You know, I Musta listen to this song 50 times over the last several years since I found Jason‘s channel and along with his other songs, I can’t figure out how someone with an awesome powerful, clear voice like this is not famous and then you have these celebrity, so-called artist that are famous and sell tons of records but they can’t really sing for crap

No comparison Jay's voice has greater range and sounds much to better...
He's a Lyiabird.... can copy but never reaches the heights beyond imitation.
You have such nice things to say about my singing. FYI, I don't sound like anything like the original singer. Play them side by side. You'll hear the difference. I use the same arrangement, but I do inject my own personal style.
He sounds pretty good...but not Jay Black....Black was like Roy Orbison and Bobby Hatfield.....not saying he's not good..but just not the same.
