[What to prepare]
jar
cooking oil
solid medicine
scissors
string
chopsticks
a potter warming up oil
***Be careful of burns.****
[How to make it]
1.I crush the crayons and put them in a jar.
2.I hang the string on the chopsticks.
3.I warm up the oil and mix in the solid medicine.
4.I pour the oil into the jar.
The crayons will melt when they are warm, so let's mix them up.
5.Let the string hang in the center.
6.Let it cool and it's done!
I have a lot of questions about medicines, so I'll put them here. It was sold as an oil coagulant at a local supermarket. You may be able to buy it if you have one in your neighborhood such as Daiso. It is sold as an oil coagulant and is used to dispose of oil. I've been getting a lot of questions about it, so I looked it up and found that you can use potato starch instead. While the oil is warm, mix in the potato starch. However, I have never tried this one. Please be very careful as you use fire. I would be happy to hear if it works.
Thanks for clarification on the solid medicine, been wandering about it.
Your chicken karage looks juicy and tasty.
For those that are looking for the "medicine", you can just buy stearic acid. Cooking oil solidifiers are just rebranded stearic acid sold at a higher price. It raises the melting temperature of oil, so that it's solid at room temperature. It's used in soap making, so it should be readily available on places like amazon.
Thank you for this comment
