I’ve used this Image sunscreen for years and I love it! Doesn’t pill on me, doesn’t look dry if anything it’s a nice, mildly glowy primer. I don’t think it smells like gum I think it’s a little more of a flowery smell but light and not overwhelming at all
We used the "image " skincare line at a spa I used to work for and I was always amazed how it was listed as fragrance-free when it smelt straight up like "fruit stripe gum" LMAO I was always curious if they were lying as well but hopefully not! many of the clients really enjoyed that sunscreen and it blends in well to many skin types! I personally really like the sunscreen too but it's rather pricey

I am very sensitive to fragrances and have sensitive acne prone skin but I just wanted to share that I have never had any bad reactions to this sunscreen and feel it’s very effective. Understand it probably won’t be for everyone, but just sharing some feedback in case it’s helpful to others.
Today we celebrated Father’s Day at the the lake. A full day in the sun, and it was clear and bright-the UV index had to be off the charts. My skin is fine, no redness or color at all! Board shorts , long sleeve upf shirt, broad brimmed hat, sunglasses and lots of water resistant mineral sunscreen frequently applied. Thank you Andrea, for teaching us all how to take care of our skin.
The best predictor for watermelon is how hollow it sounds (hollow being better) imo. You can knock on them to find the best one. I also agree with the yellow spot being sweeter :)

I have to say that the Image sunscreen is one of my absolute favorites for the winter and I use the Australian Gold tinted for the summer and love both.
I’ve been using this exact sunscreen (SPF 50) for around 2 years now and actually enjoy the smell! It’s moisturizing and feels great all day. Have noticed my skin is much softer and does good job protecting from damage. Wish it was about $10-$12 less expense, that the only drawback for me. Initially my esthetician recommended.
I once ordered a bible, a ziplock case and some highlighters and had no idea where the package was. Anyway, this car pulls up on a Saturday (Auspost don't deliver on weekends) and this woman claimed that it got delivered to her at some weird address. She quickly hurried off, got in the car and it sped away. I noticed they'd opened the package and it was pretty obvious her or someone else must have stole it off my porch... I was thinking, lol guilty conscience much...you must've been disappointed by that one 😂 Perhaps she read a few chapters and it put the fear of God in her.

I love image skincare, especially their acne and vital C line. It has helped my skin so much! I also love their retinal products. It is a bit pricey, but they seem to last a long time. I use the oil free sunscreen, it does smell like bubblegum lol but feels great all day.

I actually like Image Sunscreen. It doesn't burn my eyes and applies nicely. Actually what I smell is black licorice. I kind of wonder if it has licorice in it. It's only $44 and lasts a long time for 3.4 oz. I have sensitive skin and none of their products irritate me. I use a lot of their products.

A huge language distinction is that its "fragrance free" and not fragrance added. A product can be fragrance free and have no added scent but instead have a natural scent as a result of the ingredients.
I have been *loving* the Walgreens clear zinc spf 50 sunscreen (green tube) after watching your Walgreens video where you praised them! I got a bogo half off deal so it came out to be around $10 for 2! Cheap, fragrance free, water resistant, Dry’s matte but gives a nice healthy glow...I also find it minimizes the oiliness I use to always produce throughout the day when I never wore sunscreen! Could see it being a great sunscreen “primer” for under makeup as well. Definitely a favorite! 👍🏻 Happy Saturday!🙂

