Yes Umhlanga is still Durban. Its just a product of decentralisation and disinvestment in the old city centre and Durban beach front area. Its like Sandton and Rosebank and Waterfall and many of these other areas in Joburg. It just means the country is developing and providing options to different LSMs.
That makes sense, thanks for the update. Very helpful 🤝
Thank you for this view and the beautiful picture. It is truly wonderful, and the most beautiful are those happy faces spending time apart from vacation 😊😊 nice job 👌🏽👋🏽
Thank you too😊
This is the best views I have seen so far. But what I love the most is not just the buildings, the beaches, malls and the ocean breeze, is how far you go and walk to give us these exuberant footage. You really love your work broer. Keep it up. I love your job to bits. And i love you as well. Thanks
Wow, thank you. That's so encouraging 😊
Umhlanga Rocks is Sandton to Johannesburg so you have said it correctly except that its more leisure based than Sandton. I used to live not far from there about 5 minutes away and not far from Umhlanga Ridge.
Thanks for bailing me out. 😊
48:40 If you walked straight then the Windsor Avenue will turn into Mendoza Drive and thats where I used to live not more than 10 minutes walk away.
Amazing 😊
this was a real eye opener for me, so much development over the past 40 years. We obviously have to try harder to look more like a poor failed country 🤣🤣🤣🤣
U can say that again 😀😀
Right? 😂😂
I was there last 1988, I am so amazed at this. Dit blink.
Nice video broe I really love your work. I'm definitely subscribing
Thanks for subscribing Bro🤝😊
Brother thanks for this amazing & incredible Vlog of Umhlanga, it's really beautiful and well designed & planing. Always watching you're videos all the way from Australia. I use to leave in South Africa during the 90s but was in Cape Town, I never get chance to visit Durban city, but always I visit this city through you're videos, thanks very much.
Thanks. I really appreciate. God bless 🙏
Used to be known as Umhlanga Rocks, a separate holiday village from Durban. Now it is part of the Durban area. South Africa has the best beaches!
I hope U well and yes Most definitely south africa stands out when it comes to beaches 😊
The beach area is still known as Umhlanga Rocks, where Gateway and the office parks are that's Umhlanga proper.
Beautiful awesome ❤place in South Africa
@@AndreBoltman indeed 🥂
I think it's high time you get that DRONE BRO and show us more of these btful places
Thanks for reminding me. Makes sense. Hopefully in the very near future 🤝
if UMHLANGA could just find a way(new government) to permanently keep there oceans and air clean, it would become the Miami of SA .
if you test the water privately you full find it is full of KAK 50% of the time . lovely place but the water needs alot of work the government lies about the quality of the water all the time
Beautiful place 🇿🇦
It really is!
Thank You for taking pains of walking approx. 8 kilometers to
show us magical Umhlanga.
Thank you for appreciating my efforts 🙏❤️
Great job, loved it
Glad you enjoyed it! 😊
😊 you're the best
You too🙂
Umhlanga is a suburb in Durban
Well done bru"
Thanks man 🍻
It truly is a rainbow of people out there. Almost looks like a California beach.
Check out Manhattan Beach, Newport Beach, Long Beach, Playa Del Rey, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach. Some of the best beaches in my home state of California.
Thanks. Much appreciated 😊
Video Awesome 👍 ad usual 😅😊
Thank you so much 😀
Love this vidoe, now I am home szick
I know the feeling. Be strong, U will be fine 🙂

Very true..
Great rest area.

😅😅😅😅 our jealous sister demanding to call a tow truck.... for those expensive beautiful machines ...
Tell me about it😃
The greatest videos ever about you we thank you so much for these photographs we can't appreciate your love Atlanta Georgia just sometimes talk a little less if you don't mind talk a little less so we can see how people are engaging in the background if you don't mind a little constructive criticism for myself and my family we love you videos you're the best and we'll keep coming back to these places only with you through your views and we appreciate it so much don't get me wrong thank you
No I, I totally understand, that's why sometimes I don't speak at all. Problem others do complain if I don't speak. I will do as U suggest to balance the equation 😀
The truth is that white folks have retreated to Umhlanga and left the rest of Durban to the majority. It is well run and have great investments, while the rest of Durban is regressing. Umhlanga does not have any good beaches more than the rocky crappy beaches where you can barely go into the water. The best of Durban is still the golden mile with its beautiful beaches. The promenade and beaches are pretty safe but need more investors to freshen up the place like they do in Umhlanga.
That makes sense especially about the refreshing of Durban beaches such as south beach. Needs some revamp on a serious note.
Why is the majority waiting for whites to do things for them why not revamp n modernize without including the minority coz the municipality n tenderpreneurs have more than enough money to do that
@Walk_Africa north beach by milky lane is quite nice in Durban! Deffinately not an umhlanga but there is a good selection of resturants on north beach and the water is lovely for swimming
Go to Durban CBD😂
Don't worry I will 😊
Beautiful ❤❤
Thank you! 😊
This is SA not America the narrator must confuse the 2 different place.
What are U talking about 🤷
I was on contract to a large car maker in Durban , and traveled all over the country , that was 40 years ago , recently saw a few vids of Durban , i was really impressed that in 40 years its turned in to a right shit hole . Umhlanga has all was being nice . the people at Umhlanga pay more taxes to keep the area looking good ..in another 40 years i will not recognize the Durban at all it will be worse , failing Electric , failing water supplies , failing raw sewage , corrupt police force , failing law and order , all the infostructure collapsing,
corrupt government from top to bottom . but thats what the majority wants there . Umhlanga is a rare place .
