i wouldnt exchange Gonti against rune scarred demon, cause you can use Gonti in a combo kill: yarok on the battlefield play peregrine drake - float the 10 mana play man o war - bounce man o war and the drake repeat you get infinite mana the draw your whole deck and exile all libraries with gonti

When I pulled this card I thought it would make a good commander, and now I find someone who's built a solid foundation for a deck to build with it. Nicely done :)
Great Sultai deck David.I think other good generals for ETB strategies are Roon of the Hidden Realm or Chulane from throne of Eldraine if you wanna go Bant or Animatou if you wanna go Esper.
You are absolutely right! Early turns before you play Yarok it shouldn't be a problem but later on it will be annoying. Conversly Crumbling Vestige gives you two mana when it enters the battlefield when Yarok is out.
How do you feel about bolas's citadel (currently 1.50 usd) as just a value card in the deck. Yes losing life can really hurt but it also lets you play lands off top and build your board. If you can avoid lands in 1 turn you can completely fill your board with amazing cards and cause a ton of etb effects!
It is a solid card, doesn't really synergize well with the overall strategy but you could include it. If so I would put in more effects which gain us life though.
i would definitely cut cunning evasion from this deck. Returning creature with etb effects to your hand is nice, but your opponents can just choose not to block them. Especially since these creatures won't have very high stat lines. Instead i would maybe put in something like a portal of sanctuary. This way you can get creatures back to your hand whenever you like. other than that, great video and an awesome commander.
Yeah Portal of Sanctuary is better than Cunning Evasion for more reliable bounce and even protection for your commander. Cunning Evasion just lets you get through with more damage and yes our creatures might have power 2 or 3 but a couple of them attacking every turn and nobody blocking will add up. You can't really go wrong either way ;).
Not only that, but infinite bounces for all our enemies' creatures after you created a billion mana. It's OP af. You can also use Shrieking Drake to make the combo even cheaper, as he's a one mana Man o War basically.
@@eac-ox2ly I forgot to mention the infinite other creature bounce but drake is almost strictly an infinite mana bouncer/infinite replay your creatures
I won a multi player pod with Peregnine Drake, Shrieking Drake and the ridiculous Altar of the Brood. Also have various other win cons that integrate PDrake and SDrake into them. I utterly love Yarok and playing this deck. Is one of my fave three decks with Tuvasa and Shirei...

Great suggestions Ricardo! Those are indeed also great ETB commanders. Roon being the weakest of the bunch unfortunately.

rupture spire, transguild promenade, and gateway plaza will trigger twice with yarrok out, making you pay a mana twice to avoid sacrificing them

We did have a look at that card but instead just went with the 2 mana draw creatures.

I would play chittering rats over liliana's specter
flickering chiterring rats gets really oppressive really quickly
You'll find that Liliana's Specter is more oppressive in multiplayer as it hits each opponent.
Budget MTG Decks yeah you’re probably right, I play mostly 1v1 and against a lot of graveyard shenanigans so that makes sense
Stubborn denial is perfect for yarok
