So the real science behind this the frozen gasoline isn't actually burning, the vapors from the solid gasoline sublimating are burning. The gasoline is froze in thin crystals so when the match is applied the solid gasoline sublimates or quickly melts and vaporizes then the vapors ignite generating more heat to vaporize more solid gasoline. The popping and ferocity comes form little vapor pockets being formed from the heat and then burning.

Why you keep on using rubber gloves in fire-related experiments is beyond me. They're literally the worst possible type of gloves you could use in such settings.
As you yourself had the chance to witness at the end of the video, if you get fire on rubber gloves they will melt and stick to your hands causing you very severe burns. Having no gloves at all would literally be better than wearing rubber ones.

LemonD Grant put out the fire with the liquid nitrogen because liquid nitrogen is heavier than air, and takes in all of the space of the air. As we all know fire needs air to continue. If you had enough nitrogen to fill up an entire room, yes you could extinguish the fire, but no this would not really work in practice
