- Shot a little fun project with Thea on 16mm film. We only had a couple of rolls of film so it went by pretty fast. We actually ran out of film before finishing the dance sequences

I can easily imagine this to be an ad for some posh French perfume. By the way, amazingly smooth camera work. Assuming that the Krasnogorsk/Meteor setup is not quite lightweight, it is a hell of a job.

I did apply a little bit of post stabilization, but only to remove a bit of the jitter.
@@somnangvann I also like how this Krasnogorsk is not a modified, Super-16 version. It gives you even more retro vibe. I once had considered to modify my Krasnogorsk’s film gate, but decided against it.

4k ? Prores or 1080
Thank you! It was 2k prores 422. The lab I used offered 4k scans too, but at a bit higher cost. I didn't really need the 4k version

How many frames per second does this type of camera record? What possibilities are there of making slow motion with this camera?
K3 i believe shoots between 8 to 48fps (not exactly sure). You can shoot at the slowest which is 48fps I believe, but keep in mind... at regular 24fps, you're only getting about 2.5min of film time with a 100ft roll

Is this a hand-crank camera or a spring crank? Is there any way to connect a crystal sync motor?
This is spring loaded but needs to be wound by hand. I think we got about 20sec before having to wind again.
I saw somewhere there is a way to connect a crystal sync motor, but I’ve never done it
