Mr. Loo, you had great adult children. These days, children will be a burden to their parents until they reach mid 20s and start working.
$3K in April 2021 buys 8 shares,($400) unrealized gains of $1024, current price $528 - 400x8 n , dividends, 48% is about right. Good to start young for your children or grandchildren.
Maybe she should write a book on investing... lol... 😊

Hello Kate and Mr Loo! I actually share almost the same kind of strategy as Kate, just dump in money and don't care, I didn't add in any funds and didn't look at it for the past few months. When I looked at it recently, it grew by a good 15% in just 6 months since I last dumped money into my portfolio! So yes I am also going to stick to this strategy and only tweak a bit when necessary. 😀
