Matt and Andrea: I tend to get long winded so excuse me. We purchased our 2022 Winnebago Vista 29V after watching your channel for two years and seeing you review the vista and Adventure a couple of times.
We’ve owned 8 Motorhomes over 35 years. Our two favorites were Winnebago products. I agree they are more vanilla than most others and they don’t change much. But your reviews told me their quality was excellent and you weren’t wrong.
12 months of ownership, 19,000 miles, using it 60% of the time across 32 states and the quality has been great. Sure, we’ve had some issues, nearly all extremely minor and none that left us unable to use it.
Maybe by not changing much they keep the quality up there.
This Vista 27 is a pretty good layout for a short coach.
Good layout
Excellent Cargo carrying
Nice bathroom layout
Nice sofa
Bad:
Folding bed
Give me porcelain
Sticker Shock. That is a ridiculous price for this small coach.
Thank you for another good video
Overall very nice for a small class A. While I do like the King size bed, don’t like that it has to fold up with the slide in. I agree the layout is great. The MSRP is outrageous.
MSRP is a wee bit too much
Look at the older Winnebago Vista videos from 2+ yrs ago. =Probably selling for $100k. =The prices now are extremely high, but costs/wages are higher. Newer electronics add $5k from just 2yrs ago.
I love the wet bay! They are still off base on the MSRP! This unit last year would have been way less! Love the TV placement! I know everyone likes the compressor refrigerator but.... I prefer the two or 3 way refrigerators!! Not a fan of the flip up bed, they should do a north south on a slide out. All and all I like the layout of this unit. Great review. Hope your fingers are ok Andrea!!
I know this isn't about the motor home, but Andrea looks fabulous today.
🤣thanks Karen
The msrp is outrageous. I love the size, the theater seats, the TV placement. Don't like: no counter room, put in sink covers and a flip out extension on the counter. Love the king size bed but would never do a flip bed. No usb's in the bedroom? The bathroom is a nice size. Like the outside TV. One door makes me little nervous, anyone else?
I was raised on boats, and understand your concern. Good friends of my family were killed in a boat fire because they couldn’t escape through the ONE entrance to the main cabin. I do know there is always an escape window in an RV, but not everyone can climb out of them.
@@janicesullivan8942 yes, I think the drivers door should open. I don't know why the class A's rely on the one door.
I love Matt ! Lol so blunt and honest. Truly the only salesman I’ve ever liked
Matt, Neutral is good because you can spruce it up with accents, like pillows, bedding, and small accessories.
Great video guys.
Good entry level Winnebago.
Andrea is one of the toughest women.
Having her fingers stepped on yet able to carry forth with style and grace. Tougher than some female athletes.
The manufactured inflation is absurd. The MSRPs these last few months are completely shameful. No wonder sales are hitting rock bottom.
Another great video review; however, the MSRP for this unit is totally outrageous and should be around $130K or so.
Hi Matt and Adriana
I love that small winnabago
I agree with Andrea! Elegance and simplicity is a feature!
Love the sofa, bed and kitchen not crazy about the toilet, bland design or boring fixtures. Worth 85k 😷😌😅
Hi Matt and Andrea, thank you for showing us this unit. Overall , I’m not a Class A fan, but I do like this unit! I just wish they would stop using the dark brown colors and add more lithium batteries. Thank you!
Another great video, guys! Hope Andrea's fingers are okay. I like the layout of the motor home and the outside storage. The bed should have a headboard so you don't have to lay against the window to watch TV. Didn't see if there were USBs near the bed, theater seating, or dinette (would be nice). It looked like the propane unit was exposed to the road underneath the motorhome? ( Not sure I like that). In all, I would have guessed this motor home to cost around $140-150k; certainly not almost $200k.
In sure all the prices will be dropping like all get out. Regular people can’t be buying these or any other campers with these prices.,nothing against this channel but come on., RVs are not necessities., and they have priced out the average persons who used to be most of the buyers.
