- Jag vet en dejlig rosa - The Hebbe Sisters: Emelie Hebbe, Josefine Hebbe & Maria Hebbe
A LIVE recording from the Swedish countryside in our home area called Värmland. The birds are singing with our voices. We got inspired to catch the last beautiful summer light with recording this video🍁🍂🍁. A Scandinavian Folk Song in an arrangement by our oldest sister Emelie Hebbe. We wish you all a great start of this new season ❤

Sounds like a medieval fantasy soundtrack. Lovely song
Cool! Yes, the song is beautiful. We're glad you liked it!
The song is from a Scandinavian song book from the 1500s.
Skön musik i coronatider!
Vad fint att höra! Tack.
Coronabluffen
Luved it. Much luv from north africa
sounds reminiscing happy times. i absolutely don't understand all of it. but glad to hear it. i'm from southeast asia
Tack!
I'm crying my eyes out here 😭
The motion of the harmonies moving together was incredible. Every part of this was just so captivating! I was in awe
Thank you so much for saying that! Beautiful of you to say. We're real sisters and that can make the sound a bit more special.
@@thehebbesisters Yeah I can imagine it would make a difference! Definitely could feel a sisterly connection haha, you guys nailed it
Just so pleasant to listen to!
Vad fint! Låten får mig dock att sakna min kör... men ni framförde den väldigt vackert!
Åh! Det förstår vi... körsång är något alldeles extra
Holy cow these harmonies are insane! Idk how much autotune goes into this but damn. I had to hit replay
Thank you! We're so glad to hear that you like it! The sound is not autotune, we don't know how to work with that tool. This was the 2nd take and we didn't edit the sound. We're sisters so the sound is actually as pure as it sounds ;) Hit reply and share to your friends! :)
@@thehebbesisters That's amazing!
@@jaybone2 Thank you!
This makes me want to raid the coasts of England
This is so good! I really like when you all breathe together and then sing as one unit. It must have taken a lot of practice. Excellent job!
Thank you so much for saying that! Yes, we've been practicing a lot during the years, but since we're real sisters it's always easier to sing as one unit. We're so happy to hear that you like the singing!
This should have millions of views!
Wow, thank you for saying that!!

Can someone write down full lyrics please? I couldn't find it on google.
Sure! Here's the lyrics:
Jag vet en dejlig rosa
Och vit som liljeblad
När jag på henne tänker
Så görs mitt hjärta glad
Dess stämma ger en hjärtans tröst
Lik näktergalens blida röst
Så hövisk och så ljuv
Som solen fagert skiner
Är hon som purpur klar
Gud låt dig aldrig sörja
Men alltid vara glad
Må de få komma samman
Med hjärtans fröjd och gamman
Som längta till varann'
Sounds a lot like "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" and other English madrigals.
