I'd be interested to know too! Do you have access to a multimeter because you could test the cable before needing to buy a new one? That way you would know for certain before spending any money. It's worth the effort because you could save yourself the cost of a new set of straighteners.
Hi, I don't know where you are but I would just search online for "GHD straighteners cable" and you will find lots of places which sell the replacement cables. Just make sure you get the right one for your model of straighteners.
No I don't, but hopefully the video gives you the information necessary to replace it yourself. The straighteners are broken as they are so you have nothing to lose by trying! 😊
Not easily Lorna because of the plug on the circuit board inside the end of the straighteners, and if you did do it then (not that I am an expert in the use of straighteners!) but I think you'd find that because it no longer rotates, your new lead would fail quite quickly. I love to fix things and if I can do so without spending money then ask the better, but when I could buy a complete new lead for only £10 I felt it just wasn't worth trying to do anything else.