I hope your fingers are not too squished. Such a trooper. Like that slides are one one side. Also cargo capacity fits the size and F series chassis. Dislike, same “face” for the last couple model years. Dislike that it is a mid entry and there is no doggie 🐶 window. Andrea’s voice cracking throughout the video. Hope Matt does more to help your fingers get better. Thank you for sharing and have a great day.
Thank you for saying, “We do have”, it sounds so much better.
Matt always finds the best to review....really like this one...size , Floorplan, interior color scheme...I think I will find a winnebago dealer near me tomorrow morning
Bathroom needs a medicine cabinet over sink, I agree with Matt...the toilet should have been porcelain. Other than those 2 things, it's a really nice motorhome.
I'd like a manufacturer cost to build vs. The MSRP. The profit margin seems a bit inflated in relation to fit and finish.
Despite the plastic toilet, I do like this RV. Matt, I hope Andrea's fingers will get better.
Thank you 🙏
You can add your own accessories to get colors and textures. They don’t limit you
Andrea couldn't reach the work station/ flip table at the passenger seat. I think all you would need to do is move the seat forward and you'd probably be fine. Also, with the seat moved up a bit, you'd be able to recline some.
No PPP!!! This unit is so great. Fantastic layout. I wish it had more modern colors and materials on the sofas and cupboards.
At least now they have the larger gen and 2 ac deal in there...a huge problem with older ones. You two are so fun!! Take care of fingers. I think a medicine cabinet in small bath..some kind of new larger mirror cabinet and medium shampoo and large tum bottle ( you know those extra coffees and camp burgers) size shelves with a little bar across to hold all things in would be wonderful with the porcelain potties.
Matt, Justin Wilson did a Cajun cooking show on public TV. He liked to add certain things to his food - onions, several seasonings - any of which would make the dish "Mo' Bettah!" Just change the pronunciation!
I loved listening to the way he talked and his stories he used to tell
“Forget about” the RV.. Matt and Andrea are the best in the biz.. you guys have kindness, humor, class and humility! We are all Fans of you both!
Drawers under the dinette. Get with it Winnie... lol
Hi Matt and Andrea! Love the valances and the bathroom size and king bed but not that it flips with slides. I love the size it is for an Rv. The tv placement. I dislike no counter space, no usbs in bedroom and cabinets need to be a little lighter color. It’s a great Rv. Thank you Matt and Andrea great job! 👍
Matt. Let it go....Andrea has spoken on the valences...😂. A ton of storage under seats.
Honestly I wouldn't watch if I didn't think you were giving your honest opinion!
Those reclining theatre seats are nice except there is no head rest so what is the point you have to hold your head up.
The ‘drab’ interior doesn’t bother me - when you travel it’s the SCENERY that’s the star! I like the angled kitchen work area - funny that there was no sink cover to make up for the extremely limited work area.
Hey everyone I’m Ryan and I’m super excited today, I just received my “Give me porcelain or give me death” shirt today!!!!!
I feel for you Andrea. I was just helping my husband collapse our new U-Step ladder and got my hand caught in between runs and cut my wedding ring into my finger. Won't do that again!!! We just bought a 2023 Nexus Triumph 30TSC that didn't have a ladder so we opted for the U-Step. Love your videos! First thing we did was put piano hinges on the seats in the booth to access the storage!
seems like a good place to hide the home protection ar's under the dinette table! might just not be deep enough
Awesome for a small moterhome-inside and out!Take care!🎺🎺🎺🎺!
We just bought a 2022 vista 31b. We love it and had a great experience. I do think it’s a little too brown on the inside, but we really love all the features it had. I wish the wallpaper was white and I wish the countertops were white as well. I LOVE the way the outside looks and am glad they didn’t change it before we bought it. We can do without the outside tv, but it comes along with the outside kitchen. Wish the TV part was optional as we will never use the tv. Also wish there was a medicine cabinet in the bathroom for added storage instead of just a mirror.
Actually I can live without any valences . Watched 5 to go take theirs out and there is so much more window . It makes things brighter inside.
