SE sport 400 Hydrofoil install and review.

The SE sport 400 Hydrofoil by Sport Marine is a no drill clamp on hydrofoil. We installed it on our 200HP Suzuki and was surprised on how it affected the performance on our 20 ft Key Largo boat.

Thanks for the review. I'm surprised you felt you needed one when you already have trim tabs on the boat.

Trim tabs are a must but the Hydro did improve plaining and the ride a bit. thx for watching

I have a Scout 175 with a 90 Yamaha. I have to go 2 miles in a slow speed area and the bow of my boat lifts and I get low mileage at slow speed. Do you think this hydrofoil would help cut bow lift from 5 to 8 MPH? We are 2 big people and have weight in back of the boat as well.
