Recently bought some recommended stocks and now they are just penny stocks. There seems to be more negative portfolios in the last 3rd half of 2023 and first half of this year with markets tumbling, soaring inflation, and banks going out of business. Sir, the way u explain the lows in a subtle way, to me is wonderful indeed. Also, the highs, is to be taken in a normal way, is an important lesson for me.

Dear Alok,
Very nice video backed by solid data. I could relate it very closely with my experience. I started investing into equities quite early ; right after I got my first job. My investments were through mostly through mutual funds, and some IPO stocks. I followed Sip approach. By 2008 I accumulated good capital and then I made a big mistake. I invested all my capital in lumpsum into mutual funds and then the mkt crashed. My capital eroded by 60% and it was a huge trauma. I withdrew from mkts for next 7-8 years and focused on LIC and PPF.
Looking back of I feel I should have continued to stay invested, but at that time it was a very difficult to do so. I had to continue investing in one ULIP scheme and since I couldn't stop it, this one fund gave me good returns. Wish I had this kind of guidance at that time.
Momentum investing gives reasonable returns with low risk and that's why I like it.

Sir in large cap strategies you have set monthly rebalancing, if it was through weekly rebalancing then we could have easily come out of the weak part early compared to currently system. Do you even think something, or do you have any special reason behind the monthly rebalancing of large cap strategies
it can be inefficient.......transaction costs go up somewhat... we also have HCC which is largely largecap but is weekly.
Sir, why are you saying this method is inefficient for some large cap strategies and the transaction will be high here, and if you are doing this in a large cap strategy, will this method not be there? Or will there be no transaction or need?❤🎉❤🎉

US markets have been expanding range made new all time highs and all during through highest interest rate environment in last 25 yrs, and the natural logic that retail will be more optimistic that a rate cut or annoucement of rate cut would send markets more into expansion but thats where market makers can turn, for a short period of time it could become sellers market

Incase a correction comes in market. What will happen to mostly to the stocks who have not at all participated in this rally? Is it an indication that they will go for a deeper correction or they kind of keep going, maybe exihibit minor correction and grow up in next rally. Considering the financials and all are at par.

Sir, The content is good. thx for your effort. QQ - Is it good idea to invest in gold to hedge against market crash. Ex: if we believe more chance of market crash then 40% in gold then rest in equity so where there is market crash then we can reinvest the gold into equity on the near possible bottom. please share your view on this.

What should be the strategy someone started investing already invested 90% of the money with no money left sitting with only 10% profit? Can you please guide us. Consider 2 scenario 10 lac portfolio and 50 lac portfolio

Building a house.. education to kids...med expenses... marriage..all takes time. Also saving money....some as shares...gold...fd.. debentures....rents...ppf savings... insurance premiums...all this happens and a balance should be made....by the time all is achieved one will be aged and death will be waiting... whatever...when you have earned some Haram ka money...from stock market....blow a part of it...some donate..and be prepared to rest well permanently.
