RANGE TEST UPDATE: At 9 degrees celsius, with my weight ~230lbs, the X1 Max managed 7 miles on a hilly route. Avg. speed 15mph, mode 4 up until 40% battery, then down to mode 3. I'll update again when I get the chance to do a flatter route.
I managed to get mine up to 11.5 miles, having 18% battery left on the board hub motor and with cloudwheel donuts. I do wonder what the range is on the normal exway wheels?, but I chose comfort over range :D
@@JTKumario no problem.. happy to give some real world feedback... everyone seems to have various opinions.. I got mine fixed by exway, and it was as expected with my weight, temp and how I was riding it!... Exway has hinted - longer range!... I can't wait
@@JTKumario they troubled shoot my fix.. got a new remote and update (although it took me over 100 attempts.. but it fixed my issue... the remote was old and I received a new one. it solved my volage sag,low voltage and battery issues.... Yesit tooka while to explain to teir service team.. but we resolved it eventually
It's recommended that you connect the charger to the board first and then connect the charger to the power supply. So it won't get spark. Thank you for the nice review.
I'm currently searching for eboards that are similar to the exway x1 max in terms of the discreet look with the motors and battery hidden inside the board, if there are any other products like this please do lmk

Hey Luke! Good to see you back posting videos again. Good stuff!
awesome video quality ! thanks for the nice review!
Are there a lot of wheel options for the hub variant?
Great review, SUBSCRIBED! :)
Can you ride like a regular skateboard as well or does that damage the motors?
Nah it's fine just a bit more rolling resistance, hub motors are better if you want to push
ID your helmet please thank you
It's the Giro Sutton MIPS
