Sam's show: Debates anyone, takes calls, is continually learning on specific subjects through interviews with authors, experts, and academics. Tim's show: Debates only those in his studio, does not take calls, does not engage in continual learning, does not interview authors, academics, or experts. I wanted to make this a humorous comment but it's better to spell things out sometimes. Political opinions aside, even by objective measures Sam's show is clearly more inclined to inform people with information beyond the host's own expertise. Tim's show (like many conservative shows) is not formatted with this intent. Therefore it does not even come close.

Accusation in a mirror is a false claim that accuses the target of something that the perpetrator is doing or intends to do. The name was used by an anonymous Rwandan propagandist in Note Relative à la Propagande d'Expansion et de Recrutement. "accusation in a mirror" or "human rights inversion" in international human rights law. Essentially, accusation in a mirror (AiM) is a common technique for inciting genocide by accusing one's intended victims of precisely the crimes that one intends to commit against them. This article argues that the usage of this common genocidal technique should satisfy the directness requirement for incitement to genocide under international law. The nature, functions, psychology, purpose and mechanisms of AiM are explored, and examples are drawn from Nazi Germany, Rwanda, Yugoslavia, Iran, the contemporary Middle East, and elsewhere. These genocidal uses of AiM are compared with similar techniques used historically to defame persecuted groups, such as the myths of the black rapist, the Indian giver, and the murderous Jew. This article is an expanded version of a conference paper delivered at a conference on incitement to genocide which the author co-convened at the Loyola University School of Law in Chicago.

The beauty of this is since that interview, Tim has supported the objectively worse option, as opposed to the utilitarian view. He literally picked the thousands of trillions died, not the hundreds of trillions. Salute to Patrick Bet David though, who did try to defend Sam with the ‘I don’t know why people were so upset with him coming on the show’. Showed some integrity compared to the rest of them.

Sam is not a serious or professional person. He doesn’t know anything and he has an absolutely insufferable personality. He’s not funny, he’s not smart, he can’t debate, nobody likes him. He’s just a nuisance that contributes nothing to any show of any kind. That’s why he’s blacklisted. Sam doesn’t know enough to count as “the left.”
@samedmundson6470 You're right. You're smart enough to know the difference between blackballing and cancellation. Except (and this is problematic), no one here was talking about either one. Blackballing specifically is someone voting to exclude someone from a club (or to generally to socially exclude someone), while cancellation is the process of stopping a planned event, program, or membership. Blacklisting, meanwhile, is the act of putting an unwanted person on a list to deny them rights afforded to other people, be it access to employment or (in this case) access to be a guest on a show. In this case, Tim Pool and conservative talk shows blacklisting Sam Seder from debating them on their shows is tantamount to implicit censorship - the opposite of what conservatives, the Tim Pool, Dave Rubin-types like to opine about, how there is "no free speech" in society anymore and "no diversity of thought" in media. So wouldn't blacklisting a guest for their political views (or even their lack of seriousness, according to Tim Pool) do the opposite of what conservatives actually want? Well, ok. Maybe you're not smart enough to understand that.

The "I don't care about that" is such a strong debate tactic against debate bros like Tim Pool. They will always try to use complicated philosophy to muddy the conversation and since they are introducing obscure terms and philosophers, they can assert they are smarter than you. But it simple, don't even take the bait. Don't even go down that road and keep it in the area that is as simple and easily accessible because you will always win against conservatives in those terms.
PBD tried that same shit with David Packman… it didn’t work and the conversation at times would get heated and uncomfortable. Both of them taking jabs at each other.
Yeah hard doubt on that. If you said to conservatives that outlawing gender affirming care in minors will lead to increased suicide and they said "I don't care" you wouldn't think it's a strong debate tactic.
@jaxmiller724 congrats on missing the point. Your example is an actual real world argument about things that actually happen. The philosophy bro argument like the one Tim is making here is entirely different. People of no substance like Tim love to have debates where they cook up exaggerated theoretical situations to act like they’re being a big brain and intelligent. Responding I don’t care and not even entertaining it is simply not giving them the satisfaction they seek when they transition a genuine discussion of a serious issue to an exaggerated example to move off of the real world issue into the world of theoreticals such as an idiotic point of using a super hero movie to equate the decision to vote for the better option you have that will do the least harm to others to Thanos as an insult. It’s a waste of time to have those discussions with those people because they feel a superiority by arguing that you are a bad guy for making a real world decision that maybe your two options aren’t what you want but as an adult you have the maturity to know that you make the choice that does the least harm to everyone as a whole while their philosophic argument pushes that you’re the good guy only if you make the truly right choice without factoring any consequences in it. It’s a strategy that people who often don’t do shit to actually improve anything love to employ where they’ll boast about not voting because neither decision is “right” on its face and that it’s superior even if that choice leads fo harm for more people. It’s never productive to anything it’s always a theoretical think tank employed by people who generally have the most ardent opinions of what’s right or wrong but usually do Jack to advance society to be better.
@@Matt-cr4vv congrats on missing the point yourself. The point of Tim explaining from what I've seen was to explain how the concept is ends justify means. This is an extremely dangerous way of virwing the world and got us some of the worst tragedies of the 20th century. Emma herself on the interview the other day directly stated "I dont care about procedures I care about outcomes", I could argue Trump agrees with her. The point of hypotheticals is to get down to what you actually believe and how much you actually believe it. For instance, the hypothetical tim gave about abortion where they save the baby instead of killing it, the point is to see if what you want is the right to end the pregnant state or end the life. For people like Lance and those on the majority report, it seems to heavily lean towards the kill area than the end pregnancy area.

