No snickering at Thomas Crapper. He’s the reason our now modern water closets work so well. Thank you Mr. Crapper. 💖
yes, thank the crap out of him, thank you, thank you , thank you !!!

@@niveknanorc7316 A very good comment, friend. 😂 "Thank the crap out of him" 😁. Many thanks for your humor...I'm serious, bro, no 'crap.'

@@niveknanorc7316 Of course not, man. Tbh, I just thought my last line was a fitting complement to your post 😊.
Bad Wolves did a cover of Zombie upon her passing. All money went to her children. Thank you!! Rest in eternal peace forever loved Ms. O'Riordan.💖💐 One of my sons is named after St. Patrick 🍀
I enjoyed watching your videos,l wish u can visit Chadwick Boseman gravesite
There is a quiet beauty in graveyards. History is laid to rest in these places.
As well as the future
Amor Fati
I love the more natural, almost "untamed" quality of many European graveyards much more than the perfectly manicured grounds of many of the "memorial gardens" here in the US.
Phil Lynott was once asked what it was like to be a black and Irish. His response "A bit like a Guinness".
Show grave site of little walter and Jimmy Reed
Whenever I see you've uploaded, I'm like a little kid! Goodie, goodie, goodie!

Thanks for including my video! Phil Taylor from Motörhead 🔥🥁 so great to see Phil lynott and Ian Curtis included also, incredible musicians and very very missed
The star of Dolores O'Riodan will never fade. She may have tragically been taken far too soon, but THAT voice is immortal.
Thank you for including Luke Kelly. What a musician. What a singer. Luke, you are seriously missed. 🇮🇪 🍺 🪕
The way to live forever in the memory of folks: have Arthur tell your story on Hollywood Graveyard. Thank you to everyone who made this video possible.
RIP Edward Mulhare! Edward also guest starred in Battlestar Galactica and Macgyver. Thanks so much!
Jonathan Swift my favorite author for Gulliver's Travels.
I loved all the Titanic graves and memorials. Violet Jessup was one heck of a woman to survive all three White Star Line ships. Thank you for showing her resting place to someone who will never be able to travel due to medical problems. Also, Bruce Ismay's story breaks my heart. It was reported that he was throwing chairs and anything else that would float overboard before finally boarding a lifeboat out of fear, sent a message back to get home as soon as possible and signed it Yamsi (Ismay backwards), and ended up living his life mostly in solace after being branded a coward for being the senior most official to survive Titanic. Again, thank you, as always, for taking a very sad subject and handling it with grace and dignity.
Violet Jessup is a hero in my eyes. Wow, talk about bad luck and at times good luck.
I read a book around the 100th anniversary of the TiTanic about Ismay, he lived here in Ireland for a while after the events, in a small village and the local children used to give him a hard time. Very Sad😔. As for Violet Jessop wow, but if you knew her past history with ships would you want to be on one with her.🤔☺️
Rest In peace Dolores, I just realize one by one my favorite public figure has leave this world :'(
Wonderfully thrilling, Howard Carter is the reason I LOVE reading about Egypt and all of the excellent stories to be found. Thank you Mr Dark.
I just loved reading about Howard Carter. I was so happy to see his resting place.
Well done Arthur, great job. Thanks for including my footage: Oliver Reed, Rory Gallagher, Margaret Wolfe Hungerford, Danno O’ Mahony, George Boole, Lusitania Graves, Charles Hallahan, Jack Doyle and the Famine Cemetery in Skibbereen. Loved the background music you used !!!!
Ken, thanks for taking the time to shoot the footage. It was a great addition to the whole video.
@@chemicalrecoveryfellowship1721 Thank you CRF. It was my pleasure.
I am hoping my footage makes it into a future part. I was able to capture John Bellushi's grave.
Yes, thank you Ken! How beautiful your country is!
Ken, good job getting so many videos on.