I bounced too hard the first day, for 10 minutes. The second day, my lower back was too sore. The third day, Sunday, I baby bounced and did a light side to side jog, for 20 minutes. I just love it!! Thank you for recording yours!! I worked on my mat, 12 cores exercises,,and lifted arm weights, 6 pounds. Then, after my work out, I was hungry, and are two soft, salty pretzel sticks, with Dijon mustard. Wowza, enough salt!!! I always crave a carb, after workout. I made homemade strawberry chia jam, no sugar added, and it tastes yummy, in an everything bagel. Also, I am using purador, Rosehill seed oil on my face, neck, and shoulders, every morning and night, to remove age spots and under eye wrinkles. It just feels like it is hydrating my 53 year old skin better!! I had at least five bad burns, in my youth. Thank you for your videos and skin help!! But now that I have learned a lot of sunscreens thanks of you, started using minerals sunscreens, right now using Cerave tinted that is a good one and with affordable price. Also, used Drmtlgy but no like the octixonate ingredient on it. The Image is so expensive with chemicals ingredients unsafe also for the reef. Appreciate your valuable information. Now I feel more confident when buying sunscreens and try to avoid bad ingredients for the skin. Thank you.

I’ve always loved the various methods to determine ripeness of watermelon. I swear by my grandmother’s method: it should feel heavy for its size, especially in comparison to another (indicates significant liquid). Who knows. Enjoy.

I found best fragrance free oil to cleanse by naturplanet and it's say green tea aroma on the bottle, but in the ingredient list there is no fragrance, only Camelia sinensis oil but it smells citrusy kinda like lemongrass. R they lying or this oil could smell like this?
Image skincare is smart at engaging professional aestheticians recommend their product. I used the sunscreen and it worked very well. Now I used the biome serum , vitamin c and illuminating cream as well. Too soon to see results but so far so good. Nothing negative except the price
Fragrance free means no synthetic fragrance added, smell is most likely coming from ingredient. Fragrance free and unscented are 2 different things. Unscented products can actually have added chemicals to mask scent of ingredients.

No Cow Bar recently changed their formula, so it might be worth trying out the lemon again or any other flavors that you didn't like. They changed the type of fiber they used and it has helped improve the flavor and texture (to me at least). Just make sure it has the wrapper with the new shiny lettering.
I found that moisturizer was a bit greasy under my makeup. I actually liked the fragrance. Definitely has a fragrance! I wanted to see what do you think of the image ageless facial cleanser. It's supposed to have aha. Is it ok to use with retinol at night?
Loved image facial sunscreen, light, no breakouts, or reactions. BUT, they since changed its formula it’s now it’s texture is like glue and the sweet scent is gone. Only in the last 6 months or so. My face looks pasty white and feels like leather after application of it. Terrible now, will try the copper tone for sure! Thanks all.

my farming family in Iowa always tell me to get the watermelon with the largest yellow area on one side because it means it sat in the field till it was ripe and not picked too early. I think they must grow the mini ones a different way so they don't lay on the ground.

I have used Image for years and all of their products are shiny and sticky. I have kept with the oil-free SPF 32; it's shiny too. I like the scent and doesn't break me out, which is why I keep using it. Their products are way overpriced. I started using Elta MD 46 tinted, and that's shiny too, but it has niamicide (B3), and I like it. I use Supeegoop SPF 45 setting powder over it, and it mattifies it some. Is there any Sunscreen that doesn't make one shiny? Them being so shiny accentuates my acne scars, which I hate.
I’ve used IMAGE tented sunscreen and foundation. Overall, it was a waste of money. The shade range wasn’t light enough for me. I threw it away after a few uses. I got it from a med spa.

