Both were recommended at Consumer Reports! Same audio quality for both (3/5). The GIG was #1 and JBL #13, user-friendliness, versatility and lower price probably pushed the GIG to first place. You win with either hardware anyway. 🤘
Just bought the gig xxl from Costco they were on clothes out for $99 I love them for the price that they are but absolutely no way I would pay $199 or more The JBL has way more bass way more durable and easier to control. I honestly think the gig xxl sounds good for what it is
The only way to do that is via the Roku app on your phone and using the private listening mode while the speaker is connected to your phone via Bluetooth.

Thanks for the review! I’m looking for a portable system to play small events and your info was great! Now I need to make a decision. 😀
What is your follow-up?
I bought the Klipsch speaker. The volume at its max is not very loud. It will be returned.
This was my problem when it was on sale in costco, jbl 110 plug in destroys this in max volume
Thank you for the video! Very helpful!

Thank you. How do you connect the Klipsch with the Roku TV? Planning to karaoke on UA-cam.

A lot of the alternatives have a inefficient speakers around 85db/m @ 1 watt
Excellent review.
What happens if I put a mic in the "Guitar" input of the Klipsch, do you think I can risk damaging the unit?
the klipsch comes with a mic right?
Yes a wired mic.
Can you adapt a wireless mic setup to this for Kareoke?
@@dav1dizzle yes! this link has a recommended wireless microphone
And Klipsh have a HIRES Audio ❤
I'm looking for a tripod for jbl 110. Any advice??????
These would work great. It’s a pair but has a storage / travel bag too. Make sure the pin is what keeps the height not just the knob. amzn.to/3PEwCPB
Is there a way to run two mics on one unit?
I’ve tried only one side will have mic output.
I make beats on FL Studio. I can send you some of my instrumentals, copy right free😊
The Klipsch sounds way better.
It’s so hard to relay the sound in the room. Example: I listen to the video with my phone vertical the horizontal and I would choose Klipsch then JBL
Listening on a 110 way better choice then Klipsch
Also why Klipsch.
Why couldn't you make your own speaker.
This is just a cheap Chinese rebrand
JBL is made in china 😂😂😂
@@edwardojoubert8121 yes.
But the Klipsch is a rebrand of a off shelf Chinese speaker
@@edwardojoubert8121Probably 99.9% of all Bluetooth speakers on the planet are made in China, from low to high-end!
