Random comment here but I wanted to say that the St. Croix Super Formula Race in VR is by far my favorite in the whole game. I actually started to sweat a little after a couple of races. I love that it keeps you on your toes the whole time.

No stops neede with any Gr. 1 car, 1 stop with Gr. 2 and 2 stops with Gr. 3. And this is a Gr. 2 car.

Tune and car works well and racing it is compelling to say the least... its my favorite race at the moment
I do a no stop in the NSX Raybrig (de-tuned for 800) with lean mix 6 and short shift when the Rev is halfway. It’s 1 minute slower than this but I’ll set my GT One up with your setting to mix it up a bit. Thanks for the vid.

@@DoughtinatorI had a lot of fun with it. Times are close enough to the Group C cars I usually use that I'll throw this into the grinding mix as well. Took a few laps to get used to since the braking points are a bit closer to the turns than I'm accustomed to. I guess the car is either lighter or has better brakes.

Sometimes it’s a bit annoying to see how people achieve PP by adding ballast, weight is the biggest enemy of race cars, adding 200kg to a 900kg race car is n insult😭😭😭
A lot of teams add ballast due to regulation requirements.
i prefer restrict power than adding weight
what do you think happens when bop is applied?
@@OrangeSunshine15 Exactly. I find that adding weight (if I have to) can aid distribution, thus better balance in most situations.

Thanks man. Nearly all of the Group C LeMans cars are VERY quick around Sardegna.
Pikes Peak Escudo is another fast one but it’s a bit awkward to drive.
Still no better race than 30m Circuit la Sarthe... its 875k for 32m race and race is soooooo simple on GT4 Silvia S15 (: 550HP and 1000 weight
Sometimes, the rain wrecks the AI, and you can get up to a 4-minute lead, lol. I was able to finish perfect 30-minutes a few times (+ a few milliseconds to cross the line).
I do also like that race too 👍🏻
Le Mans is not as efficient as Sardegna in terms of race length, because you can finish Sardegna in under 25 minutes.
I wish I had a friend who would let me try his psvr2 to make my mind. haha, but I will take your word & go for it. only for gt7. 😁
I will give this car a shot & see if it can beat the nissan 928. I am now able to push that nissan & complete the race in 23 mins, massive thanks to you for sharing that setup.
Yeah it really is a case that you need to experience it to really understand it. It doesn’t translate to video what you feel.
It’s not faster than the R92 NISSAN but it is fun to drive 👍🏻
Once you play GT7 in VR its hard to go back to flat screen GT7 in VR is Amazing

I don’t know why, but I love using the 70’ Chapperel 2J on that race. It’s not for everyone though. It can be challenging. It’s a old race car with a lot of power
Like that too, especially in VR. And no unnecessary gear shifting needed.

Like most people I grind Sardegna for money but I get bored after awhile so I'm always switching cars. I have around 7 cars or so that I use to keep some interest. Some absolutely dominate and could be slightly boring while others are just fun to drive but are closer matched and give me more competition.

Hello. I tried the Toyota GT-One TS020 in this race. Yes, this car dominates with certain settings. But for me, it's more comfortable to win and dominate in the AMG Mercedes CLK-LM 98. It's a great car for races at the 800PP level.
I think it’s a close match for the CLK. but my fastest is still the Nissan R92CP from legends 👍🏻
Shockingly it would appear that the CLK LM '98 is around 1 second per lap faster than the GT-ONE '99 in peak form despite the fact that in real life the '99 GT-ONE which is the model featured in GT7 was around 6 seconds faster round Le Mans as it was in the further evolved and quicker LMGTP category, with, no road going homologation specials required.
I really hoped this car would be good for that race but its 2 minutes slower than my best race time with the mazda
Yeah it’s good. But it’s not the best. I still think that’s the R92CP 👍🏻
I beat Sardegna with any Gr.3 car. That’s what I do when I wanna make credits.
Yeah I also like the Gr3s for this race. But I wanted to get the new car tuned for this one. Throw in variety 👍🏻
@@Doughtinator Porsche Legend is OP car here too. On the Gr.3 cars just add the turbo and sports transmission. Easy win.
I use the Audi DMT Gr2. And use a 1 spot strategy and I can lap them as well

Nice Vid. I love GT7 in VR, especially the showroom. it like real life. How do you feel about all the negativity towards PSVR2 like IGN & Bloomberg saying the headset is pretty much dead. How it your experience on PSVR2, are you going to miss it when you give it back.
Personally I would buy it again, its worth it just for GT7, but there are so many awesome games out there too, RE4 remake is insanely good.

