The cuts to black & white wood chopping footage aligned with on-track performance is, by far, the best demonstration of a point ever to be made in comedic history! I’m not usually a fan of coverage of this type of event (due to it all being roughly the same) but fellas, you’ve changed my mind; full marks to all involved.
Even though a parsec is a measure of distance rather than speed, it still makes sense. They took a shorter more dangerous route through an asteroid field.
I did notice that. Most impressive how well behaved and consistent it is! That's one badass Bedford. Kudos to all involved. Now it just needs an A Team inspired paint job or wrap 😎
Thanks so much to Millsi for taking myself and my 15 year old out for laps first up Sunday morning it was his first experience out on a track and absolutely loved it Such an awesome car!!!
When filming those scenes, do you suppose it was under a Mambo Sun? Heard they had to fight rabbits, whom were tipped off by Telegram Sam, when first arriving (in Draguar...if i may be so bold?). Alright, late for work...F-N LAME⅞
As a British person who remembers Bedfords when they still cruised British roads... It's been at least 20 years since I saw one in the flesh. Our weather, salt on the roads and total disregard for old Vans makes seeing this a true delight. Thank you.
Yes we had lots of them on the British Gas fleet. The 2.3 CF was quite a bit faster than any other van of the time, except the police only 3.0 V6 Transit & 3.5 V8 Sherpa.
i remember being at college working on a twin wheel diesel, a fellow apprentice put the front wheels on inside-out, much to our lecturers amusement. 1981.... they had a getrag gearbox in as standard, rocky horse shit they were, virtually indestructable
It's great to see it absolutely shred after the amount of pain, sweat and lemon squashes went into this build! What a machine it has become, like Frankenstein's monster on an 8-ball of speed.
Of all the videos yet, this one is by far my favourite. I smiled ear to ear the whole way through. I guess because I've watched since the beginning seeing you boys end up at this point in life with such great mates as well is just really satisfying. You deserve it all. My favourite part was seeing the proud smile on Alan's face watching his grommet experience huge power for the first time. That was right in the feels for me as a dad myself. Well done to all, you should all be so proud. Great stuff, thanks for a great start to my day!
Hell Yeah !! I love how thrilled Millsi is with this finally, he deserves it. He's got that drive to totally whip his competition and make them feel silly for underestimating his "Van" and it's hilarious.
Funniest shit I’ve seen in a while, well done boys. Kudos to Millsie for being a great sport....should be more people like him. Should have plenty of firewood around the camp now. Good to see the Barra’s take some heat off the LS price rises.
Take those extra 4 - 5 people out and lookout anything. Nice job Al and am sure Millsi has a permanent smile that last's at least a week after every drive.
Used to drive a stock Beddy with the sliding doors open on warm days. It could take off quick, but the diff gearing limited it to 90kmh on the highway.
Epic video a testament to the build, to Millsi for being epic enough to share and the engineering of this fine machine . Like most im grinning ear to ear today thanks for making lockdown life in Melbourne that little bit easier.
Never smiled so wide in a while especially during lockdown. The cut scenes of chopping wood is cinematic brilliance. Top job on the beddy, love the turbo spool gets me every time. Awesome day. Thanks lads.
I remember 10+ years ago at Calder Park a Van rocked up and alot of people were bagging it, tune changed when it did a quick pass, cannot remember the exact time but think it was close to 10 seconds.
Australia post needs a big fleet of these vans to speed up parcel delivery before X-mas!! They could get you to build them for them and then they really could call it EXPRESS DELIVERY
I'm a truckie and the funny thing is an inline 6 truck that has 35 psi boost (quite a few have this OEM) and 2000ft/lbs torque has the same sort of 'block splitting' explosive torque delivery when heavily loaded on hills - except at about 1400-1900rpms not 6500rpm. It's the boost that does it.
damn this is the coolest thing ever!! i hope this is me one day. taking all the homies on a ride in the van and handing gapples to absolutely everyone and anyone AT THE SAME TIME!
I REALLY miss having boost in my daily life. I have a 709 whp EJ8 Civic coupe drag car, and I did have a 500 whp CG1 Accord daily with a 3.2 V6 Acura swap with a six speed manual on AEM, but it was totaled when some student driver pulled out right in front of me. Now I have a 2004 Acura TL and it's staying almost stock for reliability.
I was quite unconvinced when Alan first explained that the Bedford was going to get even more powerful, didn't quite get the point or the reasoning behind. Consider myself convinced ! Holy sh*t that thing looks so fun !!
LIMITED EDITION BEDFORD SHIRTS IN STOCK! YES I AM YELLING!

The Bedford Bang Bus ! 🤣👌
Can you explain the whole chopping wood thing im sorry but I don’t get it
LOUD NOISES!
@@planitmc1204 When you 'win' a 'drag' race, the loser is considered to be, 'chopped'.
WHAT!?!?
SPEAK UP SON!!!

