Cameraman gets an A+. I am not a pilot but by the end of the video the great videography of the floats smoothly skimming over the waves has me wanting this plane & a pilots license.
Man oh man. I want that to be me when I get my medical back and before I get too old and unhealthy to keep it....again. Yeah Baby! Cool! Thank you and be safe!
I'm looking at it with envy, all the while reminding myself that "If you have to ask, you can't afford it." The sad part of this is that I know people that would be looking to mount a trolling motor on a pontoon, giving an entirely new meaning to "fly fishing." I was expecting a variant of the Allison 250 variant. The PT6 surprised me; shows how much I've been around planes lately. I'm praying that the Kodiak has SPPR. Happy New Year!
I would like to see the Kodiak with floats do a landing and take off on a back country grass strip. That would make this plane the ultimate back country float plane.
Id like to hope itd most likely be a little under 1000 miles. Not too much difference in weight from the original, just a bit more weight but not by a lot by Kodiak standards.

right?! the gears of the floats are definitely not as tough as the larger 19" ones that come standard.
Great video Erik!
I made my first landing today! I made it in Andrew Kiest's luscombe silvaire.
Jake Driggers Very cool man!! That’s awesome. I want to shoot his Luscomb sometime
It's a cool little plane!
Kodiac 100 The BEST !
See how good the plane is, when you started talking about landing on water it reminded you not to sink by telling you "Don't sink".😉😂
Would it be possible to transport a 2600 lb. boat under this plane?
How much used?
Maximum range?
what is the range of amphibian version?
