Great ideas and very well made. Thanks. I saw a video saying that to prevent knee injury when doing leg extensions the seat should cover the hamstring and be close to the back of the knee. Could you advise how to accommodate this when using your bench or when building yours from scratch? Thanks
Hmmm... I would cut the seat to 300mm wide × 400mm long to make sure it comes out further. I would also ensure that the edge is covered up with matting so that it feels comfortable on your hamstrings
@@MattLees-Nunan Does it matter if the castor wheel says max capacity is 40kg? That doesn't matter does it since the wood and bench is holding most of the weight right?
Great video, but I’m missing what are the lengths of the 2 pieces 70mm x 45mm pine cut for the leg frame, then attached together with the 200mm x 70mm flat bracket? 2:19 minutes Thanks, Ted
I know what you mean. I'm making this project and I'm not mm savy. You;d think he could answer such a simple question. Not everyone is knowledgeable about Euro measurements.
Any chance we can get a video of you using this bench to do standing leg curls? I want to see how efficient it would be using the front leg extension part but to do standing leg curls. I am deciding to either create just a lying leg curl part or just a standing leg curl part.
Olá from Madeira Portugal. Amazing!!exactly what I want!! Can you please make one for me and send to my home address?... How much it cost?? 😁I can't buy one, no one sends to my island, already lost money... Can you send all measures in Portuguese? Thanks
Hey bro can you make a video of you using the bench for a dummbell Chest press and incline press while the leg attachment is still on and then show you detaching the leg curl and then doing the flat and incline press? Would be good to see the difference and how easy it is or isn't using it without detaching.
Hi! Hmmm....I've never had that much on there, so I wouldn't be able to say yes or no. It might be a matter of trialling a little bit at a time to see how it goes. You may find that amount of weight could cause the front to lean forward... in this case, maybe attaching the back to the floor or putting something heavy over the top of the back leg would be helpful.
This is awesome! Im super impressed with your channel and the fact that your sharing this info to benefit everyone. My hat goes off to you sir!!
Thank you so much! That really makes my day and I'm glad you appreciate what I'm doing❤😊

@@MattLees-Nunan Thanks for your reply Matt. Is the size you just mentioned the same size you suggest in the video?
Looks excellent!
Thanks! It's been a handy machine in the IsoGym😍
That’s the best diy hamstring setup on UA-cam respect man.
Can you load it up with enough weight to give your hamstrings a solid blast??
Thank you🙏 Yeah definitely. I get 55kg on there but to add more weight; all you need to do is make the tubing longer so you can add extra weight.

Hi Ted, thank you very much! There should be a full list of materials in the description of the video. Let me know if you have any other questions👍

Thank you, I hope it helps😊
@@MattLees-Nunan yes very helpful 🙇♂️
So i know what size to order... Thanks
Nice idea but you can’t put much weight the hinge from the wheel holder would probably break.
What makes you say that can I ask?

3:20 what are those spark glasses called?
Just safety goggles
Que bom ideia amei
great idea for these days.
Thank you🙏
Alguém pode passar os nomes dos materiais em português por favor
Very good🙏🔥👍
CHEERS😁
May I know the max weight tolerance of that hinge? Can you put like 100kg on that?
The most I've had on it is 60kg
How much weight and how many sets and reps do you do for muscle growth?
Usually 3-5 sets of 10-12 reps💪😊
@@MattLees-Nunan how much weight?
It really depends on the individual. DM me on insta😊
Can you use copper tubing instead of the galvanised steel tube you used or would that be too weak?
Copper is a great idea. Just very expensive😯
@@MattLees-Nunan I'm just struggling to find pipes. We have different terms here in the UK for different tools and materials.
Yeah, I can imagine it's harder over there. Well, I suppose if it's thick enough then it's fine👌
@@MattLees-Nunan I just don't want the copper to bend. Maybe a conduit pipe would be better.
@@fightermma look for "Threaded Pipe zinc Coated" or "Galvanised Malleable Iron threaded Pipe" on Ebay or Amazon that's what i used.
Such a bad ass !!
You know it😎
How do you detach the leg curl from the bench? Can you detach it without tools?
Yep! Easily done without tools. The eyelit bolt just needs to be hand-tight👌

Can you provide the measurements for the height it needs to be please?
Sure! 300mm😊
how much load can this thing take? lets say i wanna add 91kg on it, can it take that? and it would be proportional to the one in the gyms?

Superrrr🙏😜🔥
What's the size/diameter of the caster wheel?
100mm and rated for 200kg bro😊
What is the maximum weight that this could handle?
What the max weight you can leg curl or do for leg extensions?
With this one, I can put 50kg on there but you can always extend the bar out further to load more weight on!
How wide is thebench
300mm😊
How many inches is the directional wheel sir?
1.77 inches🙂
@@MattLees-Nunan how about the 5inches sir? I think that 5inches is body where the screw to put, is it okay 5inches?

Awesome! Will check it out!
Noooo!!!!!
The colors LGTB+....
Hi! What does LGTB mean,🤔
What's the max amount of plates you can load on there?
On this I can put 50kg but to add more weight all you need to do is make the metal tubing which holds the plates longer👍