Yeah cool
Those chopped bits were absolutely brilliant :D
It took me till the 3rd time to realize they are refering to "Chopped" XD i canned myself when i got it.
I thought I’d get sick of it… but it’s the Fkn gift that keeps on giving
The only CF Bedford to make the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs
Good one. Look a bit like Falcon too
Strong with the force you are haha
You are my people. MTFBWY ;)
FYI, a parsec is a measure of distance not speed. 😑
Even though a parsec is a measure of distance rather than speed, it still makes sense. They took a shorter more dangerous route through an asteroid field.
You might like to note how straight it drives and isn't a handful like many expected.
Awesome vision man, well done mate
True that. Plus you drove the arse off that thing mate. Can see your joy as you do it. Congrats 👍
I did notice that. Most impressive how well behaved and consistent it is! That's one badass Bedford. Kudos to all involved.
Now it just needs an A Team inspired paint job or wrap 😎
As they note... it was all driver.
A great end result for the time being.
I was surprised. Got half the power and it's all over at full boost. Guessing you have at least drag radials.
Thanks so much to Millsi for taking myself and my 15 year old out for laps first up Sunday morning it was his first experience out on a track and absolutely loved it
Such an awesome car!!!
Thanks for coming along. 👍🏻👍🏻
Cinematic black and white drone shots of chopping wood. Peak internet right there.
CHOP.

Same thing here in Finland. It's way over 10 years that i last saw one of those in road.
Yes we had lots of them on the British Gas fleet. The 2.3 CF was quite a bit faster than any other van of the time, except the police only 3.0 V6 Transit & 3.5 V8 Sherpa.
They were very common too here in Ozz, built in Luton and imported if I remember correctly.
I used to work at the Vauxhall/Bedford plant ( Luton) in the early '80's Building the Mk2 CF vans. Dont see them either anymore.
i remember being at college working on a twin wheel diesel, a fellow apprentice put the front wheels on inside-out, much to our lecturers amusement. 1981....

The shots of it on the track are the best. Nothing says I don't belong here like a seven seat Bedford on the track.
It's great to see it absolutely shred after the amount of pain, sweat and lemon squashes went into this build!
What a machine it has become, like Frankenstein's monster on an 8-ball of speed.
So, that's what my van would be like with 10X the power! Scary fun! That Corona was pretty quick, must have been the delta variant.
🤣🤣🤣
Wouldn't even need any free candy to lure me into that van!
Yeah, but candy's always nice...

Now Gussie will want a turbo on his Subaru ;)
love it
As much as Woody?
@@Jake_Hamlin not sure anyone can get that excited.
Icecream aquired.
Admittedly not who I expected to see in the comments. Guessing you'd like to get your hands on a Barra to give it a look see?
Love the chopped cinematic clips and the chopped fails
Seriously made my day seeing all that chopping with 6 people on board!!!!! Haven’t smiled that much watching a car vid in a long time
7 people on board, two-three-two seating !!
i love how the difficulty of wood and car chops match, easy chop = Al one handed split
Hell Yeah !! I love how thrilled Millsi is with this finally, he deserves it. He's got that drive to totally whip his competition and make them feel silly for underestimating his "Van" and it's hilarious.

Millsi's race face is hilarious!
Okay ship it to FL. We need it at the Freedom Factory. They wouldn't know what hit'em! Skid Factory is my favorite channel on UA-cam hands down.
I want to move to FL! Can you hook me up?
@@fknmillsi I'm sure Cleetus and the boys would be proud. Need to get you guys hooked up. Sharing this video as much as possible.
That Bedford is of it's farkin chops, rolling 6 deep swinging at the big boys.
Excellent job men 👍👍
Loved the classic 4doors more 'people', so that makes the Bedford a party.
7 up !!
What a beast! All that weight onboard and still kicks butt
9:11 A rare smile from Mr Yoda!
Used to drive a stock Beddy with the sliding doors open on warm days. It could take off quick, but the diff gearing limited it to 90kmh on the highway.
Really glad to see all that hard work paid of. Good job boys.
That proud dad moment of Alan looking back at his son smiling from all the work he put into that van! 🥲
Hahaha the double chop to the guy throwing down more logs.. had me in tears. Thank you guys for making my morning at work.
That van is mental . . . . love it. Well done on that epic build
Lays the power down like no other. Great build!
Keep doing something like this for every car build. It really rounds out the journey
wow , that van is a beast .. Al looked scared , woody looked excited & Millsi looked so happy .. loved the B&W chopped cut scenes
Millsi 6-up in the Beddy vs a rockin' spittin' blown V8: "okay, he got me."
Insane to see the driveability difference for speed in the Barra.
7-up, and it took some time for that Falcon to catch up !!
Epic video a testament to the build, to Millsi for being epic enough to share and the engineering of this fine machine . Like most im grinning ear to ear today thanks for making lockdown life in Melbourne that little bit easier.
Watched this build and it's frigin badass
People having fun, always loved heading out the complex there for test and tune or cutting laps.
Great footage and good time had by all.
That van is like working Renault espace F1! Awesome work
That van is a beast , nice to see all the hard work pay off
In the UK a popular modification for these vans was a bungee strap on the back door lever to stop the doors swinging open under mild acceleration.
looks bloody rapid! I feel like half the experience of being in the van is woodys energy 👌🤣 awesome vid guys
Every time I watch this channel I can't help but to think it's criminally un-discovered.
Never smiled so wide in a while especially during lockdown. The cut scenes of chopping wood is cinematic brilliance. Top job on the beddy, love the turbo spool gets me every time. Awesome day. Thanks lads.
It sounds amazing. Nice work all round.