One guy that was tragically missed in this video was Robert Shaw (1927-1978) an actor, novelist, and playwright. His notable films included "Jaws","A Man For All Seasons",and the second James Bond film "From Russia With Love" Well,Shaw was cremated but near where his ashes are scattered is a monument erected to him in Tourmakedy,County Mayo,Ireland.
Great actor.
The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 ,also.
I always wonder with these if they were submitted, but directions weren't followed and the video wasn't able to be used. I imagine there's a lot of submissions that are terrible footage
Was he Irish? I thought he was Scottish.
He was actually born in Westhoughton in-between Bolton and Wigan Gr Manchester.
A few fun facts about George bests grave.
My nana shares the same graveyard as George. And when he has buried there was 24 hours security at the grave for quite a while afterwards as there were fears of grave robbers. And the memorial flowers for him covered hundreds and hundreds of meters of the graveyard. So many people came to pay their respects thays there had to be a queue/walk way system to keep everyone moving smoothly as to not decend into chaos!
I've met his son callum up there a few times lovely guy 🙂
Bravo on another brilliant video!
George and Gerald Du Maurier were grandfather and father of Daphne Du Maurier. When she died her ashes were scattered over Menabilly Head in Cornwall where she lived for so many years.
I wondered if Daphne was related to them. Du Maurier is rather an unusual name. I read Rebecca approximately a million years ago! 🤣 I try to catch the movie with Joan Fontaine & Lawrence Olivier when it's on TV. Thanks for the info!
Thank you. I too was wondering whether Daphne was a relation.
Rory Gallagher, who still to this day is a highly regarded musician, toured incessantly until the 1990’s. Like Lynott, he also has a statue (in Cork city), and thousands make the yearly pilgrimage to visit his grave, statue, and town. Cork also has a well attended, week-long, yearly music festival in his honor (Pandemic permitting).....
Jimi Hendrix once said that he wasn't a great guitarist; Rory Gallagher was.
It’s a beautiful final resting place. Really appropriate for a Rock legend.
My favorite guitar player ever, the fabulous Rory Gallagher.!!!! 💚💙💜
It wasn’t the Beatles, Stones, Kinks, etc., that prompted me to pick up the guitar. It was Rory Gallagher and Danny Kirwan, both lost to the ages.
the sound of your voice is so great, I enjoy listening to you
R.I.P Dolores beautiful voice
Very well done, thank you. I think your videos will last a lot longer than you imagine they will. Who in the future will put so much effort into chronicling so many final resting places of so many famous - and not so famous - figures?
Only the best UA-cam channel is Hollywood graveyard thank you Aurther dark.
I've had my Lena Zafferoni album for more than 50 years! I used to sing with it all the time! Loved it! Still do! Can't wait to dig it out of my record collection!!
Your voice gives solemnity to your excellent production. Thank you.
Mr.Arthur Dark of HOLLYWOOD GRAVEYARD, Is a True master of the Macabre. The "Taphophile" community is "Indebted" to Arthur Dark of Hollywood Graveyard for his presentation and devotion. To the Golden Years of Hollywood.A big heartfelt " Grazie" to Arthur Dark and Hollywood Graveyard. I'm looking forward to more Episodes from Hollowood Graveyard. Nothing but Love for Arthur and the Taphophile community.
C. Aubrey Smith has always been one of my favorite actors. " The Four Feathers " being my favorite of his films. His performance in his last film " Little Women " was very touching.
Ireland, Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotland and England!
I’ve said before and I’ll say it again: Bravo Mr. Dark on another quality production!!!!!!
Dolores O’Riordan: Her death in January 2018 shook me. Many a night in the 1990s I would drive home between 2-5am and about to doze off when Linger would come on the radio and I’d perk up by singing along!
:
Edward Muharram: We used to watch The Ghost and Mrs. Muir on ABC on US television and watch Knight Rider on NBC in the 1980s!
Oliver Reed: The movie “Oliver!” was directed by his uncle Sir Carol Reed. It was such a shock when he died but then in a way not a surprise do to his legendary drinking. In 1999, I was wondering how they were going to complete the movie, Gladiator. Saw the movie twice. If you look close you can tell some of the scenes depicting his character walking in shadow aren’t him!