The only ok SPF that Image makes in my opinion, is the Matte version. It's much thicker than what you would assume something marketed towards oily skin types would be. It still has that scent, but it goes on smooth and leaves the skin looking hydrated, not shiny.
Dr dray, I use retinal pads at night time and I was wondering how would I use my moisturizer with it? You say to moisturize on wet skin but I’m not sure whether to use my pads before or after the retinal pads?
Dr Dray, why do esthetician and spas recommend Image Skincare products? They are super expensive and I am not sure about the results. I had an aesthetic procedure done and after that they gave me a free treatment for my skin and they used Image Skincare products. The products smell of citrus. My skin is combo and after the treatment it was much more oily. My esthetician swear for those products ...
(Edit) I've opened a newer one recently. Feels very thick and different. The addition of homosalate and removal of some zinc oxide as actives. The first few ingredients are also different. It's much more viscous; feels more like an older sunscreen in the application. Be wary if its not something you like. I don't enjoy it, and now have to look for another. =( --------------------------- I've used it for about 7 years. For a period of time, I was promoting it at a past job. It was marketed much more as a Moisturizer with sunscreen versus a sunscreen that's moisturizing if that makes sense. I wouldn't suggest it unless someone has an esthetician/doctor's account with 'Image'. (Reduced pricing) I think people like that it's their moisturizer and sunscreen. They(Image Skincare) has a matte and hydrating formula, however it only has spf 30. Since its my moisturizer, I don't reapply with it unless i cleanse in the afternoon or something. I'd go with something else for reapplication, should anyone be interested. I'm not sure what the smell is from. The 4th ingredient on mine is Apple fruit cell culture extract. (This could be a contributing smell, among others)

I love Image skincare Sunscreen , its hydrating to my skin and I never felt any dry spots after application.. plus its a physical formula sunscreen and I personally prefer this formula compared to chemical formula sunscreen. ofcourse when you wana enjoy hot summer days in your pool or the beach..then chemical formulas are better on skin. For everyday wear I prefer Image physical formula sunscreen.

Peekaboo I C U ...thank you for your reply :) I alternated glycolic w/retinol and it kinda reacted. Or it maybe by new green tea Line morning gel cleanser by innisfree and it’s cleansing oil...really not sure. But dr rattan says that glycolic isn’t really good for coloured skin...
I had my first facial last year. She sold Image skincare. She talked me into buying a $30 oil cleanser. I purchased the No7 brand oil cleanser for $8 and it is exactly the same.
The formulation may easily have changed since you tried it, or the formula in Europe cause be slightly different due to regulation, bu it definitely doesn’t smell like bubblegum here it’s more of a subtle granola or bran cereal smell

The prevention + daily matte moisturizer spf 32+ is their oil free sunscreen. It’s wonderful for oily/acne prone skin.

I had the exact same thought! I love the scent, and I haven’t had a reaction, but I still don’t understand how they make it smell so good.
I had that thought with the CeraVe moisturizing cream. It smells so nice but without fragrance???!!!
The bar has fragrance. It’s Ethylene Brassylate, which is synthetic musk. If you have no problems with it, there’s no need to demonize fragrance.

My go to spf is from image. I use the prevention + daily matte moisturizer oil-free. It does smell fruity. I love it and won't be without it.

I found best fragrance free oil to cleanse by naturplanet and it's say green tea aroma on the bottle, but in the ingredient list there is no fragrance, only Camelia sinensis oil but it smells citrusy kinda like lemongrass. R they lying or this oil could smell like this?
Image skincare is smart at engaging professional aestheticians recommend their product. I used the sunscreen and it worked very well. Now I used the biome serum , vitamin c and illuminating cream as well. Too soon to see results but so far so good. Nothing negative except the price
Fragrance free means no synthetic fragrance added, smell is most likely coming from ingredient. Fragrance free and unscented are 2 different things. Unscented products can actually have added chemicals to mask scent of ingredients.

I use Image moisturizer with SPF30, not as shiny as the SPF 50. I really like it, easy to blend and very minimal white cast. Walmart sells it for $22
Hi, Which one do you use. I have tried once the Prevention Daily hydrating moisturizer spf 30+. It was nice. but a little too dry for me. But it did not sting my senstive eyes.

No Cow Bar recently changed their formula, so it might be worth trying out the lemon again or any other flavors that you didn't like. They changed the type of fiber they used and it has helped improve the flavor and texture (to me at least). Just make sure it has the wrapper with the new shiny lettering.

I found that moisturizer was a bit greasy under my makeup. I actually liked the fragrance. Definitely has a fragrance! I wanted to see what do you think of the image ageless facial cleanser. It's supposed to have aha. Is it ok to use with retinol at night?

