I know from experience that paintballs from Walmart or whatever (to practice at home) are bouncy and much worse than the brittle ones you find at paintball areas (brittle is good so it breaks on your target). Also, paintballs are comprised of oil and paint with a gelatin shell. It is not normal paint, and it actually edible so if it gets in your mask you stay safe.