Veronica Guerin: I remember her murder; journalists doing your job, BEWARE!
Violent Jessop: Sinking ships seemed to be her specialty; she just kept surviving!
Wilfred Hyde-White: I saw his episode of Columbo.
Thomas “Crapper”: The name says it all!
Anton Walbrook: Discovered him in The Red Shoes by accident watching THIS-TV Network at 4am. He did a number of films for The Archers!
As always, you NEVER disappoint. Always informative, respectful and NOT tabloid!
This was a great episode. I've listened to a lot of the musicians in this one. Even the dubliners. I enjoyed seeing the Titanic passengers as well. It's really unbelievable that Jessup kept going on ships after what she went thru. I never knew about Walker but that's quite a story as well. Thank you to all the viewers for the great submissions on this segment. Excellent job putting them all together Arthur!
Thank you for including Scotland in this wonderful video - can't wait for the next installment of the Viewers' Special :)
Another wonderful and informative video. My father witnessed the launching of the Titanic as a boy so when my grandsons class at school where doing a project about the Titanic he was able to relate the story about his great grandfather which left his class amazed at having such a connection to the Titanic. A story he could pass on to his future children.
Thank You for Showing Dolores's Grave.
Time for another day of watching Arthur’s graveyard viewers taking us for a wonderful adventure to visit people’s graves. I once again have to say I really love seeing these viewer specials, and I’m so glad people were willing to do these for you
Another wonderful tribute, near and dear to my heart because my maternal ancestors came to America to escape the potato famine and my paternal ancestors immigrated from Northern Ireland to America with a land grant from George III. I particularly liked the music in this episode.
right there with you buddy.
My wife's ancestors escaped to America to avoid dying of starvation. The migrated to the coal mining communities of Southeast Kentucky, including Harlan Co. They were there during the "Bloody Harlan" times.
I enjoyed seeing Thomas Crapper's grave. I wrote his bio for Find A Grave many years ago. Thank you for all you do Mr. Arthur Dark.
Hey Arthur and viewers who made this video possible thank you for taking me along as we travel to the different places and graveyards on this cold and dreary day, Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas Phyllis
It was awesome to see Phil Taylor's grave. One of my favorite bands is Motorhead. Phil was an awesome musician.
Well done Arthur for compiling this video and thanks for including my video of Edward Mulhare. Great to see a good number of Irish graves featured and thankfully there are plenty more left to be featured in future Viewer Specials.
Dolores O'Riordan
was my favorite in this one. The most surprising one was Harold Godwinson. I was wondering if I would see Terry Jones, Graham Chapman, or Rik Mayal. Wonderful video Arthur. I sure do love them! Thank you kind sir!
Bravo. You certainly have outdone yourself. Time and again you have done a great job bringing those who have passed away to life again. If only for a short while.❤️🌞
I so love these tours of the interesting people of the past and too see their final place of repose, or a monument to them.
So many of them I recognize yet, so many others I don't.
It makes me long for the talent of yore.
The ones I know of feel like true friends. The ones I don't know of, feel like true friends that I wish I could have known of while they were still upon this earthly plain.
One of the few missing so far that I would have loved to have seen is Sir Harry Lauder's final resting place.
Thank you so much Mr. Dark for bringing us all here to share in our favorites.
I feel blessed to be among those who care about the history of those who came before.
Thank you to all who contributed to this too!!!
A sincere Thank you.
Beautifully done Arthur as always.......can I also add that Mike Reid was also a stand up comedian to start with before he acted in Eastenders......an excellent one too!
Thanks so much to all who contributed...fascinating as always.
Wonderful episode! It was especially wonderful to see Peter Cook's resting place.
Greetings from England!
Sending much love and well wishes to everyone and many thanks to all the contributors to the viewers specials! ❤️
Hi our English mates,,,Australia,,Sydney
Wonderfully done. My hat is off to the videographers in this video, as well as to Arthur Dark.
