I have this conjunction in Scorpio with a man, he's Venus, i'm Pluto, and it's definetely about obsession!He's a Scorpio, i'm Pisces 😜 we have this in our synastry and composite. I think your reading of the aspect it's extremely accurate and useful on how to manage it. When you love genuinely love yourself and have a full life you don't need to play mindgames, and the conjunction works really well because it creates a strong bond between the two people involved. I read that you can easily find this aspect in married couples... my parents have this too in their synastry.

My husband and I have Pluto conjunct Venus in 2H Libra! -with both of them strongly aspecting many other planets. The negatives I saw were an inconjunct to the MC, and a semisextile to the Sun and Mercury. (There is also a square to the Vertex, but I'm not sure if that counts in a composite chart.) The positives are a trine to Jupiter, and sextiles to the Moon, Mars, Saturn, and Neptune!
The Moon, Mars, and Saturn (and the Part of Fortune) are also all conjunct the AC in Leo!

I have venus conjunct Pluto in Scorpio in my natal 10th house. I’ve learned through a bunch of Pluto catastrophic moments that I have to maintain a degree of obsessive love for myself and positive activities or else I get obsessed over a person and completely lose my sense of self 😭 Typically an Aries or Leo where my Sun sign in Libra is opposed or debilitated. These relationships aren’t healthy for me and now with wisdom I have chosen to build healthy relationships bc I don’t have time to be consumed by selfish relationships. Tough lesson nevertheless I feel much more empowered now that I’m aware of this subconscious deal I’ve had going on. Thanks Tan ❤

I have the exact same placement as you and yes this is the core of the problem - trying to find reconnection to self through another. It is bound to fail. I am at a pivotal moment in my life where I am finally starting to turn the tide and stop abandoning myself in order to "save" or "love" or "control" or "fix" or "fixate" on another. My venus sextile his pluto in synastry and we also have venus sextile pluto in composite. How does this play out?
I have this composite aspect with my boyfriend he is Pluto in Scorpio and I am venus in Scorpio (his venus is also in Scorpio and I am Pluto in libra)
We are hanging on by a thread. It is very exhausting and draining but I think there are other aspects that are not good in our synastry chart. I have a lot of resentment for him and sometimes I HATE him.

I’m in a fix! I have Mars, Venus, Pluto, Jupiter conjunction in Composite in Scorpio with an unworthy guy.
I have seen composite venys conjunct mars both square pluto. At the same time neptune opposition sun , mercury conjuct saturn and venys trine jupiter (6p) with jupiter conjuct (6p) moon....
Well dear thats is diffucult i guess... cause their natal chart are so differend... yes money and intimacy is huge problems...

I kinda wish I didn't listen to the composite venus square Pluto lol. Sounds like it will never be smooth in any way. It's weird bc we have venus trine venus and venus trine mars and venus conjunct mars in synastry. His Saturn conjuncts my venus too. Wonder if that helps out at all. It really has been just a bunch of power plays, yet neither one of us can cut it off. Is it just a waste of time???

Merely curious about how to utilize the energy of this pattern but stuck in the Cradle with the mercury opposite to Saturn meanwhile the mercury conjunction to north node. Pretty hard to learn and express knowledge properly in real-life.
