- High performance rides for the little ones. There is no better way to groom the next generation of mountain bike riders and racers than starting them early. Modern kids’ bikes are a far cry from the Schwinn Stingrays that many of their parents learned to ride on. These bikes have many of the same technical features of adult bikes, making them more capable and fun to ride than ever. #mountainbike #kidsbikes #bikereview

"These 3 bikes start at one thousand...."
You're out of your mind if you think a 6 year old is going to get a $1000+ bike.
Actually the ones the people in our area look at are between 2 and 4 thousand. Although one is on sale for 1700$ right now. Woot
For perspective. My daughter was riding the local full track at 3. Never had training wheels. She is 7 now. She clears the table tops at the dirt jump track. And I take her up to mount washington for downhill. And she isn't even on the extreme side. Some of the kids around here send it. Bikes are tools for the job. Good tools cost money. That's life.
The commencals are WAY too heavy for kids. Im also super disappointed you didnt include the Woom Off Air. Absolutely great kids bikes.
Right?!
The woom 20” looks darn good rigid too and not a bad price
Woom is overrated
@@robnzombizhow so? I haven’t seen anything that can beat it?
@@ttengineer404diamond back is better
Both my kids ride a rocky mountain reaper. Great geometry. Double suspension are quite expensive but hold value if they are well maintain.
Missed the mark leaving Woom’s line up off of this list.
I bought my kid a Trek 20” Roscoe, which was too heavy for her. Within a month I bought a Woom Off Air 4, several pounds lighter and quality kid size components (ex. trek has adult cable brakes). So not only did we pick up a fork, we lost weight. Yes, it cost more, but is a great bargain compared to the majority of bikes on your list.
A good bike out there that no one really knows about is the BMC twostroke 20. You can find it on sale for $499. It comes with the SDG jr pro kit, tektro hydraulic brakes, kenda tires, x4 drivetrain. From what I have found online is that it is just over 20lbs not the best weight but lighter than many out there. It comes with a fun sticker kit for the kids too. I ordered one because it’s comparable to others bikes at almost double the price.
Update unofficially using a house scale the bike weighed 18.5lbs with pedals and an online weight I just found said 18.9
Sounds great!@@yamahschector
Did my parents spoiled me ? They got me A full sus e-bike for my birthday
yes they definitely did
Depends what brand and model I guess
Quick question to anyone who can be arsed replying..... I've just been looking at wild bikes for my sons they seem really light and well made but that's as far as my knowledge goes on bikes , does anyone on here know anything about these wild bikes ?
What about the GT Stomper FS, it looks like a great bike?
How about some affordable ones je-zo
What about some bikes that are a little cheaper?
The best kids bikes are from VPACE both hardtail and fullsuspension. Also Propain is missing, the Yuma is way better compared with Commencal, Scott or the Transition.
Nice 👍

fezzari doesn't do youth bikes any longer.
And for street wolf 🐺
Looking to get my 8/9yr old son a used 2021 26 Rocky Mountain Reaper or the 2023 Marin Rift zone 26 bnew.
I’m in the same boat looking at both of those bikes for my 8 yr old.
@@TheCureThatKillz i got my kid a 2024 rocky mountain reaper 26 and changed the wheels to 24 as he's still short for the 26. Components are much better than the Marin. Though there's a price difference, upgrading the Marin's components will likely cost you close to repear's price and it's difficult to find stores that sell them. One more reason why I chose the reaper over the rift zone is the resell value. 2018s still sell high here. So if my 2 kids use the reaper for 5 years then I'd still get a good amount of money from it maybe to purchase a newer bike by then.
@iamkzonjames do you mind to share what parts do you need to swap from 26" bike to 24"?
@@jackychuang4692 you just need to buy a 24" wheel set.tyres and rims. If you got the rocky mountain make sure you buy boost hubs for your wheels
cool
