, enjoyable daily driver by systematically diagnosing one problem at a time. Take 30 minutes, watch this video regardless if you’re into old cars or not. We spent less than $60 to make this old car run like it should!

Man do I miss those old go to speed shops . We had one back east called Knisleys performance old John was the man he got you fixed up with any and everything you needed . I would just set down there for an hour and listen to the stories him and Mr Jack Brant would tell . Rest In PEACE John I miss you bud .
USed to have a couple small ones..then there was PAW where I was a regular every week....and long ago Super shops in Van nuys. All gone now. I prefer actually going into a store than ordering online its a better experience
Mark is a treasure and sometimes I feel sorry for him having to get kicked in the nuts by Bucko...glad he is getting some revenge,good humor...great video,and I love this car...can't wait to see her dialed in...work your magic A Team...

That Chevy2 was what a lot of guys dailied and took to HS in the 70s and 80s
My Dad traded his high mileage 1964 Falcon futura for a 66 Chevy 2 SS with small block and a four speed manual. My Dad was 5'6" and liked smaller cars. Go fast and be safe. God bless you and your family and friends.

I like the way that old nova looks with tint on windows the wheels look better than crager ss wolud look on it they match the black on windows i would fix the turn signals and heater and put a good sound system in it and cruise the hell out of it love the color i belive its marina blue they used a lot of in the middle 60s classic old chevys have set the bar for all of us old hot rodders

My buddy has a 63 that was his grandfathers but he has zero motivation to get it going again. He’s been toying around with the idea of selling it but I just have too many irons in the fire. Always liked these cars for sure.

Thanks for the great videos Bill !! I love how you go through each problem in detail. From Billy’s video on the S10 when you were talking about not knowing how to tune fuel injection. I bet you would be a great tuner given the chance. You and Billy know in detail how to tune a engine or suspension depending on conditions. You guys are full of knowledge and I have learned a lot. I’m not so afraid of carburetors anymore lol
Just an FYI, the S is silent in both Des and Moines. And if you could put a size chart on the website for the clothes would be nice.

The nova brings back memories me buddy had a 64 2 door with a 350 and a matching 64 4 door straight six Chevy 2 back when we in high school in the mid 90’s
