Trader Joe's Honey Hydration Duo, while not a dupe for Farmacy's Honey Halo, I really like it. The fragrance is extremely mild; I can't smell it. Night cream is thick, not greasy, and absorbs well. It left my face hydrated, soft and smooth looking. The day cream is very light, and also absorbs quickly. No pilling under make up. NOTE this is a seasonal, thus temporary, release. I would not say it's a "holy grail" but definitely fun for $8 and great if you just want a straight up moisturizer without a lot of actives or if you use active containing serums. Thumbs up. Will repurchase. A pleasant user experience with good price and ingredients.
I’m a retired dental hygienist, and want to thank you for talking about canker sores. I also suffer from chronic canker sores and I have had MD’s tell me they are herpetic! Of course I ignore that because I know better😂. I ended up having Sjögren’s syndrome. Another thing that aggravated them for me was using a Sonic type electric toothbrush! I think it was the high speed vibration, I still use an electric toothbrush but changed to one that has a more mechanical action!

The TJ glycolic acid body cream is SO STRONGLY fragranced! I am trying to use it up on my feet and then covering with socks at night but I have to wash my hands afterwards because the scent is overpowering. Love that Midnight Dream Hand and Body lotion. It used to be in a different package. The coconut body butter is great!
You don't like 4 way stops? Try yields or round abouts. They're absolutely Russian Roulette because at least with 4 way, they hopefully are coming from a stopped position lol. They do slow traffic a lot though.
In the CBD of Melbourne (Australia) we have "Hook turns" on main crossroads. This means that when you are turning right you need to drive into the LEFT side of the intersection and wait until there's a green light to go right. I'm fine with hook turns, but be prepared if you are visiting. Oh, we drive on the left side of the road too. The good thing is that the roads in the CBD are in a grid, so it's easy to navigate, as a driver or pedestrian. 👱🏻♀️❤️

The Midsummer Night Body and Hand Cream used to come in the white plastic bottle with light green sticker label. The new formula feels different, I prefer the old version, less greasy. Dr Dray! I actually started using it from your recommendation years ago (then I switch over to Cerave Moisturizing Cream).
I use all my skincare on my hands. I also have the blister eczema on my hands and feet so I use a PHA toner and hyaluronic acid serum on both. It helps so much more than the $700 prescription ointments

I just got this awesome vanilla pumpkin hand soap/hand lotion set at Trader Joe’s. I could smell pumpkin spice in the aisle, which I am a sucker for. This woman told me she just tried the sample which smelled amazing. After one pump I was sold. The lotion has a lot of great ingredients such as safflower seed oil, glycerin, capric triglyceride, shea butter, along with oat kernel oil, bisabol, carrot seed oil, jojoba oil, avocado oil, squalane, and tocopheryl. It made my hands feel soft and smell great. I’d definitely recommend.
I do the same skin care regimen on my neck, chest and back of hands so they can look the same age as my face. I use .025 tretinoin with moisturizer mixed in and it seems to be well tolerated.
I bought those laundry bags on your recommendation. They are better than any other I've tried. Besides undergarments, I put my silk or satin pillow cases in them and it keeps the delicate fabric safe.
Hi Dr for the.chest are I have been using : Dearskin Tranex Acid 5% and is very soothing and makes my chest look moisturized and glowing. I have very sensitive skin and have had no problems.
Canker sores and dry cracked hands in the Fall/Winter are my two pains. The Santa Ana Winds have arrived here in SoCal which means my hands are about to flare up but I’m excited to try the Eucerin Advanced Repair hand cream you recommended in another video.

I've not tried this yet but I hate when I have to cut things open to get the remaining 51 more uses out of the container. I just cut it open and then store it in a ziplock bag. That happens with toothpaste also, there is so much more left in that too so you don't want to just toss it.
@@sable7114 brands really have to make their packaging that we can use the last drop of the product, but skin1004 hyalu is good but I have like 1/2 of product left and pump is not letting me getting anymore out. And the bottle is hard plastic I can’t even cut it open…. I don’t mind cut open stuff to use last drop but I have the hassle of cutting them

Thank you very much for all of your suggestions and recommendations, we use them all. My teenager had a few pimples and he really likes the pimple patch he uses that every day. I recently bought him Differin Gel (on sale) him and he just started it but he tells me he prefers the patch (he also has eczema but not on the face anymore). I remembered that I could be using Differin Gel as well for a Retinol so I just started it. Differin Gel is surprisingly small. I recently started having these Milia I believed, so hopefully it helps too.

Good question! Some people use Saran wrap (cling wrap/Glad wrap) on their feet over foot creams & Vaseline, before they put on socks. I was thinking of doing it, but I don't know how long I will be able to tolerate the weird feeling 🤔 👱🏻♀️❤️
Ahh I’m so disappointed the honey day and night creams have fragrance since that triggers my rosacea. I LOVE the Farmacy honey moisturizer but my wallet doesn’t so I was really hoping this was a dupe when I saw it in your thumbnail 😢
I love hand creams, I’ve tried them all it seems like lol my favorite is the original neutrogena one and Vaseline has a healthy nail one that is good. I’m actually more into using lanolin more so than petroleum jelly on my cuticles but of course don’t use it if you have an allergy. Random question but can you do a video on boils? I’ve had a recurring one and it’s so frustrating.