A couple of months ago, I reacquainted myself with Disney's "Peter Pan". I especially loved the songs,
"When You Wish Upon A Star" and "You Can Fly! You Can Fly!"
The last song never fails to lift me out of whatever funk I happen to be in.
Thank ya, folks. Well done.
Thank you for uploading this video. Dolores' death hit me harder than I expected because The Cranberries were the music of my college years. I listened to all of their albums and still do to this day. The only other band I listened to was Roxette. Sadly, Marie is gone too. R.I.P. to both of them.
I learn so much history from Arthur’s posts these stories are so intriguing-Thank you and the people who help you with your posts I look forward to every single one
I salute Harold Lowe for being decent man during the Titanic disaster.
He’s honestly my favorite officer. He’s the most interesting to me. Lightoller is probably 2nd to him.
His “We waited too long” quote in the 1997 version of “Titanic” always chokes me up.
@@chrisocmand6188
I was already choked up before he even said that after Jack’s speech
Okay and the sea of bodies is just hard to watch
Some of these ppl I have heard of, some I have not. But I know them now; I will revisit them & not forget them. Thank you Arthur, weaving a wonderful narrative around them; & thanks to all of those who contributed to this special. Looking forward to seeing more of the same.
Good old Uncle Albert! What a plonker! 😂 Love only fools and horses my favourite sitcom of all time!
I wish I'd had know you were doing another Viewer's Special, because there's a few notable people of from Scotland's past buried in Glasgow Necropolis, maybe for part three I'll be in time to contribute.

I love going on a tour with mrArthur Dark he's good on narrate every one and giving dates and years. Love Mr Dark
That was really cool. I had no idea these videos existed ! I learned a lot about different actors, actresses and historical figures! I think my favorites were the Peter Pan clan. Such tragic stories of the namesakes of the story. They died so young. Now I know where the nickname for a toilet comes from! For some reason I really like knowing why and how people passed away, and seeing old grave sites. I'll have to check out the other videos, thanks for making these! They're very entertaining. And beautiful scenery.
I loved all the Titanic stories too. I've always been interested in that terrible tragedy.
Loved it. Your videos always make me feel like wanting more .
Oliver Reed! Such a crazy, but lovable man! I had the chance of interviewing him many years ago, in 1991 at the Fantafestival in Rome. Luckily for me he was sober and the sweetest man. A GREAT actor, I adored him!
Great video! I love St. Patrick because my family is Irish-American and we have ancestral roots there, including with the The Great Irish Potato Famine which is why my family came to America. St. Patrick is my favorite saint and I love St. Patty's Day in March. I also like the Titanic survivors, the football players, the singer Dolores O'Riordan of the Cranberries, and the people that Peter Pan and the characters are based on.
I found some interesting people in this video. Do you know of any celebrities and/or other famous people who are buried in Hawaii or some other islands, like Tahiti, French Polynesia, etc? I look forward to seeing more videos in the future.
Couldn't wait to watch it, brilliantly done.
Wonderful that you honoured Les Dawson . Wonderful video so many greats 💞
Another great tour visiting beautiful locations. I love Oliver Reed. It was nice to see his final resting place which is a stone's throw from his favorite pub. Thank you Arthur and contributors.
Glad you enjoyed. I was determined to capture this footage of Oliver Reed’s gravesite for Arthur and HG. He did a great job with the narration etc…
I didn't know that Edward Mulhare was Irish! He was pretty good substitute for Rex Harrison in my favorite character of all time, the short lived TV series, "The Ghost and Mrs Muir".
Not only was he Irish, he was from Cork City. Irish by birth, Cork by the grace of God.
So excited for a new episode!! I loved The Cranberries. Oh yeah i remember Edward Mulhare from Knight Rider
So nice to see Ireland included! I know of many famous graves in the cemetery my great aunt is in so next time I may contribute if I can!
There's apparently only one grave in Scotland, however.
