This video should have a million views. As Believers in Christ it seems we have a long way to go in understanding the enormous diversity and capacity of our heavenly father. Here's to a 21st century reformed theology celebrating inclusiveness and diversity. May the lord forgive our cultural transgressions of the past.
I miss you brother Richard. It was a blessing ministering with you. Thank you my brother. We will meet again one day in heaven with our Creator Jesus, our Chief Cornerstone.
I deeply miss brother Richard Twiss. I was awesome ministering with him when he was on Mother Earth. He is sorely missed by man. Please share his word with others. This link is an important link for our people and those around the world..... Glory to God.
I had the chance to hear him speak and dance with him. He changed my life. I thought, finally! Someone that not only "gets" it. But, goes out into the world to tell others. I hope to be more like him, everyday.
Richard Twiss' presentation was a turning point moment for CCDA. It was clear from that point forward that the Indigenous people of north America must be apart of the conversation toward biblical reconciliation and innovation. And for myself the challenge was just as profound. Additionally, the grace presented is remarkable.
I'm am only sad that I never heard him speak or met this man as he has journeyed on but he did leave us with this and it is a mountain. In our lifetimes how will they measure what we leave behind ???
What a great moment to listen to him at Tshwane Transformation conference in South Africa in 2010. I still have pics I took with him. May his soul rest in peace.
Excellent presentation. What a great man of wisdom and inspiration. BTW, great point on how the sacred drum was made. If the white man thinks all things of nature (trees, plants, water & animals) are "demonic". They need some serious deep soul searching and help.
I usually love and agreed with this man. I appreciated most of what was said in this video. The one thing he said that has me questioning is when he said that the Native traditional myths and stories were equally valid to the Biblical ones. I believe Creator revealed himself to our people but I believe the enemy has also skewed some of those stories over time. The Bible, however, being that it is written can still be traced to scripts from thousands of years ago (like Dead Sea Scrolls) to show that it is still over 99% the same as it was some many thousands of years ago. I believe the Bible is the foundation of Truth and that any cultural story should be examined through the lenses of the Bible. So if my tribe has a story of the Flood, how does it compare and contrast to the Biblical account of the Flood? Or Creation? or Peacemaker coming to bring an end to the division of humankind? How do all these stories relate or differ from the Bible, the Sacred Book, the Voice of Creator?
how do you know that the enemy has not skewed the bible and it's base documents. your thoughts and statements are exactly what this Brother was talking abou.

I was at this conference and was truly inspired by Richard Twiss to promote respectful community development.

I love it when natives worship Yahweh!

A native American president is needed for that native American country

@@rickbeckham4401 My original statement already answers that.
Scripture is authority this was the only issue I have with this type of theology.