I like how it’s cooling upon application. I have noticed sometimes my skin will become weepy though. Not sure if that’s from the lotion or if that would’ve happened otherwise
I care about my hands and arms, so I use some face products on face, chest, hands, and maybe arms. The older I get, the more my skin needs TLC. Sun protection is a must:)
Wonder if the New TJ Honey Day//Night creams are a DUPE for the Guerlain Abeille Royale Honey Treatment Cream ($150-bucks/jar) OR the Pharmacy Honey Halo ceramide cream ($45-bucks:jar) And If they’re close dupes, then I’m in cuz these creams are super luxurious and emollient. But not at that crazy price point. OHHH! And yeah, The Trader Joe’s candles are very nice
A noticeable difference btwn DHC and HadaLabo cleansing oils is the DHC is more viscous when squirting it into my hand. Years ago I bought DHC deep cleansing oil whenever it was on sale in their catalogs. I agree it feels like spa quality, very luxurious. They make a lighter cleansing oil that's also wonderful. I'm half way thru my first bottle of the HadaLabo oil and like it better than DHC for double cleansing at the sink because it seems easier to rinse off. But I'm going to try other oil cleansers next.

my hand eczema went down significantly when i reintroduced fragranced hand soap (equate version of softsoap). its crazy but im not complaining

I've not tried this yet but I hate when I have to cut things open to get the remaining 51 more uses out of the container. I just cut it open and then store it in a ziplock bag. That happens with toothpaste also, there is so much more left in that too so you don't want to just toss it.
@@sable7114 brands really have to make their packaging that we can use the last drop of the product, but skin1004 hyalu is good but I have like 1/2 of product left and pump is not letting me getting anymore out. And the bottle is hard plastic I can’t even cut it open…. I don’t mind cut open stuff to use last drop but I have the hassle of cutting them

Your review got me to try Skin1004's hyalu-cica serum. LOVE that stuff. I refrigerate mine and it feels so good when it goes on the skin! I use it twice daily.

Thank you very much for all of your suggestions and recommendations, we use them all. My teenager had a few pimples and he really likes the pimple patch he uses that every day. I recently bought him Differin Gel (on sale) him and he just started it but he tells me he prefers the patch (he also has eczema but not on the face anymore). I remembered that I could be using Differin Gel as well for a Retinol so I just started it. Differin Gel is surprisingly small. I recently started having these Milia I believed, so hopefully it helps too.

Hi Dr Dray! Speaking of foot care, I was wondering if there are any studies that mention if it is more effective to use silicone socks vs cotton socks for overnight foot treatments? Some people have said that cotton socks just absorb the product
Good question! Some people use Saran wrap (cling wrap/Glad wrap) on their feet over foot creams & Vaseline, before they put on socks. I was thinking of doing it, but I don't know how long I will be able to tolerate the weird feeling 🤔

Ahh I’m so disappointed the honey day and night creams have fragrance since that triggers my rosacea. I LOVE the Farmacy honey moisturizer but my wallet doesn’t so I was really hoping this was a dupe when I saw it in your thumbnail 😢
I love hand creams, I’ve tried them all it seems like lol my favorite is the original neutrogena one and Vaseline has a healthy nail one that is good. I’m actually more into using lanolin more so than petroleum jelly on my cuticles but of course don’t use it if you have an allergy. Random question but can you do a video on boils? I’ve had a recurring one and it’s so frustrating.
She has talked about them in some videos regarding things like bleach baths, hibiclens, ichthammol, etc.
try benzoyl peroxide cleanser. esp if its HS

@@Hemmyii I have it, and use it here and there when I’m itchy. I just used it right now for an itchy spot behind the knee. However I have been Trying to finish up older products. I like how it’s cooling upon application. I have noticed sometimes my skin will become weepy though. Not sure if that’s from the lotion or if that would’ve happened otherwise
I care about my hands and arms, so I use some face products on face, chest, hands, and maybe arms. The older I get, the more my skin needs TLC. Sun protection is a must:)

Funny, I use my kitchen towels all the time. I do have paper towels for an occasional use but kitchen towels is where it's at in my house.

Wonder if the New TJ Honey Day//Night creams are a DUPE for the Guerlain Abeille Royale Honey Treatment Cream ($150-bucks/jar) OR the Pharmacy Honey Halo ceramide cream ($45-bucks:jar) And If they’re close dupes, then I’m in cuz these creams are super luxurious and emollient. But not at that crazy price point. OHHH! And yeah, The Trader Joe’s candles are very nice
I liked the sunscreen but burnt my eyes. I love their candles and can never wait to the next smell.
I purchased the DHC from Target a few years ago. It worked but had a 6 month shelf life. The oil went off after a several months by the smell of it.
I use HadoLabo cleansing oil and love it! Can I just use Mineral Oil alone instead?

A noticeable difference btwn DHC and HadaLabo cleansing oils is the DHC is more viscous when squirting it into my hand. Years ago I bought DHC deep cleansing oil whenever it was on sale in their catalogs. I agree it feels like spa quality, very luxurious. They make a lighter cleansing oil that's also wonderful. I'm half way thru my first bottle of the HadaLabo oil and like it better than DHC for double cleansing at the sink because it seems easier to rinse off. But I'm going to try other oil cleansers next.
I can’t decide between Hada Labo and Kose cleansing oils. Curious if others have a strong preference