The Bedford finally seeing some action. Good to see that it turned as awesome as the build was.
I LOVE the "chopped" scenes in between! hahahah
I can’t stop smiling. That was the best fun to watch. Thanks.
so fun to watch that thing on the track chopping everybody, so sick build
Damn that thing is silly fast! Congrats on the beast stabbin wagon!
Australia post needs a big fleet of these vans to speed up parcel delivery before X-mas!! They could get you to build them for them and then they really could call it EXPRESS DELIVERY
Milsy is cast iron mental and the Bedford is next level. Love it.
You know they're having an awesome time with all the smiles and laughs. Well done indeed and thanks for sharing this journey with us.
Absolute machine!
Pull after pull after pull after pull after pull after pull.... that's some quality control right there! Nice job guys! 8)
We had a cf bedford as a family vehicle crowing up, sometimes we could overtake a truck on a hill, sometimes.
His roll cage and passengers weigh more than some of the cars he raced against.
Jeeez ... that just cant get old..... that van Rips!!!
Two videos yes please bring it on👌 awesome build great driving what a way to spend a day! Keep up the good work, love it!!!
Reminds me of a rollacoaster with a barra strapped in =D that run with the Purple falcon was epic!
What a sick van, looks great fun fellas
I’m a lumberjack and I’m ok… chop chop chop! Loving it!
Woody has that crazy azz laugh like Brent from PFI
The dude chopping wood is gold !! What’s in that white Corona ??
Yeah, I want to know that as well. That thing moved.
If it’s the one I’ve seen before it’s 2J powered.
next week. not a 2j.
So I saw it in another video (white corona) and to my surprise it’s actually an RB20 with a monster turbo and nitrous 😎 sooo fast
Great content, and great comedic value. Looks like Millsy has a great time with his newly built toy.
Ok a seven seat dorifto Bedford is required.
That looks like a bloody good way to spend a day , well done all.
Millsi don't need to worry about any Firewood for a LOOOOOOOONG time. Awesome build and great to see it in Full Send Mode.
The black & white choppage. Pure art.
Great job guys. Love it.
Giggling like a schoolgirl! great episode lads!
This thing looks silly fast.... Bloody love it!
How good!! Good on all involved
One of the few clips I have watched 3 times and rewound it heaps Love it. Fully sic what a weapon LOL
That single handed chop by Al - total class ;)
The fact this thing destroyed everything with 7 passengers is amazing 😂
Seriously sick.. Best Bedford.. (not forgetting a blown falcon that kinda popped up..)
That XW makes 1500hp and is probably worth more than my house!
@@fknmillsi gave it a good scare none the less. And it can't carry 7 very, very brave volunteers 😀
I love this BFord Man, sound beautiful
Damn, that looks like so much fun!
It will never not blow my mind that this type of track event is run with passengers without helmets.
What a legend taking randoms for a blast on the track!
Love to see what that weapon would top out to over a full mile or so. Fastest brick on the planet I recon

Wicked van, I'll be back for a run again, congrats on chopping my VL with cammed ls1, 380hp
Good job Guy's, and Millsi for the fun bus 😂😂
This was great. Thanks guys
Got goosebumps. Its just like rippin at powercruise USA. Nice work
That beddy van is awesome
My new ringtone is a supercut of Woody, cackling and hooting like a bloody maniac
It’s the real taxi. Big Bang bros vibes from the early 2000’s 😂
Wow the van kicks ass love the van
I can only think of one word for this. WOW!
Had one of these back in early 80,s fully decked out with swivel seats 202 4speed it was a party bus alright cheers.
That was very satisfying to watch.
I was quite unconvinced when Alan first explained that the Bedford was going to get even more powerful, didn't quite get the point or the reasoning behind.

Woodies reaction is too good 👍
The wood chopping after each race never got old. Hilarious
