So. In case you guys are confused by the ending, this is Majin's backstory. Well, this is *Nominal's* Majin's backstory. Nominal(acting as Majin) talked about it in a Sonic 3 stream. This is what he said. "At some point i died, right? I drowned. It was in Labyrinth Zone, i remember really clearly and it took a while for me to get over- like i'm better now, but i had a lot of PTSD after- after i drowned in Labyrinth Zone. And i was stuck down there like it wasn't just like _oh i drowned_ and that's it. No, i was stuck down there and i was- i was- i was fighting for my life. And um...and uhh- li- like out of nowhere i saw this weird mask, right? And i saw a mask and it came down and uhh i grew- like out of instinct i just- i grabbed it and i put it on and i was just teleported to this weird place. A place that i decided to call Left Field. It's not- it's that place with like the blue clouds, the black trees and the um- the gray grass, that's what it wa- that's what it is. That place. And then...so yeah i- i- i was given a second chance at life, i thought it was pretty interesting. You know coming back to this song, I can't help but think that this is what Xanthus did to Sonic, he didn't exactly kill him but he definitely made his life a living hell. I mean Sonic hates water almost more than he probably hates Eggman, so being forced to feel like he's drowing constantly would probably drive him insane. But that could just be my interpretation of what could have happend.
I love how instead of intro being labyrinth it’s more of a feeling of dread and never ending situation with no escape. Then the FANTASTIC sink vocals, unlike other one where he sounds way too muffled he sounds really balanced with water and sonic. The arts really good, visuals are too. It’s a really good blend of sorrow and a good song that’s not too gloomy. I also love how sink ends up becoming Majin, I also thought that if Majin sent mask to all desperate sonics who died or on the verge of death if Sink or Starved! You know coming back to this song, I can't help but think that this is what Xanthus did to Sonic, he didn't exactly kill him but he definitely made his life a living hell. I mean Sonic hates water almost more than he probably hates Eggman, so being forced to feel like he's drowing constantly would probably drive him insane. But that could just be my interpretation of what could have happend.

I love how instead of intro being labyrinth it’s more of a feeling of dread and never ending situation with no escape. Then the FANTASTIC sink vocals, unlike other one where he sounds way too muffled he sounds really balanced with water and sonic. The arts really good, visuals are too. It’s a really good blend of sorrow and a good song that’s not too gloomy. I also love how sink ends up becoming Majin, I also thought that if Majin sent mask to all desperate sonics who died or on the verge of death if Sink or Starved! Sonic were effected.Great work nominal! Amazing song✨