Could you please find for me in Ireland Mountjoy cemetery the burial place of someone who means a heck of a lot to me, late irish Actor "Peter Caffrey", Who was aged only 59 when he sadly passed away. He played In lots of TV shows ie "Ballykissangel Garage owner "padraig o'Kelly".. allso "The Hanging Gale", playing the Doctor amongst all 4 mc gann brothers... allso the ace film with the late irish actor "Tony Doyle" "I Went Down".about some gangsters..
@@anne-marierowlings1123 He's one I've yet to visit, I know who you're talking about! I will be getting around a lot more graves this summer :)
edit: I done some research and I think he's buried at Mount Jerome in Dublin if that's where you mean?
Nothing more comforting on UA-cam than Hollywood Graveyard! Many thanks, as always, to Arthur and the team!
Rory Gallagher, Phil Lynott and Philthy Animal Taylor. Rock GODS.
Yay👏! Thank you! I love these, Mr. Dark, and to all those who help out👍
And what a fantastic thing Berrie did. Royalties to a children’s hospital. Too bad more people don’t do that. Seems like all I usually see is families fighting over it.
When I see a new FG video my heart jumps out of my chest. Thanks.
Great edition Arthur. I'm struck by the tragic ending of so many prominent people. Wilfred Hyde White was a familiar face on American TV in the 60's
IKR? Holy cow, the malnutrition one was a surprise.
Sir Wilfred H. Whites Final Performance is " The Toy" 1984 Starring Richard Pryor and Jackie Gleason. The Best Supporting Actors Nomination is For The English Butler; Played By White's Character, Standing Between Pryor And That Spoiled Little Brat " Master Jack"
Circumstances prevent the full "R" Rated
Title ? We Understand. 😆 lol
See "Typo" Correction.
I Crossed Actors Guild lines!
By Naming The wrong Character.
Oh Well.
I’ve always wanted to see where Dolores was buried. I miss her. I was so upset when she died.
I also filmed Dolores grave for this but it wasn’t used here. The cemetery is in the middle of the country, actually next to farmyard so you will probably hear cows there.

I would love to see a Doctor Who themed episode someday! So many people were involved in making it and it's been around for such a long time.
I agree. Its such a long running and iconic series.

I loved The Ghost ans Mrs. Muir growing up and Also Only Fools IS my favorite Britcom!! This is the by far my favorite video in this series. I like seeing my birth town of Cork and I didn't realize how many people I grew up watching and others are buried where they are. I'm usually on top of that kind of thing. Thank You Mr. Dark and everyone who contributed to this. It was the thing I needed after a very weird day! Plus someday, hopefully I can share my footage of the Lee Grave's in Lakeview Seattle... Thanks again...
Glad you enjoyed the footage from Cork. As a fellow Corkonian I felt the need to go filming for HG. Included here were 9 of my vids. I sent in about another 10 but hopefully they will appear sometime in another episode.
I enjoy watching your channel. The fact, that you do your research shows, and i respect that about you, and your channel..
Lena Zavaroni what an amazing voice. RIP
Imagine a pub crawl with Olly Reed and Brendan Behan - 🍻🥃🥂🍸
Yes, and bring along Richard Harris and Peter O’Toole for good measure. Harris’ ashes were scattered off the coast and Peter’s ashes are held in “Uachtarán na hÉireann”, in care of the president of Ireland.
Oh how exciting I look for your vlog always Thanks Mr Dark 🕶️ ❤️👍
This was an excellent video. Many thanks to all who were involved. Was fascinated to learn that George Boole is buried in Cork. Such an incredible impact he had on the present day. Also, Arthur, thanks for taking the time to learn how many of the names are pronounced.
Thanks for featuring my submission of King Harold, glad to see my hometown a Harold featured
Thank you so much for all your work Arthur and I especially love this one which features my own country, 🇮🇪. Your videos are fantastic. Thanks to all who contributed to this video. God bless you all
Another brilliant and interesting show. Bravo Arthur .

