I am actually a suicidal in my recovery, this is no shit, i was even in a asylum, Magalhães Lemos in Portugal.
It's kinda weird because when you are in that case you almost don't feel anything besides the constant pain you have everyday so I kinda think it's a result of Mental Ilness, Hopelessness, kind of that "giving up" feeling because you just can't take it anymore and i do also think it is a act of bravery
But hey ! You all suicidal people reading this post, after 9 suicide attempts and a ton of wrist and arm cutting i can proudly say it gets better if you have the right people around you, the medical treatment (yes, pills do work) and the biggest will to get better.
It takes very hard work to recover but i do believe it is worthy
And remember, if you are dead you can't watch anymore Farvann :)
Glad to read about the recovery! If anything, I'd be upset with myself for not being "brave enough" to act on suicidal thoughts, but I never felt brave in the moment. There are a multitude of contradicting emotions in moments like that, being in that state of mind is nothing short of dread. Anyway, I'm glad one more person on this earth didn't succumb to that way of thought, much love.\m/

Enjoy, even you were bad inside, forgive yourself but continue here with all of us. So as a girl I feel very priviledged right now, but I saw two other questions I would like answered in the comments. One regarding if you are into litterature, which interests me a lot since I have noticed a lot of metal fans enjoy reading. The other regarding self-harm which sadly is quite a common practice and the rate is increasing. I think it would be good to raise awareness and maybe have a bit on your opinion or experience with it. Looking forward to the next Q&A.

@@marniestewart once there was a wall that divided the eastern part from the western part of Germany. That was after the Second World War. East Germany was part of the East Block (Sovjet Union, Vietnam, Chechoslovakia ...) and West Germany was part of the West Block (USA, UK, France...).
Germany is not divided anymore but there are still some differences.
Yeah I'd have to disagree about Carach Angren. I've been a fan of their stuff since the "This Is No Fairytale" era and even though they're not traditional black metal, they make great riffs and have some of the better symphonic melodies of almost any Metal band. I've seen them Live with Vale of Pnaths and Wolfheart and they put on a fucking great show. I think stuff started going more downhill for them since TINF but they still have some really cool shit that's worth checking out.
same, Carach Angren aren't exactly Black Metal they're more Symphonic metal and horror metal with Black Metal elements.
@@v0dka885 I mean Lamendam definitely sounds like just symphonic black metal. I refuse to call anything "horror metal" because, like, it's fucking metal. Everything in metal since the 70s has been somewhat horrifying in one way or another. Carach Angren are still black metal, just with spooky strings added lol.
I love them. Their storytelling ability is top notch.
Whole reason I clicked was to see if he was saying they were the worst thanks to thumbnail. They were what got me into black metal. Like genuinely into it, because most just didn't do it for me. They talk about things instead of recycling the same shit. Anyway I'd have to agree with OP, absolutely love them. It's rare I like an entire album and I'm obsessed with This Is No Fairytale.
I'm not a huge black metal fan. I prefer the symphonic subgenre of black metal and Carach Angren definitely fits that bill for me. I also really like Dark Mirror ov Tragedy.

What inspires you to write the lyrics of your Durbatuluk songs? What kind of mood are you in while writing? Are you a perfectionist when it comes to your songs?

Да как бы в подобного рода видосах все понятно. Достаточно понимать тему видео, услышать пару знакомых фраз и контекст понят. Однако на родном языке смотреть проще, особенно когда параллельно что-то делаешь.

What is it that you dislike about Carach Angren? They're not exactly "black metal" and they've often said they claim to be "horror metal" despite the obvious inspiration. I think a lot of people listen to them with the intention to hear traditional black metal and are disappointed. But I personally love the bone chilling symphonic orchestral ghostliness in their music. I'm also curious if you've listened to their album "Where the corpses sink forever". It's good stuff man. I'm not sure what song(s) you checked out initially, but I highly recommend giving them another shot and telling me what you think.
It's just the story behind it. I don't really know the band actually. I'm just poking fun on things.
The guitar playing and time changes are great too, also their original drummer is kickass
Their latest album is awful though. It's way too silly and circus'y and the reliance on cooky, theatrical effects such as maniacal laughter, tinkering, clanking wheels and what not would probably work if it was a movie or a live show, but on the record it's way too loud and takes focus. It's basically "If Disney owned Dimmu Borgir".
Their first two or three albums are better, they maintain a balance, the last two have had the story-telling aspect and sound effects take pver too much over the music.
