people are gonna be like "I was here from the start, so give me a bike plz" meanwhile I'm vibing with my mongoose 26 in Walmart bike. I am looking at your nucleus vr, and it's a killer value. This is a great company keep it up!
I’m going to do my best to get the Escarpe 29 CRS in medium whenever wiggle/chain reaction has them. I feel like it’ll be available for a minute and be out of stock before I can finish my order
Please make Vitus Bikes available in the Philippines. Because people here want to compete in events but all have a tight budget to afford some of the high end stuff available here. So please make Vitus available here so that poor people like me have a chance to compete against bigger brands and show them what Vitus is all about.
been waiting for the crx bike for sooo long, and every time it got restocked i would miss it cause it sells so fast. SO i went for the CRS which is also really good
To be honest it is my first enduro bike and it is great! I have also looked at Marin briefly but i quickly gave it up as the components you get for that money are not better than what you get on the Vitus leaving the carbon aside. I still struggle to find any better alternatives for this pricepoint. As you would imagine the bike feels really smooth and can definitely take more than i throw at it. The shifting is smooth as butter and i haven't had to adjust it scince i bought it, the brakes are amazing, however the rear brake pad was infected with oil along with the whole inside of the caliper, so i had to get new pads and sand down the rotor (im pretty sure it wasn't from me, but hey, i haven't heard nobody with the same problem so is allright). Suspension is good but i was expecting the front fork to be a just little more responsive to small bumps but it didn't bother me at all (apparently fox38 is even stiffer in this regard). The fork is similar with what you'd get on the Trek slash 8 for £3600 which only has another settup option option... I was struggling to decide between this bike and the Saracen Ariel Pro (180mm "park" bike) which was in stock and is made of aluminium as i wasn't sure i wanted carbon. The Saracen had nice Suspension and a Deore/Xt drivetrain (which was weird) but at 16 kg it was too heavy for me and it was also £300 more. Then i wanted to go with a Propain but after i found out about the import taxes i returned to vitus. I kept looking for other bikes as Vitus is a rather small company with little video reviews on this model and i taught it would have some major downsides due to the price. But after more research, at that pricepoint it only made sense for me to "roll the dice" and get the Vitus as there was only one left in stock, and it was the right choice. I feel like the other companies justify a higher price with the scale of the company along with a more extensive history and also Lifetime insurance (In trek's case) and in some cases more attention to detail. I posted some comparisons on sites between a treck and a Vitus and people choosing Trek justified it by saying that the company is bigger and probably customer service is better, but that's about it, most were choosing Vitus. So I don't regret buying this bike and i definitely recommend it. If carbon is not something you really want you can probably find some bikes with similar parts or even slightly better parts but idk for £2900 it us definitely at the top as the carbon does make it light for a 170mm enduro bike.
@@lakapaka5151 yeah tbh I could probably get away with a smaller travel bike though want the bigger for the 5% of riding I’ll utilise it for. I just find it hard to justify the money on the trek, pivot, Santa Cruz etc when the parts I’ll probably want to upgrade would most likely cost more than a frame when tbh for the riding I’ll do I’ll probably never come close to breaking one. I’m happy with alloy though like you said this even has carbon and better spec than the Marin. I’ll just have to try force one. Seem hard to come by in Australia
I'm brand new to MTBing, (and really bad at it) due to losing income from pandemic i'm not in a position to purchase a better bike yet. (currently riding entry level hard tail). I really want a Vitus full sus! What is the max fork travel if i were to upgrade at a later date on your mythique and the escarpe! i might be able to get a mythique cr but i would like to know if a 150 fork is possible thanks
Excellent looking bike, but you’ll be lucky to own one due to terrible supply and demand issues.. I managed to order a medium escarpe 27 cr through chain reaction, got the finance approve and the order was being processed. but three days later chain reaction cancelled the order due to “stock discrepancies”. Now I have a loan for nothing. So angry right now. 😡

my first real mtb was a nucleus excellent choice
Would be better if could get them from a bike shop wiggles a struggle to deal with
@@socialising6037 Honestly Bike shop brands are all out of stock, and I've been ,messaging with CRC and they have been absolutely awesome so far.
I need this in my life! 😍😍😍
yeap, there nothing like a good bike ride... :)
The fact that the escarpe doesnt come with a piggy back shock is the let down of the complete bike. Everything else is completely class!
I completely agree
Mind telling me what a piggybank shock is?

Are they good bikes? Looking at the Marin and these as their value to the likes of trek specialized etc is insane

I’m so annoyed they got rid off the the cheapest sommit and now the entry level one is £2400. I can’t afford that 😞
same and now you don't have a choice between aluminum and carbon.
