      Yes, but I do have a question: what has helped you grow your hair so long? I noticed a huge difference between recent videos and previous ones from about a year or so back.

    I am so happy I found this video. This used to be my wash and go routine 3 years ago. And for some reason, I forgot about it. Ima do these steps back again. I have a similar hair pattern as you, just a little bit more tight curls. And I have fine hair, I lifted the color of my hair with hydrogen peroxide. So now I have chestnut brown color. God bless!🙏

      gootsy Collins she commented to another youtuber that she invented wet plopping. I was shocked. I’m 46, not sure how old she is, but this method has been used forever on curly hair. I’m going to try it again. Hopefully with better results than before

    I don’t have the patience to do this all the time but the one time I used your hair mask technique my hair dramatically changed in the curl definition. Even by just using your technique for putting in product has helped my curls look so much better! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge 🧡

    Hi Felicia, Great video! I have tried twisting my hair to train my curls and I've also tried wet plopping to get curl definition but my hair comes out of the shower clumped but frizzy and comes completely unraveled once I touch it, so I never have any definition to begin with. I thought it may have been build-up so I clarified my hair, but that didn't make a difference. I wash once a week so I'm not stripping my hair of oils too much, I deep condition every wash day, and my stylist says I have nicely moisturized hair, so I don't think it's a moisture problem either. I have A LOT of shedding when I shower (and I'm seeing more scalp than I'm comfortable with when my hair is dry and fluffed out), but my hair is very iffy when it comes to proteins, sometimes protein in my products are okay and other times it makes my hair dry as a tumble weed.
    All of that long winded message to ask: do you have a video on determining the cause of hair problems like frizz right out the shower, massive shedding (more than the 100 hairs a day, and scalp starting to show), and what you look for in your hair to determine if products work for you? If you don't have a video like that, would you consider making one now that you're in beauty school and learning even more?
    Thank you!

      I suggest maybe seeing a dermatologist for the hair loss. Also try some more moisturizing products instead of protein or DIY masks and also .make sure none of your products in the ingredients lists have alcohols or other drying out ingredients

    • @margaretstallworth
      @margaretstallworth 4 роки тому +2

      I'm going through the exact same thing. Dermatologist told me to take viviscal hair vitamins and rogiane. It's getting longer but shedding is still happening and the slightest touch. I use to have full, long and thick curls and can see my scalp now. Very scary! :-( It must be a common link bc many women are dealing with this issue. I hope someone finds out what....it's beyond stress and diet for sure.

    • @jadejones6706
      @jadejones6706 3 роки тому

      If there’s a lot of frizzy whilst your hair is still dripping wet or very damp then I’m gonna assume you just got natural frizzy hair and you can tame this by using frizzy hair products as for the hair loss I would go and see someone about it as this could be half your problem but I’d also make sure you got a balance of protein and moisture to your hair care products as this can alsohelp

    Great video Felicia and your curls are GORGEOUS as always!! I incorporated using more water in my routine such as: with "squishing and conditioning", separating in two sections and twisting into two twists, while styling and then plopping with a t-shirt for the last 3 months and it's made a huge difference in my hair growth. And I got so lazy with my prepoos and got back to that and my scalp massages. Hoping to have waist-length hair by the Fall!!💖

    I was always wondering how others were doing it, I would always apply my styling product before wet plopping and then finishing off with air drying so it's so interesting to see you plop first! I'm definitely gonna try, did you ever try apply my way? Would love to see how it would turn out on you.
    Also, I'm also a lightskin but my scalp is like super white pale, I'm curious if it's just me who's weird ahhaha

    This has been a note I’ve added into my hair Bible I’m creating! I’ve been on a healthy hair journey for 2 yrs now after years of using the wrong products and heat. Everyone else loved my curls and now I love them just the same if not more. And I want our 5 yr old daughter to love her as well and embrace them 🙌🏾 I’ve managed to get my curls tighter and retrained but my hair is still dry and I have a lot of fall out 💔 so wet plopping blew my mind!!! I appreciate any tips & tricks you have ❣️ IG - i_am_bmw 😘