Interesting unit overall but not sure where it fits .:. In general, a longer model run helps with quality .:. chassis features 👍🏽 ccc allows travelling with potable water (boondock bonus), good generator, 2 AC, levelling, in a shorter package; cockpit area 👍🏽 well finished; king beds 👍🏽 rule .:. MSRP is up there 👎🏽 higher end C’s with more amenities sell for less $; Sleeps 5, eats 5 (swivel pedestal) 👎🏽 doesn’t seat 5 - option a sofa; bed issues 👎🏽 overhead bunk low capacity, can’t use king with slide in .:. I’m looking for a C, and other than cockpit area, there isn’t anything here pulling me into an A .:. Thanks for showing it M/A
I like the storage, recliner and booth dinette, king size bed. Dislike bathroom 🚽, flip bed, vents on the floors. Would like it better if it had a tilt bed instead lighter cabinets.
Possible issues with kitchen slide ? Reg small slides are a pain, uhhhow does the plumbing hookup? On a slide
Too funny, they dropped the "E" designation on the model 3 years ago, LOL. I just regret not buying one when they were $100K cheaper ... in a year or two there will be hundreds of them on FB Marketplace, LOL.
👍👍Thank you! Thank you!🔶️🔸️🤍🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🤍🔸️🔶️
Midwestern bland is Winnebego's M.O., and very functional.
I love Winnebago. Most of the coach is made in-house. Storage under dinette and great quality cabinets.
I think the tv between the two small windows would be a deal breaker for me. The valences go with everything because they don’t match anything. This coach isn’t neutral…..it’s monochromatic. Lol.
My new favorite dream coach is actually 2021 Winnebago Adventurer 30T. Love the freestanding dinette/chairs/work/televator/table and the clean monochromatic decor.
I did compare both when we finally decided to buy the vista 27 p and thank god. I have an exterior tv and not for the 30t!! And I hate the split 30t bathroom…also I love my large standard dining booth and size of rv is amazing. Also super cheap on gas!!! Will probably keep this one for 10-15 years since it’s tough to beat the quality for price and good old reliable V10!!! Wouldn’t change it for the world. I changed the bed with a full split king electric bed! Wow. Also put a super catalytic converter steel welded cage protector directly from Ford dealership!!! Wow.
Love it. Hey I haven't seen a video of 2022 vibe 25rk yet. I bought it wasn't happy because bath room was hard to enter because of tight fit we had someone sleep on sofa that it fold in full size. I trade it and lost money on trade 11,000 loss but going buy to 2022 jayco flight 28bhs I love the the capability of cargo and room.
Thank you from munster IN.
The driver and passenger seats look like they lack a headrest 🤔
Would you please buy some mics already. Great vid - keep doing what you do!
Beautiful unit. Would love to have it. Plastic toilet is a big disappointment. Also MSRP is outrageous!
What's with the ladder when the coaches have one.
Not RV related but, where does Andrea get her dresses! Love them. Love your videos.
Thanks Sheena 🤗I shop everywhere.I love Trina Turk so I’m always looking for her sales.
Great review as always, but way too much money.
~ Stay healthy, happy, and safe. ~
You don’t need two people to access a roof if you have an attached ladder🤔
I love the neutral color. I need more kitchen counter space. Under the stove top put three drawers, two small, one large. And, where the drawers are next to the sink (prefer single basin, farmhouse sink), put in a counter extension. Lastly, I wouldn't pay that price for that small of a Class A... Come on Winnebago.
Oh man, you’re in Albany again!
I love the dark colors. Not a fan of the farmhouse white. Not a fan of the fold up king bed. We just purchased a Vista 35u. Love it. Love the furniture. It's so comfy. RV one install a tall porcelain toilet for us. The dash is a great area for a work station.
This floor plan is a.little small for us but the 35u is awesome
I know it's a little late now; but never hold onto the rungs of a ladder below someone.
I really like the layout, but I agree with Matt, the color scheme is drab. Big plus for the outdoor storage doors being both side swinging and slam latch
Would you consider Thor Axis/ACE Class A? I think they come in a 24ft. (I'd love a short class A)
I think they're technically a class C because of the chassis.
