I loved the Michael Brooks show. I felt it was advancing in strides each week in Michael’s last year. So brilliant, so empathetic, so funny, so personable.
Michael Brooks deserves every bit of the vocal love he still receives on a daily basis. Left is best and Michael was the best of us. Fortunately, a huge part of his greatness was the inspiration he sparked in others.
A powerful voice that wont be forgotten! I am still crushed by his sudden and tragic passing, I hope his sister and the rest of his family are doing well.
I have never before or since been so deeply effected by the loss of someone I've never met. I often contemplated calling in to talk to him one day and looked forward to that interaction. It will upset me, even to this day, when I see a Michael Brooks video. I followed his work for 4 years before his passing. He brought me out of the right wing rabbit hole. I will forever love him for that.

I know you all talk about the MR family but I don’t know if you are all aware of how much all of you mean to all of us regular viewers and that includes the extended MR family. Michael’s loss was devastating and this was the first time since his death that I have been able to watch anything with Michael that lasted more than about a minute without having to stop. I spend more time listening to you than I do my own brothers and I just wanted you to know that. Thank you for all that you do and I am so grateful that your show exists. RIP dear Michael and Left is Best.

Oh man when Sam’s voice cracked before playing the final piece selected by Michael’s sister , I got all teary eyed …..we miss Michael’s presence , his impact is still felt today . I started watching in 2016 , Michael’s spirit is still very much alive there in the studio , as you continue to be the caring , funny , left is best crew that you all are, keep up the great work, much love to you guys and all of Michael’s family as you celebrate his life today !

Someone mentioned how they would’ve liked to see Michael’s impression of ‘Civil Trump’ after the assassination attempt and I can’t stop thinking about how hilarious that could’ve been. RIP Michael, I love you

He was bringing all kinds of interetsing threads together, and in the months before he passed I started to recognise more than ever how compassionate he was. I cry because his bright light wasn't just taken from his friends and family and those of us who enjoyed and appreciated him from afar; his gifts were also taken from society. Still, I'm left with an immense gratitude that he had the platform he had and that this record remains for us to revisit, re-comtemplate and be inspired by.
Michael Brooks laid out why I should be on the left, logically, hilariously, and with inspiring morality. He was the future of left media. Thankfully he was able to inspire, teach, and collaborate with so many before his passing. RIP
This is the MR that I miss. Those years prior to 2019 were so freaking hilarious. Michael's impressions always reminded me of Jay Mohr's where he can do an impression of an impression on the spot and create sort of aburd characters.
