      @@VonOzbourne Same thought. Kept wondering if it would have helped make it more consistent if they added a strip of grip tape down the chute. That way the balls would have a more controlled spin. I guess airsoft players know what that can be like, though in this case it wouldn't be as dramatic as hop up, just (hopefully) more consistent.

      That’s aerodynamic physics
      As the ball falls, air will find a pocket therefore either changing its course all together or theoretically slowing it down due to drag caused by air resistance
      I don’t do science but people are surprised by how much I actually know about.
      Aerodynamics, gravitational force and rotational forces are things that play a specific type of role when an object of any mass is moving vertically, horizontally or diagonal. Every object falls at different speeds and this depends on three major factors in which are shape, size and weight/density.

  • @goracks69
    @goracks69 3 роки тому +3

    Here’s how you fix the tube...
    Every time Heron put a bowling ball in the tube, the ball brushed lightly against the side which gave it a random slight directional rotation. That’s why it never hit centre til you lost the tube. Same thing happened with the old musket balls til they rifled the barrel. You want an accurate drop through a tube? Then rifle the inside of the tube. Problem solved.

    For calculating the height you should use Height = 1/8 *g * (Time to land)^2, makes it much easier to calculate the time since you don't have to "guess" when the ball is at the apex, you can just measure the time between the thuds. Will make it both faster and more accurate to calculate distances :)

    The problem with the chute looks to be that its not ridged enough, because you can see the tube kinda lose its shape because of the strap they have holding it on and you can see the ball pushing it back to the right shape and then lose it once it goes out.
    the two ways i can think of that might fix that issue would be to either get a piece of hard pvc thats around the right size for it or make a shorta hook/candycane looking thing to attach it so it just sets on top of the railing.

    Next time use a pressure gauge and set each ball to the same PSI. Also your chute needs to be made of metal and attached to the raining tightly in several places. It is way too flexible. Glad the last ball worked out so well!

      I assume he is big because i imagine that why they made the product for it to be very big, if it wasnt big then they wouldnt make profit and if it wasnt big then it wouldnt be big which is going back to my original point, it being the whole reason for the product. Like if it wasnt big then it wouldnt be able to be advertised as the biggeat exercise ball now would it? It is red because it absorbs the light of every colour apart from red which is reflects, it does this because they used certain materials etc that reflect red light. I imagine this is because they do not want big red to not be big and red. So yes, he is big and he is red!

    Oh, and the Flex Tape? I suggest you guys Gang up on Gaunson and mermaid him.
    Mermaiding was something we used to do to noob freshmen stagehands in the theatre back in high school...
    You'd tackle him, and then bind up his legs ankle to waist with gaffers tape... find a coconut or seashell top, and a ladies wig from the prop/costume room, and maybe a feather boa and put that on him
    and then leave him some place public to flop around like a landed salmon, for all to appreciate.
    Eventually we'd break out the EMT bandage shears and cut him loose, but not before we'd had a jolly good show.

  • @darthmong7196
    @darthmong7196 3 роки тому

    Just an FYI to Gaunson. We all have a gravity field. We just don't have enough mass to attract anything. Something to think about as you stand there wondering at the Gravity centre.
