A few years ago I needed to do a large restore. BackBlaze sent me a hard drive in a few days. I restored the files and sent it back. In the end it did not cost me any extra money. I trust BackBlaze.
Great video Wayne! At 6:30, you mention how your local backup works where your external drive automatically powers up at 2:55 AM and gets mounted, local backup takes place to that drive, then drive is unmounted and drive powers down. If you don't mind, could you share how you automated all that? Thanks!
glad you found that. I am working on a video that walks through the entire process including how I setup Carbon Copy Cloner. Hopefully can finish it up in the next few weeks, although looks like I have a knee replacement surgery in the near future which might slow me down for a little while.
I tried Backblaze years ago and it was so slow, I cancelled the trial subscription. Fast forward to this year when I now have 1 gig fiber, I may have to try it again.
Saved me. Stretched her legs by not allowing to throttle and maxed out threads. Thank you White Fox.

Nice! Appreciate the feedback for someone who has actually had to use the full restore option.
This is the most detailed and easy to understand review of online backup that I have ever watched. Thank you

I found your previous video that talks more about this: ua-cam.com/video/2ZN5HTDsqBY/v-deo.html

@@cwaynefox cool I will watch out for that...good luck and have a fast recovery with the knee replacement.
One year version history on BackBlaze no longer costs extra.

If you do, let me know how the initial upload process goes for you!
