Thanks. You will love it! Trail of two halves. Both sections where brilliant. They only thing I was disappointed in not filming much was the section from Osmotherley to Kildale. Very up and down but brilliant! Though it took its toll on my knees.lol
Anyone know exactly what that wooden cabin is for? at 1:47 ??? I passed it a few months ago. I was a distance away and could see a huge dining table inside , a deer head on the wall and what looked like a sofa, looked like it had a hot tub as well, two female staff in uniforms came out to wave as I passed, somebody said its to do with archery ? Also the little hobbit house one to it I have seen in other videos . One video was from 2 years ago and the hikers just walked in because the door was unlocked and it was full of crates of alcohol and bottles of spirits, then I watched a video from 6 months ago and the door was locked this time and they filmed through the window and it had a fresh supply of alcohol in there. A friend of mine passed one time and he said there was just a bed in it? Any ideas what those two buildings are for or history? Tried googling it and found out nothing . They seemed random and out of place to me. Also in the same area but more secluded was a random picnic table and chairs
I am planning on doing this next year, hence my reason for watching, but is it too much for a 67 yr old backpacker? Already done the Pennine Way in both directions and the Coast to Coast in both directions, John OGroats to Lands End and Lands End to John OGroats and finally a complete circumnavigations of the Coastline if Mainland great Brittian. Osmotherley to Kilburn is very up and downy lol. Not sure if you would be camping or B&Bing? It’s an amazing walk of two halves. As far as I know it’s for corporate events and the like.

I much prefer camping over B&B at the moment but that may change with my advancing years. @@walkingdaze5777
I still have a preference for camping while I can, but IF I got too wet then it would be only common sense to find a B&B@@walkingdaze5777