Thank you for all your videos.
it really is, i never heard of Lena the young singer.... thank you Mr. Dark, you enlighten us all !!
A great job done by the Graveyard enthusiasts. Thanks to all; enjoyed it immensely!!
I enjoyed this tour and looked forward to it, I wish there had been more to do with Wales and Scotland but maybe in the future...here's hoping. Thank you Mr Dark!
It´s a good thing you´ve started to say the age at the time of their deaths, which you didn´t always do in previous months and videos.
Congratulations for your wonderful Channel!!!
Thank You!!!
Agreed. He misses death year sometimes too. I feel like every one should say age, birthdate, deathdate
Another wonderful and informative tour Mr. Dark. Special thanks to all of the contributors. Wonderful job and thank you for showing us graves around the UK.
And Ireland.
So look forward to these videos. Resting places of many of the people who I remember from my childhood. Also so interesting about the family who played a part in the writing of Peter Pan and their tragic deaths.
I enjoy these foreign cemetery travelogues so very much. Not only is young Mr. Dark's dulcet tone pleasant to the ear, but his dialogue reflects the enormous amount of research required to produce these wonderful episodes. I delight in receiving notification of each new video and I'm certain my fellow taphophiles are in agreement. Do I suffer from COS (Covid Obsessive Syndrome) or did some individual place a surgical mask on Danno O'Mahony's statue? It is fascinating to see the final resting places of luminaries, dignitaries and even the occasional scoundrel. This channel is far superior to others that attempt to tap into the genre of documenting cemeteries. Well done!
Danno had his mask on before I arrived to film, must of known I was coming. 😌
Snowy day here 🇨🇦 but the day just got better with a new Hollywood Graveyard. Thanks once again to Arthur and Hollywood Graveyard for bringing us some sunshine 🌻
Arthur, would you ever consider doing a Titanic themed Hollywood Graveyard special, since quite a few survivors and victims have been featured?
That would be heartbroke to see :'( but i'm curious
I've been thinking about the same thing as I e always been interested in anything Titanic
Same i wanna see that. I'd probably tear up for that one lol.
Then you would need to include Brookwood Cemetery in Surrey for Captain Smith and Sir Cosmo Duff Gordon
Yes it’s a lovely cemetery, I know he’s not there but there is a family grave (bit of a tenuous link maybe!)
Awesome video as always Arthur. Oliver Reed also played the evil, Krokov in my mom's favorite movie, Condorman. RIP to both, Oliver and my mom.
I was one of the few to start watching this. There were only a few of us that had watched it or commented. I had to leave and didn't get a chance to say what an awesome job everyone did! Love this and learn something new. Now there's a few hundred comments and over 11,000 views in just the few hours I was gone. This proves how much your videos are loved!! Wonderful and educational! Thank you!!
Never clicked on so quick love this show god bless you all
So many notable stars in this segment so intriguing from start to finish
Thank you Arthur for this
Poor Dolores O'Riordan. What a voice and gone too soon...
Thank you, Mr. Dark, for uploading a new video!
I love the Paddington Bear stories, thank you to the viewer who got the footage of Michael Bond's grave!
You're welcome! Though I have to give credit to Mr Dark for his excellent editing skills on my raw footage!
Thank you to all who contributed, greatly appreciated. I adore the story Peter and Wendy, J.M Barrie was a wonderful writer. So many think its a disney story....No, no, no! Read the book and be taken away . Bravo All.
What a fabulous selection. I knew so many of our treasured celebrities. Thank you to all who helped make this video.
Always love these videos. Can't wait for the next one already. Thanks Arthur and everyone who sent in footage.
Love this channel. Find so many things interesting that they find about the people who have died. The county in England called Derby is pronounced as If the e is an a so it sounds like Darby. Keep the videos coming Arthur!
Thank you Arthur for including the graves me and my partner filmed Luke Kelly, Brenden Behan, Phil Lynott and John M Synge. At the moment I am filming more famous people in Ireland for your viewers round 3. 😊