Loved image facial sunscreen, light, no breakouts, or reactions.
BUT, they since changed its formula it’s now it’s texture is like glue and the sweet scent is gone. Only in the last 6 months or so. My face looks pasty white and feels like leather after application of it. Terrible now, will try the copper tone for sure! Thanks all.
Do you put a different sunscreen on your eye lids aside from the one that you put on your forehead checks and chin? My eye burns when I put it on my eyelids. I'd let me know. Thank you!

my farming family in Iowa always tell me to get the watermelon with the largest yellow area on one side because it means it sat in the field till it was ripe and not picked too early. I think they must grow the mini ones a different way so they don't lay on the ground.

I have used Image for years and all of their products are shiny and sticky. I have kept with the oil-free SPF 32; it's shiny too. I like the scent and doesn't break me out, which is why I keep using it. Their products are way overpriced. I started using Elta MD 46 tinted, and that's shiny too, but it has niamicide (B3), and I like it. I use Supeegoop SPF 45 setting powder over it, and it mattifies it some. Is there any Sunscreen that doesn't make one shiny? Them being so shiny accentuates my acne scars, which I hate.

I’ve used IMAGE tented sunscreen and foundation. Overall, it was a waste of money. The shade range wasn’t light enough for me. I threw it away after a few uses. I got it from a med spa.

The only ok SPF that Image makes in my opinion, is the Matte version. It's much thicker than what you would assume something marketed towards oily skin types would be. It still has that scent, but it goes on smooth and leaves the skin looking hydrated, not shiny.
Dr dray, I use retinal pads at night time and I was wondering how would I use my moisturizer with it? You say to moisturize on wet skin but I’m not sure whether to use my pads before or after the retinal pads?

Dr Dray, why do esthetician and spas recommend Image Skincare products? They are super expensive and I am not sure about the results. I had an aesthetic procedure done and after that they gave me a free treatment for my skin and they used Image Skincare products. The products smell of citrus. My skin is combo and after the treatment it was much more oily. My esthetician swear for those products ...

(Edit) I've opened a newer one recently. Feels very thick and different. The addition of homosalate and removal of some zinc oxide as actives. The first few ingredients are also different. It's much more viscous; feels more like an older sunscreen in the application. Be wary if its not something you like. I don't enjoy it, and now have to look for another. =(

I've used it for about 7 years. For a period of time, I was promoting it at a past job. It was marketed much more as a Moisturizer with sunscreen versus a sunscreen that's moisturizing if that makes sense.
I wouldn't suggest it unless someone has an esthetician/doctor's account with 'Image'. (Reduced pricing)
I think people like that it's their moisturizer and sunscreen. They(Image Skincare) has a matte and hydrating formula, however it only has spf 30. Since its my moisturizer, I don't reapply with it unless i cleanse in the afternoon or something.
I'd go with something else for reapplication, should anyone be interested. I'm not sure what the smell is from. The 4th ingredient on mine is Apple fruit cell culture extract. (This could be a contributing smell, among others)

I have that Image sunscreen & do not like it! Wish I would have seen this first before I dropped the $. I also have the Image ageless total anti-aging serum, your thoughts on it? I feel I get more from the Cerave you recommend & for so much less.
I love Image skincare Sunscreen , its hydrating to my skin and I never felt any dry spots after application.. plus its a physical formula sunscreen and I personally prefer this formula compared to chemical formula sunscreen. ofcourse when you wana enjoy hot summer days in your pool or the beach..then chemical formulas are better on skin. For everyday wear I prefer Image physical formula sunscreen.

I had my first facial last year. She sold Image skincare. She talked me into buying a $30 oil cleanser. I purchased the No7 brand oil cleanser for $8 and it is exactly the same.

FYI You can buy tropical soil that will be really great for that plant! Just ask at a nursery.
The formulation may easily have changed since you tried it, or the formula in Europe cause be slightly different due to regulation, bu it definitely doesn’t smell like bubblegum here it’s more of a subtle granola or bran cereal smell