Only when it's their cult members that want to speak.
I think you are mixing Blackballed and Cancelled. Probably not smart enough to know the difference anyway.

When we know Crowder turned down a $50 million dollar contract. Then there's Cambridge analytica, Palantir, and Mercer's use of Psychographics and data mining
It's depressing that Tim Pool is so rich. He's been rewarded for lying about being a fence-sitting liberal when he frames everything from a far right perspective and hasn't argued for a single left wing policy to balance that out.
Atleast it bothers him hes bald, cant even embrace it
Tim: 'We are booked Monday. The show is live 8pm in studio. We can cover all travel and expenses'
Sam: 'I can do 13th'
Dude right I feel like such an immeasurable failure in life working a 9-5
@@basedtruthpiller7140 do me a fav and please don't do a mass shooting. Worried about ya...
@@TacticalOtter2 just start reading daily news articles and reacting to them without giving credit like Tim used to do.
Tim uses Breitbart as a source..... that should say plenty. 💯
Probably uses the daily stormer on the dl too.
Oh nooo... Being "boycotted" from a bunch of podcasts you wouldnt wanna be on. Got em good. 😂😂
“I think Sam Seder is a grifter.” Hmmm I don’t think Pool caught his self-own there
He was very cagey about using the word actually, because his own father is more or less willing to call him out for it. Notice he's so disingenous, that he claims Lance from The Serfs is "evil" but he wants him on his show, but Sam's just a big ol' meanie!
@@futurestoryteller Great point. Pimple is a pathetic clown and I want him to walk into lava for laughs.
Loved Sam’s boomer moment with the phone😂
This is the funniest fuckin beef.
😂 a drama grifter?? I do not think that word means what Tim thinks it means.
As a token “former leftist” right wing apologist, gaslighting is second nature to him by now.
Yeah I wrote the same thing. %100
Sam’s analysis of these right wing charlatans is always on point.
Lmao They looked at the playlist of videos and instead of playing the video of what happened with the Thanos video, they just let Tim lie about it.
I have no idea who Timmy Pool is, but his assessment that utilitarianism is the "villain" in most movies is ridiculous. Sam's around the same age as me, so he would undoubtedly recognize this line: "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few... or the one." Maybe Pool just needs to watch better movies. 🖖
Tim is going to be raging about this on his deathbed. Dude cannot let anything go. Also he’s such a liar. He is scared shitless of TMR because they see right through him.
His audience has a persecution complex, that his ongoing grievances with leftist hosts play right into.
Doesn’t he puts out a video every other day talking about how it’s a full on civil war any day now? How can someone take him seriously
“It is not bad faith. It is total disrespect.” 🙌
Tim: Sam is the most disingenuous guy in the space.
also Tim: taking $100k a week from Russia.
🤣🤣🤣
Sam is just too smart of the youtube space. They knew their narrative would just get Thanos snap the moment Sam walks in.
Sam still doesn't want the 2A and he still supports transgenders assaulting women.
In Tim's and Sam's defense, Time doesn't actually need Sam to humiliate him, he does that just fine on his own
Right? Technically speaking, Sam didn't humiliate Tim. All Sam did was step out of Tim's own way so he could humiliate himself.
"Sam Seder is blacklisted because what would happen if we allowed people on who can competently challenge our false outrage grift."
Tim Pool sounds like a frigging 19 year old twitch streamer who got famous drama farming is now complaining about someone trying to clout shark him, its so pathetic.
Also, him bringing up Lance being on the show is so funny. If you REALLY, GENUINELY thought someone was EVIL, that their ideas were poisonous and bad WHY would you give him air time on your show? Its just stupid.
Sam trying to show the audience his DMs by holding his phone toward the camera is so cute

Not all leftist channels are as good as this though, you guys talk sense despite your leftist ideology you make lots of sense and on the Gaza tragedy you guys have the moral high ground therefore i have become a very regular follower of your program. It helps me keep a critical eye on all the right leaning programs.
Sam being blacklisted by Fox for the last 10 years is kind of a flex
Absolutely, no one with self respect goes on FOX news.
it just gives the game away. tim openly brags that he likes saying "sam seder is blacklisted" when it is specifically far right wing sources that banned him. tim is the poster child for children left behind. crazy that he has had concrete real world experience and arrives at this lunacy
Why did he get banned?
@@Dana__blackprobably for lying or being disingenuous