I thought the Via was the smallest class A from Winnebago. But I do like this one.
That’s a nice one.
Hope Andreas fingers are okay!
🤗
Matt you do not deserve Andrea. You step on her and think it's funny. She's a saint
The MSRP is insane.
Very nice Class A and I like the floor plan. MSRP is out of reach for me if I were in the market for a RV.
how do you change the propane when its like that?
Tank is permanently installed. Drive to a place where they fill tanks.
@@louportelli o so basically it's like getting gas ⛽ .. do a lot of places do that? I never have done that it propane exchanges
0:13 the diagram shows the seats swivel even tho they don’t
They do.
For 28feet wow
Nice RV
Andrea and Matt what do u suggest to learn to drive an rv?
I don't understand the issue you have with the appearance of this coach. That Kia renta-car you drove to the filming hasn't changed in ten years, but they still sell thousands of them every year. If Winnebago had to redesign the outside of their coach every year, the price would be even higher! I do like the outside storage and I'm really happy they didn't inflict an outside TV on this model. The inside is kind of dark. I'd prefer lighter colors for the cabinets and the furniture. I HATE the bed that has to fold up and can't be used with the slides pulled in.
Once I see the fold up bed its over
One solar panel? Must be old school batteries too. Don't like a window as a headboard in bed, and you can't even use the bed without the slide out. The theater seats are too short. Your head isn't supported when reclined. The seats end at your shoulder. The price.... Is crazy.
Aren't y'all clever sneaking in the sale prices on those flyers taped to the dining table🤣🤑
Class A 22/23 foot👍
Big dislike: Andrea got hurt 😢 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Hi Matt and Andrea- I am a big fan!!! I appreciate the great reviews you post. It is a big help for me as I am a retired guy researching RV's. Anyway, I want to give you some constructive criticism. Over the past few months, Matt has increasingly used very bad grammar. It is very distracting and takes away from your otherwise excellent work. "You Got." "You do got." We got." "We do got." Please, please, please go back to "you have," "we have." Again, love your work. All the best to you both.
Winnebago warrior 23ft?
New Yoker aren't rude. We tend to be straight forward.
Sticker on table says 153 lol
If it ain't broke don't fix it? Might be blah but they always seem to want to change the things that are most cost-efficient or dependable. LOL, then I am not great with change. LOL
❤️ this motorhome
❤️ love honesty
😡plastic potty
😡 fold up bed…not a fan of
😡 over the cab bunk only 350lbs?
MSRP is totally bonkers; this unit is like something you could rent---functional, but basic.
How’s your fingers Andrea?
Much better😊thank you
A plastic toilet at that price?🤨nope. No counter space. Too much brown. Cabinets look like plastic. Window headboard, nope. Overall, It’s a nice size, nice bathroom and king size bed. I miss my old Winnebago with real wood and warm colors. ☹️
Another one of those walk around beds that can't be walked around. Very difficult to get in and out of for older people.
Updated in your face…..
Cabinetry is very nice, but its a real basic rv. A bit overpriced
LOL, you call that "small"... That looks like almost any NORMAL sized RV.
@Paul Wilgus ... I suppose that's technically true, wasn't paying attention enough. Still funny though.
For two hundred thousand, I dont think so.
Do not like the kitchen on a slide.
it goes with everything and goes with nothing. story of my life !
Hey, I'm walking here on Andrea's fingers!
🤣
👍
You stated winnebago makes best class b & c.... who makes best class a
im sorry but i know you say structural its great but honestly it overall stinkis wamp wamp and plastic toilet for all that money and they clearly cheaped out on so many things not just the toilet .. omnly someone who wasnt researching or looking around or just buying for the brand name (which people do and only clown themselves lol ) to buy this especially for the money thats outragous
Don't care for beds with no headboard. Really dislike. The other features weren't too good for the price.
I guessed $199k, less than $2k off.
All Winnebagos look the same. Nice size though.
