If you have not yet done a short trip to the National Museums of Kenya & Snake Park, please do schedule it soonest. They are within Nairobi so require little planning to visit; can actually do it as a weekend tour (i believe they still open on weekends). In addition, would be great to book a Nairobi City Tour with a local safari company to give you a half day to full day tour of Nairobi City and its environs - this really helps you to get oriented with the main points and landmarks in the city quickly. I try to o this in every new City i visit, and it works great each and every time. We have previously done Kenya tours/safaris in Nairobi, Maasai Mara, Nakuru and Amboseli with Njewa Safaris Tours & Travel Ltd; a family owned business run by the couple owners - we were absolutely delighted with their services; the couple also have very reliable car hire services. We have also heard great feedback from those who have done local and international safaris with Bonfire Adventures and Events.
