- WARNING: SPOILERS for the entirety of "Bodyguard," consisting of a major death, lots of blood, bombs, and suicide attempts. I'm so glad I watched this series. I initially watched for Richard Madden but this is seriously a very compelling story. And I've been dying to do something with this cover of "Zombie" and thought "Bodyguard" was the perfect candidate. Anyway, all info is at the very end of the video. Hope everyone enjoys and feedback is appreciated as always.

Man when he broke down talking to his wife with the bomb vest strapped to him , I can't lie, this grown man cried.
Imagine spending a week doing these emotional scenes. Talk about taking an emotional toll on an actor. Richard said in some interview that he was pretty much wrecked even though he isn't a method actor.
I'll tell you what's in my head - this song and this video! What a perfect coupling and an amazing interpretation of David's emotional turmoil throughout the series, not only with those around him but, perhaps more importantly, with his inner self. Thank you so much for creating this fabulous tribute to the show. :)

The bodyguard is a phenomenal show. I'never been more anxious while watching a show
Richard Madden delivered an incredible performance. You could feel his emotions and tension tearing him apart. He never over acted, it was subtle and honest which moved you.
Bodyguard is a show that everyone needs to watch, you like drama... bodyguard. you like cop shows...bodyguard. you like romance...bodyguard. you like action...bodyguard. It has everything. The writing is brilliant, the first 25 minutes of episode one, now that was intense. Each episode has you wanting more, you can't stop until you have watched everything. Richard Madden, brilliant. David Budd the character he plays, he was so broken after her death like he tried to kill himself. I felt awful for him like i wanted to reach through the screen and tell him don't do it.

Honestly, this came up on my recommended and this was one of the more surprising things to come up. I'll tell you why, because this should have appeared on my recommends sooner. It's an absolute masterpiece. You have obviously seen the inner meaning of what Bodyguard reflects in the big world. A man who returns home from the conflict and when he becomes the bodyguard to Julia Montague and has to deal with if not more traumatic events which awaken his state as someone who was scarred by the war. Honestly it's one of my favourite series, the acting is spot on. The action reflects just how brave these men and women have to be when they are protecting a very important political figure. I sure as hell could never see myself do it but I respect those who do it. What's more this was absolutely amazing and so glad that I listened to it. ❤

I love this edit so much, you've captured Dave's emotional chaos so well. Just like in the series, it feels more and more like he's drowning and the viewer is drowning with him.
