I saw a quick outside shot of ur Cessna 310 R !! WOW, It looks Mighty Good 2 me with that Paint Striping and color !! I love the Cessna 310 the R model is the Nicest model of the Series !! Thanks! Best of luck as you begin flying with your family. I’ve flown in a Seneca, which didn’t work for our younger kids as the 4 back seats were separated from the front by a console. But could work for older kids. 👍🏼 Also, the visibility from the front was not as good as some of the competitors. Nacelles blocked view a bit.
The Airport based you are at St Petersburg.? Beautiful aircraft that is my favorite six seater Multi Engine the Mighty 310 and I’ve never been there at that airport community which looks great and oh by the way your plane looks like new with the custom paint job
I have three boys the same age! I would love a 310R but not a fan of the added cost of multi-engine. Did you look at the bonanza or any single engine planes that could take the whole fam?
Hi! We recently loaded our whole family in a Bonanza with a little luggage in the back (only place to store luggage) and had to be super careful the plane didn’t tip on its tail. Without 2 adults in front seats it was easy to be tail heavy on the ground. Some friends of ours have 3 kids and fly a single engine Piper Lance quite successfully. However, we fly over water often and you can’t beat the safety of twin engine redundancy. For speed, useful load, and luggage capacity, it’s hard to beat the 310R. Huge nose storage, as well as duel wing lockers, and some cabin storage. It’s an incredible plane. Best of luck on your search!
You can check out our review of the Foxstar Baron on the planekidsfun channel. Both great planes! The 310R has more storage and excellent single engine performance in the case of an emergency. The 6-seater Baron 58 has club style seating, while the 310 has all forward facing seats. We prefer the 310R overall for performance and capacity.

What airport is that me and my father would fly into Lakeland for breakfast a lot as a kid and we would fly to cider key for dinner as well.
