My Last Words is my favorite Megadeth song. I love the bass line. Never gets old. I still listen to that song at least once a week every week without fail.

There's nothing like listening straight through a masterpiece like this for the first time and having your face melted off. You should react to So Far, So Good...So What. It's such an underated album, with some great tunes. Production wasn't the greatest on it because they spent most of their money on drugs at the time, but some killer songs.

I'm sure Dave would snort-laugh at hearing you call it a masterpiece. But in 1988 it was just that to me as well. I never went anywhere w/o my peace sells cassette.

4th Rust in Peace
5th Countdown to Extinction
6th Youthanasia
7th (Hidden Treasures) not an official album but a must listen to
8th Cryptic Writings
9th Risk
That takes you around half way of their catalog, should keep you busy for a while

I made it through all 3 parts. It's genuinely a good time watching you react to Megadeth. In my opinion, your reaction was the correct type LOL. In other words, you're my kind of people. I could see hanging out with you,.....y'know I also play bass. Any ways, There are still many albums remaining. Personally, I'd prefer you check out either of the two most recently Megadeth offerings. Both feature Kiko on guitar. He is better than Marty in my opinion (not be a huge amount). We'll Be Back and Night Stalkers are both great songs.

Mate, your reaction to the album was really good! I recommend you listen to Megadeth this way, with entire albums, except Super Collider, Risk and The worlds needs a hero, and I recommend The sick the Dying and the dead, United Abominations and Thirteen!

Such a great album. Love how much joy it brings you! That’s the true magic of this band.
If you liked this, you need to do Killing is my Business. It’s crazier and even more eclectic (I actually like it a little better, which is saying something). And it needed the remaster (Final Kill). So much was lost in the original. Entire parts are either buried or mangled, and the album is full of surprising details that you just can’t hear. Do not react to the original until you’ve heard the Final Kill!

Great reaction! If you do the Killing is my business album, that is the only Megadeth album that I would suggest the remaster called Killing is my business and business is good- The final kill.🤘🏻👍🏻

'I Ain't Superstitious' is a cover of a song from Howlin' Wolf in 1961. Megadeth recorded 3 covers on each of their first 3 albums. I heard before that the record company made them, whether that's true or not. On the first album is 'These Boots' a complete rewrite of 'These Boots are Made For Walking'. The third cover was 'Anarchy in the UK' of course by the Sex Pistols. Megadeth has a few other covers as well, including 2 from their last album. BTW, that's Chris playing the solos on 'Superstitious'. 'My Last Words' is a killer song, often overlooked. Killer bass line. Killer solo from Dave. The perfect ending for the album.
