Hi, I am rebuilding a cumulus 2800 and would like to add electric power, can you please post details of motor, prop, battery, thrust angle etc. How did you keep the speed controller cool?
The battery is 3S 2200, controller Turnighy dLux 30a, prop 8x6. The Motor is also from turnighy but i dient remember the number, sorry. There is enough Air circulation around the controller the fuselage is quite big. There shouldnt be ans problems with a high temperature outside. So you better dont make a hole into it 😄
I am surprised that you can get a 2200 lipo in there, the battery compartment on mine is only 85mm long by 55mm wide, can only fit a 1300 battery, did you remove the front partition to enlarge the battery compartment into the nose.

I completely deepened the nose. The Lipo is lying on the nose in the fuselage.
Back again :-) The motor and esc are available with no problem, but where did you find a folding pusher prop that size?
