- Helldivers 2 patch 1.000.400 came out just last week, and during that time I've been trying to find if the changes were at all impactful. Here's what I found... NO!

Any thoughts on the fact that the top comments in your last video on this topic is pointing out how you are lying/exaggerating about everything and they have more likes then your video? Ever consider that the game is hitting the mark for its target audience and thats not you?

You must have had the video on mute if you think everything he said was true. Here is a complete list of everything incorrect/stupid they said in the video.
1) He talks about the average player base numbers as though players are fleeing the game because of this last patch. When new content is dropped the player base will spike and then fall off. This is true for every single game created ever. If you look at the steam charts before the patch dropped, the player count is currently the same. Acting like this is the players are fleeing in droves and it's product of poor game design is just dishonest.
2) As demonstrated by his last video, he proved that glitches and bugs are not the biggest issue the game has. I run the game on a potatoes and pretty much never crash although admittedly it does happen seldomly.
3) I am sorry that you are bored. Thats too bad. I can't deny you your own anecdotale experience. Maybe play something else instead of crying?
4) There are AAA games with known bugs and issues years after launch. Its just what the industry is. Although companies should strive to remove these, it's pretty much an endless task.
5) Yes I can name multiple planets from the game. Even if I couldn't, this isn't even a point.
6) Although the game does have strategy, what it does lack in strategy can be attributed to the players like this screeching about how they can't kill 20 bile titans with their side arms and demanding buffs.
7) It's wild claiming nothing has changes after this patch. Assault rifles are better then ever, a ton of offensive stats became pretty damn good, and sentries became more varied/practicle.
8) Crying about gunships? Must suck to suck. HMG, Autocannon, EAT-17, Recoiless, Spear, Scorcher, Laser Cannon, Quasar Cannon, Rocket sentry, Auto cannon sentry, anything with medium armor pen, etc can kill them.
9) Solo mode impossible? Sounds like a skill issue. I infact enjoy the game most solo.
10) Reducing how many bile titans spawn, and then complaining about how its impossible to fight a charger behemoth is a joke. Use Stratagems (the thing the game is designed around). They are easier to kill then a titan. The game is strictly easier with this change.
11) Complaining that the game doesn't have load out variety because you refuse to bring a weapon that can pen medium armor has to be a troll right?
12) Claiming the game is cancerous for new player because they wont be able to deal with gunships are chargers is laughable. First off maybe new players shouldn't b e expected to just walk in and ace 7+ missions. Second, You can kill those things with the Lvl 1 load out.
13) If your team mates are not where you want them to be, maybe look inward and ask yourself if you are where you need to be. Sitting around and getting mad that randoms on the internet can't psychicly read your game plan is insane. You probably just get mad and act like "there is no way you could be doing the wrong thing" however.
14) Complaining that the small guy can kill you is lame af. At what point is it a skill issue? Do you actually want enemies that are not threats to you? That sound like a boring game.
15) You literally complain about how there is no loadout diversity (which is wrong) and then say "back in the good ol' days you didn't have options but it was fine. Its too bad you refuse to play different builds. Game is pretty fun if you do.
16) Full support weapon ammo works for me. It has ever since the first patch after the upgrade was dropped. I take the AC all the time and get full ammo.
17) The patrols are not busted. I was sitting around in a mission earlier today thinking to myself "wow I did this entire primary objective without being hassled by anything". If anything the game has became brain dead easy. That what happens when players who arbitrarily decided that they need to play at 7+ strong arm the developers into bubble wrapping their game.
18) You don't have the fire power? I never run out of ammo and go fight every patrol I run across playing solo. I do this with various loadouts. Skill issue.
19) Can you point to me exactly what nerfs in this patch crippled you as a player? You can't because the last patch was pretty much exclusively buffs. Don't feed me a line about how you are weakened as a player. 100% of the player base probably shouldn't be able to solo helldive.
20) Of the 10+ people I know IRL who I play with, none of them avoid patrols, and we pretty much fight our way through everything (even solo). We all play 7+.
21) I have never ran out of ammo for the flame thrower ever. Maybe shoot it at enemies instead of... nothing?
22) The HMG lack ammo? Oh noes!!! poor baby!!! Your gun doesn't have infinite ammo? Maybe having some weapons that have limitation is good. It's almost like you have to strategically consider your stratagems. Refer too point #6.
23) Love me the tenderizer. I always bring the grenade pistol and never need to rely on it to clear enemies. It has plenty of ammo. Work on your aim.
24) It's not Anti-New player. The game infact has never been easier.
25) It's not anti-solo player. I play the game 60% of the time solo. This might be the easiest tpatch for solo players in fact...
It's almost impressive that someone can say 25 wrong/stupid things in a sub 10 minute video. This guy's got an average of 1 idiotic thing every 22 seconds.

If you go steam charts and look at the player counts for left4dead 2 or vemrimn tide 2 (AAA horde shooters) you would see that most players stopped playing those after a few month too. Acting like this patch made the game bad, or that the loss of the player base isn't completely normal is flat dishonest.
I feel my arguments are pretty much in good faith. Care to point out examples of ones that aren't? I beg you too go look at his last video. It has all the same arguments and points as this one, but the community ratioed it into the ground, the entire comments section told him he's wrong. I can't deny him his own personal experience with the game, but when I say "not for me sooo...", it is at least in line with the prevailing community opinion.

I recently bought game and it's literally the most fun I've had in ages. Figuring out the nuances of the game has been fun but it's the communication with team mates that makes or breaks a mission. If you're all on full coms and communicating then you can clear out any enemies with ease.

The start of Helldivers had an insane peak and it makes sense that it wasn't retained all the way because the number is absolutely insane.
A big update bringing players in isn't something that indicates the game fell off, it happens in literally every video game ever.

@@saravanhorn4982 You should make a game so I can declarer it dead after the 8 players you get drops to 2, four seconds later. A game with 50,000+ concurrent player daily is FAR from dead. The majority of games don't have more than 500 player at a time anyhow. Your reasoning is shit. Live service is a rather new format, and is one that does it's best to TAKE players away from competing games. Every dev is fighting for the same number of people. Try too to remember that those are only the Steam numbers (a data collection that users can opt out of).

no new content
no new updates
no planned updates
no server infrastructure
poor reputation