It's a great car. Pleasure to drive, good on breaks. It's still not a Gr.1 car and both RC92CP and 727B are simply faster and have better fuel economy. Wish GT-one was Gr.1:(

It’s a special VR showroom that is available with PSVR2.
But you’re right. It’s the same as Forza vista and they really could just allow it for everyone 🤷🏻♂️

Find a way to try it before you buy it. There's a chance you be disappointed or atleast underwhelmed. I'm one of the minority of owners it seems. There's a lot of praise for it.

Why do you add ballast and go map 3? Isn't it better to go down on power and have less weight, use less fuel?
I tried. But lightweight and de tuned engine really don’t help enough with fuel efficiency.
Sardegna especially also suits power. Many long straights. 👍🏻
Often it makes the car perform better, and balances it out, even though the specs might show as being slower. Also reducing power is much more heavy handed and doesnt help it drive better.

That car doesn't belong in that race, so you have to down tune it. He's go it right, I used it for grins and giggles, runs pretty good.
How did the PP go down from stock 844 to 799? Is it because of the tune?

Maybe I'm doing something wrong (not a noob) but in every turn when I accelerate I spin out. I don't think this is grippy at all.
Try putting TC on 2. That should help a lot.

I think it should be possible on hard tires to get it down to 700. Not tried it yet though.
Yeah guy used it on Tokyo 600pp so it can get to 700pp

Turn everything down, including aero, add 100lb. Ballast and -48, turn off turbo. Win by 2 minutes on beginner.
Same at spa with other cars 1hr..1.8m

It would be great if it comes for players below level 50. Because some cars need to be fitted with engines and I can’t do it because my level is not high enought

It’s a calculated hourly rate. It’s not what you can earn within an hour.
It’s the only way to compare different races payout.
This race can be done appropriately 2.4 times per hour.
This is my big problem with the game; Any proper credits farming is locked away behind 30-ish minute races and even then you're still looking at 10 continues hours of driving in order to afford ONE 20 million credit car. God forbid there are two 20 million credit cars in the Legendary Dealer you do not already own. That on its own is over 20 hours of continuous driving for just two cars. It's ridiculous, it shouldn't be this way, the implementation of micro transactions is worse than Joe Biden's public image and the whole game is just a non stop grind for credits. AKA Microgreed. Polyphony and Sony really put themselves in the spotlights for all the wrong reasons imo and i'm glad i did not fork over the money for a PS5, because Gran Turismo really is the only reason i own my PS4 Sony console. They'll have to go back to basics with a new iteration of the franchise if they want me to buy another console from them. It's with pain in my heart that say: i fear this last generation of consoles might just be the last ones i've bought (new).
So many decisions on this game are made by people who cant drive.
Well .... to each his own I guess. I use the "CORRECT" car there. It's where I check my tunes low speed response after sending it through the 800 Championship AKA: The Gauntlet .... I see what you are saying ... but once you run the Championship, then run that, you end up with a well set up car. From there, you take it to Spa in the rain..... When you're done, you'll have almost 3 million and a car that's ready to rumble ..... and you didn't take any shortcuts .... and you end up being a better driver overall .... Those that prefer to take the shortcut or easy rode .....

For what it’s worth. My preference would be to run the same class of car for the event. That’s why my Gr1 prototype guides use a Gr1 Prototype car.
But. I like to help people enjoy GT7 in a variety of ways. And that is to use the latest car to make money and that’s what this build is fun 👍🏻
@@Doughtinator We good bro, we just have different ways of going about it. I stress to my proteges .... do it the right way, you'll learn more. Sardegna for example, is actually designed to use all three tires and teach you how to save fuel and keep a steady pace. In other words two stops. Save fuel for the first 8, stop, change to med, you barely have enough fuel to run 4 wide open, so you have to coax that four out of it. last stint change to softs and floor it ..... do it right when you run into fuel races in the Daily Lobby, you know exactly what to do ... the more you do it, you can look at race specs and know exactly how long your tires will last and have your pit strategy in hand before the race even starts.... Doing it right makes you better in the long run. Like I said previously ... It is "The Shortcuts" who are hitting people, because they can't figure out how the ones who did the right way keep showing them the tail lights ....

@@Doughtinator The GT ONE is somewhat of a disappointment ... I can't get no juice out of it. I've been running it against my other group 2 cars .... The Audi DTM wipes the floor with it. Haven't given up on it yet. I'm gon get her to act right .... I'm thinking to go extreme and give it bigger gears, it's starts out with small gears .... as far as rode manners, it's good to go, just slow to me. Got a feeling Daily is going to be group 2 next week . Next week is 'tune week' too .... should be interesting. BOP it keeps up. Tuned it's slow as hell. Had a GTR500 completely dust me off, lol.
