Why do clubs have Tungsten ?!?

Huge golf nerd as well. I am trying to figure out the downsides to playing a club with tungsten.
I definitely can see the feel being an issue as the tungsten clubs like T300 have a “thud” to it.
Most of the clubs have decent workability.
