I just noticed when the game’s intensity goes high, KAT loses focus and making bad decisions, rushing things up, instead of calming himself. This is happening multiple times in his career. He should learn to be more focus and controlled basketball when this kind of situation happens. I still believe that KAT is still very important in this team.
I’m upset at how good this channel is - I can’t afford this level of NBA obsession 😭 This is EVERYTHING the mainstream sports media refuses to give people who really just love the game, from an NBA perspective. All City has done it again! Congrats and continued success, felllas! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Largely a great take on the wolves and Ant, but one thing I think you guys missed the mark on a little bit is his leadership. When he interviewed after that game, he differed all the credit for that win to McDaniels. He made sure everyone recognized that JMac shut his guy down in the 4th and nailed huge, game-winning shots. Moreover, that 3 that got JMac going came off an Ant dime and after he nailed it, Ant was immediately clapping his support and excitement for his teammate. Sure he offered the anecdote about his back and forth with Tatum (which I believe has the makings of a burgeoning rivalry for the next decade... a la *cough* magic/bird), but this kid is 22 years old and putting his team on his back in every single way he's able. It's downright laughable how people talked about his drive and maturity coming out of college. He's def got a lot of room for polish, but one could make a legit argument that he's the most driven/emotionally mature player in the entire league... at 22 years old. Hell, he even gave Finch credit and expressed his appreciation for him "making" Ant come and workout in MN during the off-season.
Legs, I think you were wrong when you were saying that Ant is ticked off when the talk is about someone else after the game. When KAT or anyone else has a big game he is the first to be singing their praise. He just wants to win
I remember the 2020 draft and Scouts and media were just ripping Anthony Edwards apart calling him the worst number one pick since Bennett. What an absolutely wrong take. He's gonna be an MVP candidate and all defense guy year in year out
Have you guys been watching any actual wolves game this year or is this the first one? Ant has been a fantastic passer this year, and specifically on drive & kick/dish possessions.
Hard to watch every single game from every single team… pretty sure the conversation was based mainly on that Celtics game, and their overall thoughts on Ant from the games they have seen.
They definitely are. Nugs fan here, they were the toughest out in the playoffs. They are going to be absolute killers. I still think they need to move KAT for OG.
Yes because Denver is a better matchup for us with Gordon who doesn’t shoot outside And allow Rudy to stay inside. Murray And Jokic were amazing but for me you won that serie with your bench. You had such a better rotation last year
Kat has been great on defense and play making this year. And "I know what ant will be"? Ant will be the single best player in the league way sooner than people expect.
Ant is great, but catching up to the level of guys like Luka or Shai is just unrealistic, he simply misses the BBIQ for that and that is very hard to learn. Top 15 player in the league this year, but best in the league is absurd.
KAT just needs to mature asap. He commits dumb offensive fouls and then gets frustrated and commits turnovers in back to back plays. Wolves lose last night if Kat does not foul out. Its all in his head and he needs to address it. He is a great player when focused. He also needs to stop yelling at refs every other shot. You can clearly hear him yelling "oh my god" on the broadcasts.
He is a clown lately when he fouls someone and has that cheesy grin on his face because he will hook the other players arm an knows he got busted. His gimmicks aren’t working anymore so then he turns into a bowling ball and commits the dumbest offensive fouls
Wolves remind me of the nuggets the past couple years. Constantly overlooked but undeniable tallent. They're going to be a problem. Tim Connelly might know what he's doing.
Remember Jabberwocky? John Cleese is trying to get into the city and they stop him at the gates. The two guards give him one more chance. They yell out 'Show us your legs!' He drops his pants in front of everybody. The guards turn to each other and say 'Nah'.
Jokic is the god king of basketball..I enjoyed the wolves segment even as a Nuggets fan..I love Tim Connelly and I'm happy he's put together a team that will finally gel .but Jokic is why we will beat them in 6 games.
It might come time to move Kat eventually. This team is showing they can absolutely win without him if anything he’s holding them back a bit. Unless he starts to figure out his role I say we get the best haul we can for him that can possibly take us over the top
You forgot the part where he slid the chair after he missed the shot and the woman who works for Denver tried turning it into a lawsuit and criminal charges against Edwards. Talk about sore winners.
Did anything come of that? No. Did you even watch any of the 20 angles of it, cause to me and LOTS of other people he didn’t even hit the person. Talk about just hating to hate 😂 I’m glad I’m not that sad of a human
When he came in the plandemic was going on so he didnt even have a chance to get ready for the season and the season was cut 10 games short to 72 games. After the Allstar break as a rookie he scored 22-23ppg the rest of that season. He didnt even start at the beginning of the season under Ryan Saunders.
Love my wolves 🐺
McDaniels is key to the Wolves getting to the 2nd round or farther

Gotta give a lot of credit to Rudy. He's been fantastic this season so far.
As Timberwolves fan, I just say: "Thanks Gersson Rosas" (he and his team selected those 3 guys).
Yup, if Rosa's wasn't so horny who knows what he could have accomplished with this team
Best guy we ever had!
Antman, Jaden Mcdaniels, Naz Reid. Young core ready to take over 🔥
Amen
Dude this show and the commentary is excellent I feel like I learned so much.
Wolves up; it’s electric in Target Center these days.
Glad you enjoy it!

Great deep dive into the Wovs.
Had no idea Legs had his own podcast, subbed right away we locked in now!
Great breakdown on the wolves, we have a great team

Who can watch them all.
I just noticed that recently. He’s unselfish

Don’t worry though, I’m sure MNST is Loading
@23jrza he literally did it in the Celtics game though. I can specifically remember him kicking it out to mcdaniels for a huge 3
They definitely are. Nugs fan here, they were the toughest out in the playoffs. They are going to be absolute killers. I still think they need to move KAT for OG.
And we didn’t have mcdaniels that series. Not saying we would’ve won with him but it deff would’ve been more interesting

Don't think you understand what best player in the league entails

Nice breakdown
Well the wolves have Michael Jordan running around out there for them from time to time it’s hard.
For algorithm 🔥, great stuff!
Ant is 22 btw
Ant is the Future.

The wolves can beat golden State, they did 6 times of ten in the last two years. Curry really struggled against Edwards, McDanials.
kat is good when he's gone we will regret it

Love the in depth analysis without the “comedy routines” of some of your competitors.
Look for kat to crush against the small ball teams.
Part of what’s made them better - Jadens shooting can’t keep up like this. Might not matter too much, but he’s not going to shoot 50% from three
Yea but Kat has been shit shooting so it’ll just even out
I’m so bummed the Nuggets didn’t trade for Naz Reid last year. Seems like he was available.
Nope
Lfg timber wolves

Jaden and Thybulle are both Washington Huskies. Jaden can score 20 a game tho.
