Thank you for sharing this! This is the most descriptive video on the issue that I've found. I have been taking my car in for drain line at least 2x a year for 3 years now. This will save so much time and money!
Yes, it was an immense help, and after doing exactly as you demonstrated - no more water on the passenger seat floor mat and no headache of driving in heavy rains. You really helped us save hundreds of Euro with the DIY tips!! Hero!!
I found it easier to use slip joint pliers than needle nose, I used a hair dryer to dry up the water and then used some turtle wax carpet foam cleaner and the scrubber to destroy any odors and bacteria.
Hello dear, I have 2014 porsche Cayenne 3.6 Ac drain if fine open, I still have lots of water front and rear passenger side carpet is wet any idea ? Thx
Thanks! I'm struggling to get the clamp off and feel like I'm going to break it. Didn't seem like you squeezed all that hard in the video, but it did require quite a bit of force to get the clamp off?
Yes, it requires a lot of force to remove. I cut out the part where I was struggling to remove the clamp. Keep trying. You'll get it... well, thanks for watching
This is awesome. I’m going to use your idea and hang from the ceiling in the garage. As per the 2 poles/rods what are they made of? Thanks for posting.
I see your comment is listed under the wet carpet in the porsche cayenne but I'm assuming based off the comment it's about the Thule carrier. The poles are 5 foot metal conduit poles that can be at your local Home Depot or Lowes can be found in the electrical aisle
2015 Cayenne S e Hybrid: Despite limited visual access, you can open the hood, and feel along the firewall to flip the rubber vent door to open the AC drain. This took 2 minutes to clear, and can be your go to maintenance approach. If you have some concern that cutting the flap off could give mice access to the cabin, here's a fix I tried: take 10 OD mm silicone tubing and cut a section to run inside the black rubber AC tubing, and extend 2" beyond the vent flap. I also fit 2" of tubing length into the hard plastic funnel end of the AC housing under the dash, as I had already removed the tension clamp from the inside.
Nice... yes there's definitely a quicker way but hard to video tape that approach... honestly I would have just went under the car and reached around against the firewall and cleared it but at first I wasn't to sure what I was looking for. If I have to do it again thats how I will do it. To think dealer charges $700 to clear all the drains on the cayenne that probably can be done in 15 Min
ua-cam.com/video/QccF-GoINiI/v-deo.htmlsi=ycEP3LcvarDgOwez This video covers the front drains that would overflow if you're having water on the driver side. I also have a video on the rear drains
This was a first for me as well.. I've had a few issues with this cayenne but its still a great vehicle. I owned a Boxster for 18 years really had no issues with it except airbag light. Also might be because my boxster was always garaged and I tried to never drive it in the rain.

Can I apply the same method for 957 cayenne turbo 2009 ?
Some of the screws or locations may be different, but overall, it should be very similar. Well, thanks for watching
By any chance if my rubber ripped is there a part number to buy a new rubber
Sorry, I don't have any part numbers. You will have to check at your local dealer. Well thanks for watching

Is it similar for the driver's side?
The driverside doesn't have an ac drain but here's a video on the other front drains ua-cam.com/video/QccF-GoINiI/v-deo.htmlsi=DJXvxQARsA-6WIU0
